Aside from that, I liked the concept of the show, the design of Shezow, I thought it had interesting ways to develop the concept like the side effects, and I liked how corny the puns were.

I think what really sank Shezow was the Hub turning into Discovery Family, Shezow was just one of many cartoons like Dan Vs that didn't survive the transition into a new channel that wanted to fill the airtime with dirt cheap reality show trash.

I vaguely recall a picture where some Hub exec or other bigwig even cosplayed as Shezow, and I don't think someone would do that unless they legitimately liked the show or maybe he just wanted an excuse to crossdress who knows?
