Yes

Is it ironic that Comic Book Guy's eventual wife does actually like comic books?

Is that supposed to be Lurleen?

I always thought it was that exotic dancer, Queen Karmisha or something.

I thought it was Mindy but now that I look more closely, of course it's not

>the Simpsons comic had a story by Garth Ennis

It's princesa kashmir, from when Bart gets a mini cam and takes a picture of Homer dancing with her and becomes a big deal. Also Pic semi related/reminder

Yeah I do? Why’s it matter?

This episode pisses me off.

Shut up, Boco

Yes sir...

are you a scientologist Boco?

Fuck no.

Why, Boco?

Sneed

Because even if its a parody, its still about Scientology. Cults piss me off.

I’m pretty sure that somebody who likes comic books marrying somebody who also likes comic books would be the opposite of irony.

This episode was a good final hurray for David Mirkin as showrunner. It accumulated his anti-sitcom/anti-establishment humor that he brought onto the show.

I've been trying to think of a good distinction between Mirkin's JerkAss Homer and Mike Scully's The best I can offer is that Mirkin's Homer is more cartoony/naive about it, while Scully's Homer is actually aware of himself as a jackass and is proud of it.

I can't believe they actually had Dr. Hibbert cuck Kirk

Her facial features match up with that of Lurleen's. The color department probably just accidentally made her hair red.
