I'm guessing you handful of spergy redditors didn't watch either the old or new series, but the designs for the old show really were fucking awful. They only used one mold to make the toys, which were the really important thing and the reason the show existed, so all the characters looked the same, basically like a bunch of drag queens. I did enjoy both original MOTU shows a lot though because of their campiness, but they weren't good at all and even the people making the shows knew what they were. The reboot meanwhile is mostly mediocre and very generic and standard except for a few really strong moments mostly ep. 11.

I'm not them, but the quality of the old shows was low mostly because they were just ads and kids didn't care if they were shit. The art and animation for the reboot is pretty shitty too, but it is objectively better overall because the show is a creation unto itself, not just a commercial. The iffy budget is to save money but not just not giving a shit at all. But the people who worked on the old MOTU shit-talked it a lot and talked about banging out bullshit for "stories" because they just didn't matter. That doesn't mean there weren't talented people doing good work involved just that it was all very cynical and transparent.
Getting mad at The Batman following B:tAS made more sense than getting pissed at this reboot because B:tAS was actually good, not much because there are tons of other Batman things but as a sort of successor it was a comedown. Overall nostalgiafags for MOTU realize it was never any good. I think that's one big reason why your efforts are so obviously insincere. That and starting your "morality campaigns" before media is even released nowadays.
