The least realistic part of Shazam was not the superpowered flying dudes fighting each other, but this. Who even bullies disabled kids these days? Who even looks at people bullying disabled kids and thinks "hmm, yeah, that's okay and perfectly natural"? This wouldn't ever happen in the modern PC culture, where people get their lifes destroyed for way lesser shit.

It does still happen. Just because you don’t see it happen doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.

The cripple was a liar and a dick. He was a shit head to other people. People pick on shitheads.

I thought the most unrealistic part was that they managed to encounter people committing actual crime? How rare is that?

In most areas absolutely, but while SJW and PC culture has risen in a large majority of areas, absolute sociopathy and disregard for others has risen in others without one flying fuck considering "who" their target is. With a feeling of moral superiority anything is possible. I had to be the old fuck but current boomers need to get their shit in line. Their "culture" blows.

>The least realistic part of Shazam was not the superpowered flying dudes fighting each other, but this. Who even bullies disabled kids these days? Who even looks at people bullying disabled kids and thinks "hmm, yeah, that's okay and perfectly natural"?
Dude, this happens all the time currently, middle school and high school kids are the absolute worst. You would not believe the kind of shit people say about people with disabilities behind their back, and as I'm sure you know people still make fun of gay and lesbian people brazenly.
>This wouldn't ever happen in the modern PC culture, where people get their lifes destroyed for way lesser shit.
Ahh I see now, this a "complain about SJWs" thread. Why do I even bother.

>Who even looks at people bullying disabled kids and thinks "hmm, yeah, that's okay and perfectly natural"?
not exactly 'now' but one of the most wtf scenes i've ever seen in my life was a guy kicking a crutch off another guy. laugh his ass off with his buddies and nonchalantly go to CHURCH.

>This wouldn't ever happen in the modern PC culture,

Modern culture isn't PC juat because faggots have a parade once a year and your tumblr friends sit in front of clothing stores and gamestops to protest shit nobody but you and your opposition care about.

Kids are assholes.
Kids will always BE assholes.
And a bully isn't going to be politically correct. If anything, a bully encapsulates that equality you peope spout, since they spare nobody, and treat everyone like garbage equally.

Shazam has a latent superpower where he is always at the right place (for a crime to happen) so he can prevent it.

This is canon in the comics, or at least in the newest run.

What, Seriously? The Johns run?
Where?

>e-celebs told me evil pc nazis rule the world so nobody ever bullies or says bad things

Bottom left.

Bullies are usually wary of getting expelled. They beat a cripple and beat him up in broad daylight while surrounded by a couple of dozen of witnesses. That's just unrealistic.

Literally just heard on the news yesterday people beating up an autistic homeless man.
Four black last year kidnapped and beat up another retarded kid
People are cruel--people aren't afraid of public shame anymore. In fact, thanks to lifestreaming, people REVEL in it.
I love how Reddit pretends their above it--that they're trying to shame these people with their r/trashy subreddits, but in reality, they're promoting this shit.

Nah man, people scare me. I'm wary of just about everyone.

Religious fags are the worse because they think they're morally superior, when they were kicking your teeth in a decade ago.

Middle school was a while ago, but I remember several instances of kids picking on a girl with down syndrome and another kid with a speech impediment. Children will harass anyone for being outside of their social group, let's not pretend otherwise. Just because you don't remember any specific instances doesn't mean it doesn't happen outside of your limited perspective.

You can call them copy pasted people.

Who said that? Sivana?
I think they were just joking man.

Not shown in the movie, but in the comic it was based on (John's Shazam), the bullies' father is a rich honcho whom the principal sucks up to. Having experience with similar types in my own school days, I'd say the blokes were never at risk to get expelled.

What?

I did think there was a bit of a disconnect between Shazam and Billy, but that's really hard to avoid when you have two people playing the same character. Shazam seemed much goofier, while Billy was generally always somewhat dour. Like I had a hard time imagining he'd be someone to say "get woke bro" since he never says anything like that while untransformed. But that's a minor nitpick because it was mostly done well.

For real, my old high school, had seniors tricking the special needs kids into humiliating themselves.

I think that was the magical mirror? It appears in everyday object reflections.

Was the squiggly text not a giveaway?

What kind of people bully handicapped kids? Copy pasted people. What's So difficult to figure out? They are cliches in meta storage whose settings can be adjusted and dropped into a set. For example the two boys park their car in the front of the school all by itself and walk in like young lords. They look similar and act almost like old English dukes. They don't fit in their environment at all except that they are the right age. They are wearing 80s fashions like original Cobra Kai or The Wizard with Fred Savage.
Get me a production team before you come back.

People can be real assholes sometimes, they’ll see someone with a disability and find a way to get a laugh out of it

>This wouldn't ever happen in the modern PC culture, where people get their lifes destroyed for way lesser shit.
Yeah imagine if someone ran for president and said he molests women casually.

>Bullies are usually wary of getting expelled

No they aren't.

Stop relating the media with real life, dingus.

How does what you're saying disagree against these people being copy pasted?

why else would I watch it? I'm no faggot escapist

The same people who kick puppies.
>Who even bullies disabled kids these days? Who even looks at people bullying disabled kids and thinks "hmm, yeah, that's okay and perfectly natural"?

The same people who kick puppies.

Puppies grow up into vicious human-hunting predators. Disabled people don't hurt anyone.
>The same people who kick puppies.

no it doesn't, Johnsfag stop lying

You lived in a black neighborhood then because people who harass others tend to ensure they do so outside the site of authority, especially if they have an appearance to maintain

As someone who graduated from high school almost 4 years ago my experience with bullying is pretty much this.

Overt bullying is harder to get away with nowadays so bullies have adapted by going for the "friendly" approach. They'll approach and act nice only so that they can set you up to do embarrassing things and make fun of you behind your back.

If they fail to get you to befriend them then they'll still continue to be friendly because they know you don't like them and them presenting themselves as friend will only annoy you.

An example of this from when I was a kid was when one girl constantly insisted that she was my girlfriend even though she was pretty much one of the school sluts and absolutely not my type.

user... do you not watch the news?

Children are fucking assholes, user.

Bullying the handicapped wasn't tolerated in the 90s and it's not tolerated now. People saying it's something that has stopped only recently because of the PC culture are trying to attribute basic human decency to their authoritarian regime. Only gypsies do that.
