Plot of the upcoming Phineas and Ferb movie

Phineas and Ferb set out across the galaxy to rescue Candace, who has been abducted by aliens and has found utopia on a far-off planet, free of pesky little brothers.

Except that Candace was never abducted on that occasion.

Milo last episode is about space. The movie starts where Milo ends.

Didn't this show die?

One of the announcements said that most of the voice cast would be returning; considering that none of the majors are dead and most of them really seemed to enjoy working on the show, I wonder if some of them were recast or just not appearing because of scheduling conflicts.

Disney wanted the show to keep going and even offered to left them keep on as just a series of specials. After trying a mix of that in the last season, they decided to move on to Milo Murphy's Law.

Disney apparently never gave up on getting more of the show though.

It is possible that Disney has ordered to put Doof in MML.

Considering that was the first real promotion any MML episode got and was entirely centered around Doof, that seems likely.

I really don't know why they didn't go for Doof 101 to begin with.

I hope they do good on this. Writing as good as Phineas and Ferb could have.

Maybe they do something that particularly gets her goat at the start.

But they have a pet platypus, not a goat.

Maybe they'll do that next.
Even the OWCA Files feels like a test pilot, and Doofensmirtz was in that as a main character.
I don't hate Doof at all, but I wish he wasn't in MML. That show should stand on it's own merit.

It does not bother me that Doof is in MML, but it bothers me that he has priority over Milo's own characters.
