Mina of course seems at least in my opinion what they may try to go with, and that would be fine enough I guess. I just don't think she has the makings of a final antag.

I think it would have been better if instead of turning into a baby, the blast simply returned Meteora to her senses, so she escaped and had organized a rebellion of monsters as the plot of season 4. So there would be "good" monsters who sided with Star's promises of equality with the Mewmen, and "bad" monsters who sided with Meteora's promise of superiority over the Mewmen. I think it'd be a nice little parallel with past events, like how Comet and the Archduke of monsters vied for peace, while Toffee waged for war.

But since those are side characters who don't actually appear in most episodes, they cant just ignore it most of the time and hope nobody notices how bad it is. I mean, Star and Tom have been "dating" for nearly half the series now, yet we've not once seen them go on an actual date. They probably realized they couldn't get away with doing that if the two main characters were dating each other, and that's why it hasn't happened yet.

Mina looks like she'll be the final enemy she's apparently using extremely powerful spells that got the MHC's attention, one of Eclipsa's spell got lose and threatened to destroy the universe and it was definitely hinting at something more sinister, Eclipsa is winning over people. Jantom doesn't look like it's gonna happen, Tom doesn't have a life outside of his relationship with Star.

Not really. Well there was a shot that felt like it was foreshadowing his relationship with star but I might have been reading too much into things. There was also a gag with terrible Tasting donuts Star was hiding that she hated but Tom found delicious. They keep driving home the point that Star and Tom have increasingly little in common and have different tastes in things.

Star was stuck to her phone the whole episode and seemed uncharacteristically bratty.

I know it's not the same thing, my complaint is that it's not entirely Eclipsa's spell, it's a spell that was theorized by Solaria, and therefore the spell should have had a thematic design for Solaria as its base, with Eclipsa's flourishes as an extra touch. There's so many unique things the show accomplished thematically in the first two seasons it's physically paining me to see this level of apathy towards their project. They're just phoning things in.

If Eclipsa had used the Darkest / Nameless Spell, Meteora would not exist. That's the end of it. Black Velvet Inferno is what we saw on the screen in its entirety, and it's only because of bullshit she got de-aged instead of incinerated.

Since Eclipsa was crying over having killed her daughter and surprised when she heard baby Meteora crying, I would guess that nobody in universe has any idea why Meteora was reverted to infancy rather than killed by Black Velvet Inferno. Well nobody except Glossaryck since he apparently knows everything.

Maybe Glossaryck will even feel like revealing it, and it'll have something to do with why he's so intent on training Meteora to "dip down" while she's still an infant.
