Part of the reason is Berganza got MeTooed and they put in one of Didio's proteges in charge of the superbooks. It doesn't help that Dan doesn't like Rebirth and was engineering to get rid of it as soon as it happened. Tomasi is never coming back.

I’m going to drop Superman and DC comics until Bendis is off the book. It seems to get worse with every issue.
