Fucking kill them
All their movies were horse shit except ice age 1 and rio 1 and robots if you like innuendos

It'll become their direct-to-video-sequel studio.

Are they still making this movie?

Robots looked really nice though

wait, so Disney owns film rights to peanuts now?

that has possibilities

>30 years
What the fuck did they do prior to Ice Age?

At the very least the 3 projects they are working on will be finished and released like planned
After that, who knows. I’d say it’s likely they start making stuff for Disney+, franchise based or not. It’s too “low brow” in my opinion to continue releasing theater films especially if that takes away from Disney and Pixar

Blue Sky's "Spies in Disguise" was on their 2019 film lineup

Fuck, I forgot the pic. Are they still doing this?

>Nicktoons CG blob logo
>The roaches in Joe's Apartment
>Oscar-winning short bunny

Just the one movie

they killed fox 2000 for no reason at all
blue sky is done, it doesn't even serve a unique purpose like fox searchlight
they just make animated comedies that always do worse than disney and their competitors

Reminder that Horton Hears A Who was the only good Dr. Seuss movie, AND the only one not made by Universal. Coincidence?
Yeah, probably.

The Cat in the Hat is completely disrespectful to the source material but it's fucking hilarious

The Peanuts Movie was pretty good

>pure shit
the only thing worth saving there is Peanuts.

I'm curious on what they would do with Blue Sky. Disney has Walt Disney Animation and PIXAR, I wonder what they'll use the studio for. Use the studio to make animated movies aimed at teens to adult? They just can't simply kill them off, or maybe they can. idk.

My guess is that the'll end up selling Blue Sky to a different company.

They did some commission work during 1988 to 1997 before they made they're first original animated short in house. Most of their early works were TV adverts such as an old razor commercial, some Chrysler ad, the first CG M&M commercials, that Nicktoons blob morph bumper from 1993 and special effects for several movies.

>They just can't simply kill them off
oh yes they can
but I suppose if Nimona does well they just might make them the goto teen/young adult animated feature studio
part of the reason why the Fox buyout was allowed was that Fox and Disney made drastically different content

They might put Bluesky to work on direct to Disney+ movies actually
or do animated series in vain of Netflix Dreamworks series

I agree.

Peanuts wasn't bad

That's what I've been hearing, anyway. Lord knows if plans will change or not.

>Use the studio to make animated movies aimed at teens to adult?
That's the most wishful thinking I've seen in a while.

>tfw we’re never gonna get another Peanuts movie

Kill them off and put all their animators out of work.

the best part of that movie was the cupkakinator bit.

I heard that an Ice Age TV series was already in the works.
