The last one ended up dying but I remember we were talking about how Slashers ended up having movies and video games made out of them

Old interview from October 2003 with Dave Parker about that Halloween/Hellraiser project that never got off the ground:
>Recently, Parker talked to Creature-Corner about Dimension's plans to combine the HELLRAISER and HALLOWEEN franchises FREDDY VS. JASON style, a concept he first pitched a few years ago. Dimension, which had been keeping the project under wraps, wasn't too happy about the revelation. "When I started working on this pitch, FREDDY VS. JASON was still in development hell, I think '95 or '96—it was before HALLOWEEN 6 had opened," Parker explains. "I was a big fan of FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE WOLF MAN and HOUSE OF FRANKENSTEIN and the other monster rallies and was like, 'Oh, God, that would be so much fun in a geeky sort of way.' So I was thinking about what other ones you could do feasibly, and obviously Dimension had Pinhead and Michael Myers. So I started thinking about how it might work and came up with a take that wasn't 100 percent true to both mythologies, but there was something there that definitely worked.
how did scp deal with Zombies ?
I assume Halloween 3 is in, and so is Scream, so the first Halloween exists as a movie. Since you're using 4-6 timeline and not H20 you don't have to worry about the scene in H20 where they're watching Scream 2.
I wonder if we'll ever get to see the scripts for those. The only script pdf up is I assume some unofficial one by a fan because I can't find the pdf's author's name anywhere.
One other thing I wondered about this, this would've been made after Freddy vs Jason, if it were a success would Rob Zombie's films and the other 00's and 10's Hellraiser sequels be made? I mean one version of the project would have had Carpenter and Barker involved.
God that would have been kickass
Reminder that Jurassic Park is horror and anyone who says otherwise is a dumb faggot
this
freddy nightmare is part ?
I'm not clear about the Horror Host thing yet, how does it work? I know they're the Watchers of the Horrorverse. So they exist outside of the universe and look at events going on and intervene when the need comes?
And so when Freddy died, he became a "Horror Host" then entered back in for the events of the Nightmare on Elm Street films and some version of Freddy's Nightmares?
Occasionally intervene, but mainly hang around to tell the stories, such as Elvira, and occasionally Rod Serling, as for Freddy, I kinda see him as like a rogue Host, he’s not supposed to be causing the stories, but the others just don’t got the firepower to take him out, and around Freddy’s Dead? I could see a higher entity stripping him of his status as a Horror Host allowing him to die and fight Jason
I guess that makes sense, we see in the Spectre comic where he became a host of horror stories that he lost much of his powers.
Several SCPs create undead or unliving entities. 008 and 049 for example. So they have some experience in the field.
I think we said Zombie outbreaks happen all the time and the zombies from different outbreaks usually go for eachother until they’re cut down to zero or an easily killable amount
I think with the Horror Hosts, they can stab/kill/etc other hosts, but it's not permanent, sort of like with Abel and Cain in the DC horror books. And if you go by Freddy's Nightmares, I think he's limited to covering stuff that's going on at Elm Street, furthers is Springwood, Ohio. Other hosts are able to cover stories further around the world.
There was also one interpretation where an apocalypse happens and they spend another ten years fixing stuff up to be as if it never happened, which messes with the timeline. Which zombie apocalypse would that be, the Dawn of the Dead one?
The only issue is the Freddy's Nightmares episode takes place in 1990
There are a few types of zombies that would likely also go out of their way to destroy both themselves and other undead.
I was thinking like Braindead Zombies fighting WWZ ones
who are the final girls ?

What underage Tumblrat made that garbage?
We have talked about Ash Williams, and we’re referring more to Book Pennywise, and he have mentioned the Thing in preivuous threads, I argued Killer Klowns from Outer Space could take it out, and we’ve discussed Frankenstein’s Creature and Jekyll and Hyde, how about you actually check the previous threads dumbass
Why are you being such a faggot?
>ur such a dumbass since we obviously talked about all these things in the many threads that are not even linked in this thread like omg
You're an absolute fucking retard to get on my case for not seeing these random threads you'd only see if you browse this board consistently which I clearly don't.
It didn’t occur to you there maybe were old threads considering this is a “New Horrorverse Thread”
Since the old thread isn't in the catalogue, it doesn't really fucking matter now soes it?
You’re the one who went “DURRR TUMBLR” “
Tumblr choices in cutesy chibi designs....hmmmmm definitely not tumblr.
An anthology called Nightmares on Elm Street: Freddy Krueger's 7 Sweetest Dreams has an intro that states that Freddy Krueger was having films made about him even before he died.
Obviously this is an error (that intro is incredibly poorly written anyway), but if you want to accept that as an explanation for some of the weirder Elm Street incarnations and other horror series, it could work. Maybe there's a sub-reality of the Horrorverse where all the villains technically existed, but were non-supernatural (Cthulhu is just some ancient god that never existed, Michael Myers stayed locked up and never escaped, Victor Frankenstein's monster never came to life werewolves were just delusional serial killers), and the supernatural events we know and love are fiction in their reality.
I haven't been involved with this thread but on a scale from Channel-tan to 10 how good are you guys doing, it'd be nice to have a thing Yea Forums can say that we made for once
We've had whole lineages of the Universal Monsters (and Abbott & Costello) and a big debate over whether the Blob could beat The Thing.
Ooh, like that a lot, sort of like a nonpowered universe, Freddy’s just a regular killer, Jason, well we could make it so he was never resurrected? Films themselves are rather iffy
Our reasoning for Horror Hosts are that they are conscripted to observe (some intervene) for various reasons, sometimes as punishment, sometimes as a way to gain power, sometimes to warn people, sometimes to corrupt.
Criteria for a Horror Host to exist in this universe is if they display a concrete reality of their own (Like origin stories, crossovers, appearances in other media in another capacity, interacting with people in the stories) or are shown to manipulate the events of the stories or tell them to people as a warning.
In one of the old threads there was two other worlds written up:
>1. Horrorverse-Real World: real-life Ed and Lorraine Warren, Amityville Horror, Ed Gein (who was the inspiration for Norman Bates, Leatherface, Buffalo Bill in Silence of the Lambs), and so on.
>2. Horrorverse Fictionalized Real World: Conjuring, Annabelle, Amityville films. I know that WNU's description for #2 really means that it's still "realistic", but since this is a Horrorverse, a Fictionalized Real World Horrorverse should probably mean the supernatural is more obvious as seen in the films, as opposed to real life where you can easily debunk stuff. I assume this may be where the "real" world of Wes Craven's New Nightmare also takes place.
I say that Fictionalized Real World is where Michael Myers stayed locked up and never escaped, etc etc.
Be Nice to have a thread stay on topic too. Make a thread if you wana talk about it so bad
Eh, some problems have been had, regarding what should and shouldn’t be added and it’s a little hard to keep track without the past threads, but we’re good
The Ruins of the Horrorverse.
>Ancient cuneiform tells of a squid-headed god called Cthulhu...the same tablet also says that smashing an olive with a rock ensures pregnancy without intercourse...
>Vlad Tepes never died, but underwent dealings with the Scholomance to become a vampire....so said his political enemies and The Turks. Really, he just had his head lopped off and was buried near Castle Bran...
>Victor Frankenstein was arrested in 1795 for digging up corpses, he used his family connections to get out of it. Some still say a Monster lurks the area of Frankenstein castle though...so too at just about every castle in Switzerland-Germany inhabited by nobles who fought in the Crusades.
>Dr. Jekyll believed that the key to becoming a truly good man was to separate his evil side into it's own being, by a mixture of various salts and acids, which he then consumed and...dropped dead.
>Dr. Hawley Griffin, believing he has found the key to invisibility, consumes a mixture of bleach and a powder known as Monocaine...see above.
>Captain Elliott Spencer, traumatized by man's inhumanity to man during the Great War, turns to drugs and sadomasochism, then hears tell of a secret puzzle box, which he opens and...well, it looks nice and he manages to afford some more booze for another night by selling it, until he gets kicked into the gutters, winds up in an East End drug den, and dies from infections brought on by shitty acupuncture.
>Lawrence Talbot is bitten by a wolf on a foggy night near a gypsy camp, soon he starts drooling, gnashing his teeth and behaving violently....sadly, Welsh hospitals don't carry Rabies vaccines. R.I.P. Talbot.
>In 1945, nuclear bombs were dropped on Japan....millions of people were killed. That's about it.

>My drawing is the OP image
nice
I wanted to include Red and her family from Us starting with the fourth section as Adelaide is already on there but Twitter only allowed 4 images at the time so I had to cut them briefly
There are some characters I didn't get the chance to include and other's I outright forgot after being suggested them, it's gonna be a bit more organized with where Killers are gonna be for that
Like the only reason Amanda is on there and not Jigsaw first is because I play her a lot on DBD
Speaking of DBD I'll have them all included together in their own section
I really wanted to add some like Pumpkin hed and the little green Leprechaun but forgot about them
Ooh yeah, loved Us, think we could include it?
Fuck, these are good,
>The tethers killed their UnTethers and started holding hands
>Tethers aren't anything special and are just as durable as humans as our protags managed to defeat their own pretty easily save for Adelaide
>They started holding hands in the middle of the streets to unify their kind
I think it's safe to say that this would be a brief moment of chaos before the Tethers were killed off for being easy to identify and rather dumb.
It didn't take Jason long to realize he could control the body movements of his Tether and that's what helped him kill his Tether
Eh, esse, es no way to talk about Lucas like that. He sell picture of fish-man for just $300 now. If you buy him round of Tequila, he also tell you about time his American cousin who is Sherriff in New Mexico saw giant tarantula and 50ft Woman...
Nonpowered universe to me would be like the Punisher MAX universe, where there's still a little suspension of disbelief but on the whole there are no obvious supernatural, superpowers, etc. So there's no Freddy Krueger terrorizing people in their dreams, but it's possible Halloween 1978 and maybe Halloween 2018 happened.
This idea has potential.
Damn, if they did it for every human being, there’s be like a Jason Voorhees Tethered and Michael Myers Tethered
>That theory that Myers is a Tether
All because the jumpsuits him and the Tethers wear are the same with different colors
Anyway, I don't know how much of a connection the Tethers have with their UnTethers.
They seem to move around by themselves just find until the UnTether forces them to move because they're aware of them now. UnTethers don't die once their Tethers die so we can assume that Jason Voorhees Tether was killed by Tommy Jarvis and never brought back and Myers Tether either died from gunshots or is still alive
Remember Red talking about how shitty her life was because Adelaide managed to control her throughout their life?
Adelaide had a normal child birth but Red had to have her Jason cut out of her and I think she felt it all too. So with that said I think it's safe to say that Jason and Myers Tethers died horribly and couldn't be brought back
Hmm, interesting theory, Peele did say he found Myers to be one of the best Slashers
