Too pussy to put Song of the South eh?

Of course, you can't show the kind of racism in that film in 2019, like black and white people getting along.

Did Dan Castellaneta record this in his garage?

>Incredible dr pol
What the hell Disney?

REMINDER YOU COULD STREAM EVERY SIMPSONS EPISODE FOR FREE FOR YEARS AND NOW THEY WILL CHARGE YOU

pls

Wait, why did they buy FOX then? I thought it was because they wanted variety for their streaming service but it seems like all they are gonna do are some Avatar sequels, MCU X-Men and putting The Simpsons on Disney Plus.

will they have Gargoyles and American Dragon?

They're putting a all of the appropriate Fox movies and such on D+, and the rest on Hulu.

Poor guy is going to get memed and he won’t know what hit him

So.....lets talk piracy strategies

Really the only thing that could stand against this and not be totally BTFO is if WB was able to get everything it ever had together. But faggots like Cartoon Network would fuck it all up. WB has always been more fractured than Disney

>>The Scarlett Witch and Vision series starring Elizbeth Olsen and Paul Bettany will be called WandaVision.
>>Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan will team for a series titled Falcon and Winter Soldier.
PLEASE DONT KILL STEVE

Frankly, I'd rather have a live action Spider-Man TV show, and give Wanda her own film
I thought they wanted new characters and female leads? Wanda is the most interesting female Avenger thus far by a wide margin

>That episode where dr pol castrated a goat and a black man
Seriously Disney?

I didn't watch the event, but I just read this from the Verge article.
>All Disney+ content will be available for offline download
If this is true for the $7 tier, I will actually buy it.

>You're full of shit and you know it
okay i do go see marvel movies, yes, but I would prefer to delay Disneys monopoly of the planet for as long as possible.
I'll keep paying for netflix and hulu, everything else can fuck off

Can't have another female be more interesting than Captain Marvel

>>All Disney+ content will be available for offline download
what the hell would be preventing people from just uploading the fucking copies on the web?

They're keeping it close to their chest clearly...

They're pulling simpsons off the fox app?

Wait for someone else to rip everything day one, like what always happens.
New episode of Doom Patrol tomorrow, and I don't have the shitty DC app, yet I always stay on top of it because someone always uploads it about an hour after it drops.
Such shall be the same for this, and hopefully we don't get pic related.

Attached: 1447109675754.jpg (851x477, 80K)

>hulu
oh boy wait til you find out who owns hulu

they own hulu

Netflix offers that too (though not for every show). People who are going to upload it would do it regardless if downloading was allowed, so it really doesn't make a difference.

>I'll keep paying for hulu
Then Disney is getting your money dipshit

It's almost disgusting how pathetic the Simpsons writers are, they're borderline literal cuckolds.
They act so fucking desperate to be seen as trendy and cool, like a fucking boomer past his prime

>spend $60 for a year
or
>spend time every week downloading and managing the files for whatever show I want to watch
Seems like a pretty easy choice to make.

whats gonna happen to Hulu?
are they just gonna have it be ABC shows only?
or are they taking away everything?

Which makes them a perfect fit for Disney

That's actually fucking based.

They only own a PORTION of hul--
oh
fuck

Disney only owns 60% of Hulu. They mentioned something about Hulu's board of directors during the Q&A.

Will we ever have another Banksy directed couch gag?

I actually pre-paid for the DC app thinking it would have more content and all the new comics each wednesday

i have been extremely disappointed although Doom Patrol and Young Justice have been great so far

That’s not funny. Dr pol a good man. If you don’t stop. People will photoshop in Holocaust photos.

>no Jetix
I sleep

>No commercial Hulu plan: $11.99
>Disney owns 60%: $7.19
>Disney+ cost: $6.99
Kek, you give Disney even MORE money if you subscribe to Hulu.

>Doesn't line up with the butt of the gun
boo

>The Scarlett Witch and Vision series starring Elizbeth Olsen and Paul Bettany will be called WandaVision.

Im kinda hyped for this. Olsen was a good pick for SW but she debuted in the second worst marvel movie.

Why do I feel like you actually want this to happen?

>Disney+ will allow downloading so that all shows and movies on the service can be accessed offline.

This alone is enough for me to get this on day 1.

it's also fan made

>I actually pre-paid for the DC app because I'm a fucking moron
People had been saying for months before it even went online that it would be shit and lacking in content so you only have yourself to blame

This probably won't happen, but I would like them to put up those mickey shorts from the '30s and '40s that Walt worked on.

Why would anyone want to smear a good name of a veterinarian like dr pol?

>DC Universe
You guys know it's just a testing ground for the Warner Bros streaming service, right?

>I-it's not really a streaming service I-it's just a test run for Warnermedia's flop service
Sure it is dipshit

Were crunchyroll, Filmstruck, and Dramafever "testing grounds" too? Is HBOgo? What about Boomerang?

That's the impression I got when they announced it. WB needs to get a move on.

So is the Disney Vault dead? Or are they going to pull the magic carpet from underneath us, yell psych, & suddenly make a bunch of the classics disappear & put up a bunch of other classics?

WB never gets a move on

They just wait until Based Disney does it with massive success then they put out their vastly inferior and much more incompetent knockoff

Netflix already does this with their app. It's not like you're getting a avi file for personal keeping.

They mention anything about all their older animated series or shorts?

Yeah, they pretty much implied the Vault is donezo. If it isn't there already on D+, it'll eventually be and stay there as long as the platform exists.

>No Home Alone 1 & 2
>No MJ episode
>No Gargoyles
No thanks.

>people are so desperate to shit on Disney+ they're pretending that they care about Home Alone 1 and 2
Reach harder

It really is sad

>pretending to like Home Alone 3
yikes

Where the FUCK is Freddy Got Fingered?

>that picture of Rupert Murdoch
fuck me

just one gun, just one fox...

>this is what he got from my post
I don't give a shit about Home Alone 3. I also really like HA1&2. But anyone who pretends like they're dealmakers for a streaming service is fucking retarded. You probably hadn't even thought of those movies in 10 years before today.

He's had a show on TV for years now and hardly anyone has memed him.

that doesn't explain gargoyles and the simpsons episode

I wonder if they'll put Fireball in there an invest in turning that into an actual series.

Did they really specify that? It doesn't seem to have clarified if everything on Disney+ stays on Disney+.

>only SOME of the Walt Disney Animated Features canon
>no mention of Golden Age theatrical shorts
There were only two things I wanted. Fuck you, Disney Plus.

If that happens expect it to be cherry picked as hell.

so whats the point in paying for cable tv these days when shows are starting to become digital exclusive?

I feel like that was the joke though?
Homer being pathetic and groveling at their new "Disney Overlords" as Bart defiantly refuses to put on the mouse ears

>Winter Soldier series
>But it's not about Steve and Bucky

Attached: m.jpg (531x354, 55K)

That’s why this is being made
They know tv is dying, so they are trying to move to streaming to keep their media content outside theaters alive. It’s top priority at Disney for a reason

Hey Disney, can you hurry up?
I want Netflix to die already

Attached: b383a1baead96fbb18a19b0de43fc324527833ef.png (499x599, 140K)

This.
They already have most of the movies, why the fuck are the rest not there? More importantly, why is Chicken Little there over almost anything else that isn't?

>The Scarlett Witch and Vision series starring Elizbeth Olsen and Paul Bettany will be called WandaVision.

Attached: wanda.gif (245x315, 734K)

Why is Lisa so quiet? Shouldn't she be concerned about the corporation that keeps rewriting copyright laws keeps getting bigger and further increasing their monopoly?

You make it sound like Zombie Simpsons has the balls to say that.

I'm excited for this movie. Also the ending of endgame will inevitably open up the possibility for mutants. I hope they tie her character up with that.

How well do you guys think the new MCU shows will do? Feigie at the helm gives me comfort, but I'm really concerned about the CGI. Hope they don't fuck it up.

Is this just "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" but from the guy who made "Pearls Before Swine"? The cover alone is giving me those vibes.

I kinda want it to be more self contained honestly, all these crossovers are starting to lose their luster, to the point where it's becoming too much like the actual comics.

Was there any word on the number of episodes?

We've had this shit in the UK for years, don't know why people are making such a big deal.

I don't think they're gonna have anywhere near movie-level budgets, but a lot more than the average TV show. Honestly, unless they're gonna do some crazy shit with Scarlet Witch, it should be good.

no one cares about the UK

>wanting Disney to have more of a monopoly than they already do.

Attached: 1527686387435.jpg (837x1024, 179K)

Yup. Pirating it is.

Apparently the shows are 6 episodes with a 100mil budget each. They've picked shows that don't need much CGI so they should be alright.

>should be good
>nowhere near movie-level budgets

I'm glad this thing exists because I've been boycotting shitty Disney Marvel and Star Wars and this just takes them away from everything and puts them in a nice little corner so they're not suggested to me all the time anymore.

Disney seems to think it's shit is so good it can just have it's own service, it's not going to do them any better.

>The Mandalorian
Please tell me this its a adaptation of Darth Vader and the cry of shadows

Nope, the Rogue One prequel is a different show.

FUCK

>They act so fucking desperate to be seen as trendy and cool, like a fucking boomer past his prime
That's literally what they are.
Last year at Momocon, one of the writers talked about how Seth McFarlane was scarred for years after narrowly avoiding 9/11 and made a crack about how it would have made their jobs easier.

Most of the room didn't care for that joke.

fucking filter stop changing my cursing

I thought New Warriors was going to end up on Disney+. I guess this confirms that its dead.

Attached: 1525455664502.png (705x1026, 403K)

Based.

Two different shows coming, the Mandalorian is coming on launch day with the Rouge One prequel coming sometime in the near future.

I don't know what they're thinking with that. Everything else sounds good but was anyone looking for a prequel to a prequel about one guy 95% of the audience can't remember the name of?

Iwanttobelieve.jpg

Attached: images (3).jpg (339x499, 38K)

He awkwardly stumbled through the joke after the long setup about how much it fucked up Seth. It played as a pathetic attempt to be "edgy" without being rude, which just makes you come off as a coward and a dick.

It already is fuckface. And I hate Netflix even more

this shit finna bomb

>And I hate Netflix even more
Why? At least they mostly make original content. And now that Disney is leaving they won't have capeshit.

Attached: AYY LMAO.webm (702x1280, 1.33M)

I was hoping you pulling this out of your ass, to be honest

the adventures of the alan tudyk robit would've been great, but noooo

>At least they mostly make original content.
No they fucking don't, they steal content made by other companies and distribute it, while also taking all the credit.

Attached: hqdefault (17).jpg (480x360, 14K)

>implying anyone cares about Netflix original content
Nobody even talks about that shit here

>ANOTHER fucking streaming service I have to subscribe to

Amazon
Netflix
Hulu
Crunchyroll
Disney+
Twitch

When does it end bros?

Attached: 1492565800120.jpg (516x604, 27K)

Disney+ and Hulu will be bundled.

Also
>Twitch

That's literally the original purpose of Netflix. It started out as just a way to distribute movies and shit easily for people too lazy to go to Hollywood Video or Blockbuster. Then they moved to streaming because that was even more convenient. Then all the companies realized "Holy shit, this streaming stuff is making a shit ton of money! We want in on this!" Now Netflix is moving away from selling other people stuff and making their own. Most of it is a miss but that's because Netflix is hurrying to build up their own original library. But hey, at least they're not making capeshit anymore.

Attached: 1487325014597.jpg (560x560, 34K)

>When does it end bros?
When it becomes exactly like TV and we have to go full circle.

>subscribing to streaming services
>Not pirating

Attached: 1471671673872.gif (480x238, 415K)

When you drop all that gay shit and just torrent everything.

It doesn't.
You thought you could outsmart cable but they found ways to bring you back.

The wires may of changed, but you're still their bitch.

And now, they're killing physical media because dumbfucks are under the illusion they "own" anything.

Attached: 1535759242373.png (500x384, 263K)

Correct, but they're so scummy and half-assed about it. "Netflix Originals" are nothing of the sort and they're basically taking credit for other people's hard work, and they can't even do that right because they're buying the rights to fucking everything regardless of quality and companies are treating it as a dumping ground.

They're also fucking horrible at advertising their shit, often having it be buried most of the time and don't even leave people with notice or time to be excited for anything. Netflix deserves to get their shit kicked in by Disney because they've become too full of themselves by being basically the only game in town and jerked themselves off because of it, nobody else could touch them and they knew it but now someone can push them off of that pedestal and I hope that fall hurts.

Attached: 1541896349556.png (640x558, 71K)

It depends how valuable your time is. Which is why it’s funny people brag about pirating, because by admitting their time spent worrying about torrenting is less valuable than the legal price, they’re basically admitting to being poorfags.

VRV makes it a lot easier
the DC streaming service should join it

>Those mental gymnastics to justify being a paycuck
OOF

What if the Simpson are good again but you have to pay for it?

>Disney+ and Hulu will be bundled.
Well shit, I guess I already own it

Attached: 1533745026263.jpg (480x480, 26K)

>he doesn't understand how production works
Lots of TV shows aren't made by the channel that airs them. But they pay them for it.

JUST TAKE IT
TAKE IT TAKE IT TAKE IT TAKE IT

TAKE IT

Fun fact: unless you are applying for a government job that requires a security clearance, the US government doesn't give a shit about piracy (at least most of the time).

You're basically hoping that a lesser evil gets taken over by a greater evil though. And Disney is absolutely the greater evil.

Attached: 1469144767337.jpg (1920x1080, 149K)

>Disney+ is $60 a year
If I spend literally anything more than 3 hours on pirating the Disney shows, it's not worth it. And I don't even make that much.

Sorry that I value my time more than you do.

And yes, I realize the irony of saying that while posting on Yea Forums, but I can stream Netflix or anything else while I browse the internet

Needs Wundagore and Chthon shenanigans.

yes

So what is everyone expecting to be announced for the second set of new content for the platform.

I'm guessing some new Cartoons relaunching their existing ones (hopefully with a better animation team), an X-Men cartoon, and a series following some lesser character maybe Howard the Duck or Hit-Monkey.

Three Caballeros
Oswald Anything
More news on the Phineas and Ferb movie
Old shows like House of mouse and Dave the barbarian coming.

Neither do you apparently

They typically aren't touted as "originals" in those cases user, the ones that are owned by the production companies that the channel owns. Granted there are other companies involved most of the time, but by and large it's created by its parent company

>Twitch

Wow. Are you gay or something?

Attached: klucr6Bq_400x400.jpg (400x400, 23K)

speaking of animu, i doubt we will see any series on disneyflix for a few years since the audience of this looks like normies.

good thing i will keep my netflix account.

There is no "lesser evil" user, just various different evils wanting to get ahead of the other.

You can't fight it. The best you can do is pick the side that will hurt you the least.

Attached: 1543035735364.jpg (571x547, 29K)

why do you need twitch anyways? other than watch fags playing vidya.

>torrents are $0 a year
user, most 20 min episodes barely take ten minutes to download, 40 min take 30 min.

Doing that once a week is hardly a chore

Attached: 1542744136650.png (763x424, 22K)

> Wanda and Vision are both CG intensive characters, though.

Also, Jac "Captain Marvel" Shaeffer is the showrunner. She might fuck it up.

That's what a lesser evil is, you dipshit.

>Watching animu on Shillflix
You disgust me

>2019
>Torrenting instead of streaming with an adblocker

Not really. Not when you look at the bigger picture.

>You can't fight it. The best you can do is pick the side that will hurt you the least.
That's the definition of a lesser evil.

only because it was a front picture.

you're right, i know it was a retail therapy moment

That's literally what lesser evil means, the one that hurts you less.
Holy shit you're stupid.

Except not in this case, because the "lesser evil" is not in fact lesser when compared to each other.

What hurts you less is irrelevant and a matter of opinion, but the fact of the matter is Netflix and Disney are both massive companies who want to have a stranglehold on the streaming game.

There is no lesser evil, because either way you're stuck with a soulless corporation wanting all your money and nobody being able to do a goddamn thing about it.

There is no lesser evil, because ultimately neither is lesser.

If neither is lesser then why are you hoping for Disney to win? You clearly believe that Disney is the lesser evil here.

Attached: 1540751650006.gif (550x550, 305K)

>And finally, there is "What If..." This may be Feige's most intriguing reveal. "What If..." is Marvel Studios first animated series and each episode will "explore a pivotal moment from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and turn it on its head," according to Disney. Feige said that one of the episodes reimagines what would have happened if Steve Rogers never became Captain America. It's set to premiere in year one, according to Disney.

Animated Peggy Carter Captain America fuck yes

It's less "go with the lesser evil" and more "the enemy of my enemy is my friend"
It's not that I want Disney to win, but I want Netflix to lose

What can be considered lesser on a personal level is subjective, but ultimately one will claim the top and that's not a good thing now matter how you slice it.

Attached: 1533486245467.png (540x549, 357K)

It's actually $70 a year + tax probably or $7 a month. That's actually not bad when most new games cost $60.

That's fucking retarded, m8.

Attached: 1468028642486.png (238x238, 78K)

Howard the Duck and Hit Mobkey are confirmed for Hulu

I could see the Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur show ending up on plus, tho

Wasting your money for streaming movies is one thing but for twitch? That’s a shit waste of money.

Make peace with your god user
This is our future now

So what happens to Simpsons on FXX?

>It's not that I want Disney to win, but I want Netflix to lose
Are you 12 years old?

Oh and I suppose you're mature and level headed about this huh?

It'll probably stick around as long as the channel exists.

Seriously. A million Netflixes would be better than Disney.

>Falcon and Winter Soldier
So they're basically going to drop everything about what Falcon does outside of costume and all of WS' backstory right?
Because if they're doing Disney+ tv shows it has to be villain of the week bullshit aimed at the littlest kids, otherwise it'd be on Hulu, right?

Welp. If every single season is on there I guess it might be worth using.

>Yet TUBI is 100% free and has a better selection than paid streaming services like CBS all access and DC universe
Tubi is Underrated as hell. You don’t even need a account to watch shows and movies. Tubi even has all the puppet master movies. The only trade off is one 2 to 3 minutes of Honda car ads before starting a movie or a new episode. Which is nothing.

It's gonna be DRM bullshit that can only be accessed by the app. It's not really a plus since you'll have to re-record it just like any streaming only service if you want to burn it to DVD or keep it as an mpeg file or whatever.

Attached: Dr. ⁄pol ⁄.png (1000x563, 917K)

Poor bastard

>Tubi
I had never heard of it, so I checked it out. The movie selection is actually surprisingly solid, but there's not shit for TV shows. Not a single relevant show in the mix.

What's the list of animated TV shows on day 1?

Why hasn't Disney re-released the theatrical cuts of the Star Wars trilogy yet?

some of these shows are absolute garbage commercials for Disney parks. They don't have any new ideas and are desperately trying to come up with content. It makes perfect sense the Simpsons are on here.

And am I the only one who is pissed The Lion King II or 1 1/2 isn't going to be on here?

>but there's not shit for TV shows.
You are not looking hard enough. Tubi specializes in weird cult shows like puppets who murder.

Kind of the thing.

All you need nowaday

Theoretically all you need is
>Disney+ (for family stuff)
>Crunchyroll (just go with it)
>Netflix and/or hulu (for generalized stuff)

So do you think the netflix shows are going to stay on netflix? Or is disney gonna just wave their magic wand and get them on their stream?

They'll most likely move to hulu. That'll be Disney's hub for more adult oriented content, looks like.

>Amazon
I just use my prime for free shipping.

Netflix has canceled all of them. But contract with Netflix still has a few years before anything can be done with them.

None of these people look half as charismatic as the old cast

So wait, will it include EVERYTHING that Disney produced or is it only just the random shows and movies they cherry pick to include in it?

Fox owned them, now Disney does. People are going to come to the service already to start. Putting out the original trilogy 6-12 months later will be a nice promotion to drive more people to the service.

Wouldn't be surprised to see them day one though, just not announced yet.

I'm sure there's some hidden gems and cult classics, but I'm talking about things that will actually draw people.
Don't get me wrong, it's cool for a free service, but it's hardly a replacement.

They stated the former, but most likely the latter where they can take out Song of the South and other shows and series they haven't touched in decades

Just wait until them bundle them all in one convenient package...just like cable

They already announced that all 10 star wars movies are available day one.

but we all know they'll never do a theatrical cut

Not R-Rated stuff, that is most likely going to Hulu. So it won't have Deadpool but it'll have that PG-13 cut of Deadpool 2.

Makes sense, in that case they are going to milk whatever they can before they drop the theatrical cuts.

>have to
You don't have to do shit, you can literally find all of this shit for free by looking hard enough

I'm 90% sure there's a mega of every relevant simpsons season up right now

>>Other films set to debut on Disney+ including [...] Disney’s live-action remake of Lady and the Tramp

Wait, seriously? Do they think that lowly of the original film that the inevitable live-action remake is being sent straight to VOD?

We should be getting the second one. Remember they are finally finishing season 6.

There's something extremely fucking fishy about this shit. Something about it is just off, I just have that weird feeling in the back of my mind that something is going on. I'm avoiding this shit like the plague

People keep saying this retarded shit, but you don't understand how cable worked.

With cable it was
>Package A
Basic channels
>Package B
Everything in package A + more channels
>Package C
Everything in package B + more channels

There was no way to just get channels 2 and 5 and 37. You could either get an entire package or none of it.

Now you have
>Hulu
>Netflix
>Amazon
>Disney
>HBO
>etc
and you can pick whichever ones you want. None of them force you to buy another one just to get the shows you want. If you want them all, then by all means - go for it. But almost nobody wants or needs them all.

What about it could possibly be fishy for you to avoid it?

>too good to be true
Then just cancel as soon as it changes.
>they'll stop making good content
Then just cancel as soon as it changes.
>the price will go up
Then just cancel as soon as it changes.

I fail to see the problem.

I doubt they'll put Genndy wars on it. It's not canon and even Lucasfilm stopped caring about it as soon as TCW came out 11 years ago.

Deny it all you want, but it's gonna happen
They aren't going to keep charging 7 to 10 bucks for this shit. The price will go up and then they will bundle the shit just like cable

Kind of a shame. I always tend to go with Gennedy wars when I marathon the movies.

Who do you think "they" is?
Do you think that Disney and Netflix and Amazon and HBO are all just going to come together and do a big group hug and agree to solely sell their product through a bundle?

Why would any one of those four companies agree to that when they can run on their own infrastructure without sharing profits?

>Disney+ announced that all 30 seasons of “The Simpsons”
Minus one episode, of course.

Personally I feel like the problem with TV/film streaming "packages" is that you have to deal with exclusivity agreements.
Consider the war between, say, Spotify vs. Apple Music vs. Google Play Music vs. Pandora vs. Tidal vs. etc. When it comes to music streaming, there are no artists or record labels who limit their library of music to a single platform. You do not have to double dip between Apple Music and Spotify because one has one of your favorite artists and the other has your other favorite bands. You can buy into one and expect the same content you'd have received if you bought into the other. In the end, it's just a matter of personal preference.

And I think that's why gamers are up in arms about the controversies surrounding the Epic Games Store, even though buying games isn't necessarily the same as streaming. But I'm just thinking out loud; I don't have a real argument to defend yet.

I've heard of a few cable and satellite carriers that did a la carte for their more premium channels at least.

Look, let's get to the fucking point already. Are you getting Disney+ or not anons

Attached: 1532891747320.jpg (268x265, 58K)

Why are you talking about cable in past tense lol it still exists and is widely used, even if streaming has taken a bit of its market share. Even more so outside of america where the selection of streaming services is generally EVEN WORSE
>There was no way to just get channels 2 and 5 and 37
A few providers do that, it's just expensive
>None of them force you to buy another one just to get the shows you want.
The Mouse doesn't send enforcers to my house if I'm thinking about pirating Beauty and the Beast yes but the effect of this many services popping up in such a short timeframe is that the appeal of any given platform is lowered because good content gets constantly taken out to serve as the seeds to the brand new Netflix Killer(tm)

I gotta see if they bring in some of the older shorts and 3 cabs but right now it's a 65/35 in favor

As it stands now no

Yeah, for the premium channels. You've always been able to get just HBO or just Showtime (though those usually also came with Starz or Cinemax respectively). They were important enough channels to buy separately.
But if you wanted Disney Channel, you almost always have to get the "kids package" or something similar, which will also come with Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, etc. So the whole package would be an extra ~$15/mo rather than just getting Disney for $5 or $10.
Sure, it's a good deal if you actually use all the channels, but if you don't then you're just forced into channels you don't want.

The other major thing was contracts. Cable can lock you into a 12- or 24-month contract with cancellation fees if you want to back out. Not a SINGLE streaming service to my knowledge has done that. You can get Netflix, binge all of whatever new show you want, and then cancel it the next month with no consequences.

After Disney killed Star Wars and raped its corpse I will never give those Jews another red cent. The only way I will ever give them money again is if they bring out Kathleen Kennedy, tie her to a post, and beat the shit out of her.

Until then, I'm keeping my money.

>but I'm talking about things that will actually draw people.
Have you seen cbs all access outside of Star Trek STD and woke twilight zone? They have less shows than Tubi overall. don’t underestimate TUBI just yet. It’s one of the more profitable new streaming services believe it or not. It’s just needs more Advertisements and original content.

Absolutely

Well yeah, you're comparing it to the most shit streaming service out there. There's a reason I don't have CBS or DC Universe. It's not really hard to be better than those.

>Why are you talking about cable in past tense
Because the model mostly hasn't changed and now there are alternatives.

Fair point about the rest of the world, but I'm obviously talking about America here.

My overall point is that this is the a la carte system that people have been asking for for decades, yet now everyone's bitching because you can't get everything in one place for free. Obviously it's going to cost money to get this much content.

>After Disney killed Star Wars and raped its corpse
I like how people say this unironically as if they don't realize that people said the same thing word for word about Lucas 20 years ago.

I will never reward Disney

not until they genuinely impress me with some animated series exclusives,i genuinely enjoyed 3 cab but as it stands the series got screwed, the next one i know about is Monster inc at work releasing in 2020, amphibia, Bh6 s2, and owl house are all i'm really looking forward too out of disney for the rest of this year that isn't already wrapping up prod or done with prod, and that's simply not enough too get me too pay.

Can you name a better legit free streaming than Tubi. Mainstream channels and movie studios like NBC and liongate are now beginning to support tubi. TUBI tv might be a underdog. But don’t count them out just yet.

HSM
none of these people look like they're under 25

Lucas making bad movies is nowhere near what Disney has done. Star Wars survived the prequels. Disney KILLED Star Wars.

I'll just mooch off my friends like I've been doing. I might buy a bluray of their shows if I like them, assuming there are physical releases.

>Lucas making bad movies is nowhere near what Disney has done

He's also the creator. His privilege is to turn his own property into shit. Only Lucas can do this to Star Wars as it came from him. Disney isn't the creator of the franchise so their horrible decisions are less excusable.

>Look, let's get to the fucking point already. Are you getting Disney+ or not anons

No. I hate Disney. They make shit. So they don't deserve not even one cent.

>they actually don't remember people saying this about Lucas
youtube.com/watch?v=wzDIClx-_pY

>His privilege is to turn his own property into shit
Yeah you weren't saying that 20 years ago

A creator's privilege is ruining his own work. Don't pretend otherwise.

>FUCK LUCAS HE RAPED MY CHILDHOOD HE SHOULD SUFFER FOR THE SINS HE HAS COMMITTED
>a-actually it turns out it's his right to do that

Attached: jabba laugh 2.webm (1280x548, 2.83M)

I didn't even have Netflix, so I'm not going to get Disney+ either

>There’s people who won’t buy this until they stop fucking with the Caballeros show and release it
Absolutely based

Don't worry user, the guy you're replying to literally wasn't alive when the Prequels came out.

>believing this
Those anons aren't any more genuine than the ones who keep saying they're done with the MCU. They'll either buy Disney+ regardless or they'll find any excuse not to buy it and then grandstand over it like they actually care about the caballeros.

Not worth it when all I'm interested in is the Marvel shows. Maybe I'll get a free month and binge watch them all as I do with GOT on HBO (for meme purposes of course. GOT hasn't been good since season 4)

WandaVision is a dumbass name

Of course, not a word on animated series
Screw you Disney, I trusted you

You'll take your Forky spin off and love it chump. Disney+ is clearly filled with compelling original programming. Like uhhh... uhhhhhhhhhh... The Incredibles TV show that'll inevitably happen. With film quality CG.

Every season? That's good.

OP posted very little of what we saw, for example one of the first things was a Monster Inc. Animated series.
Dunno what else they showed since i went to sleep afterwards.

Open the vault or no buy.

>Incredibles TV show
>film quality CG
maybe Incredible 1 CG quality considering the budget and screentime

Goof Troop, Kim Possible, and the original Ducktales will be on the service.

>Family Guy is too raunchy for Disney+
>Simpsons somehow gets in

Why? Simpsons is not a family-friendly show by any means. It caused a shitstorm in the 90s.

>1990s

The Simpsons debuted 30 years ago, it is hardly edgy now.

Any mention of whether stuff like their 90's animated series will be on the service?
>tfw so close to finally getting decent rips for stuff like Fillmore, Aladdin and Hercules

Will there be an app for it on consoles?

Yes, already confirmed for PS4.
Disney want to release it on Switch and Xbone, but have nothing to announce yet on that front.

is only live action shit and movies i alreaday saw, hell no.

I might get it if its less than 5 bucks a month just to nostalgia trip on golden age disney for a month or two. I know itll be like 10+ though.

proof ?

Maybe if Disney could be the slightest bit adventurous. Disney would never have something like Bojack, Love death and robots, or any other kind of cartoon that wasn't comically inoffensive. The Clone Wars return might make me get it for a little bit, I admit, but only if its actually good for a couple episodes first.

Until then the only shit they got is shit I saw 30 years ago, live action marvel shows, and jack shit else.

it's cable all over again

>he doesn't think about Home Alone 1 & 2 every Christmas

Think about your life, user. Think about where you went wrong.

That's one of the worst things they could do. Let this series be a story about Wanda and Vision, not a vehicle to introduce anyone else.

If you're a total brainlet

BUY HASBRO, YOU FUCKING CUNTS
AVENGE US

Disney+ has Simpsons

I own the golden age seasons already and its not like its going to get good ever. I want them to make some new, interesting cartoons. They won't though.

What the fuck do you people think pirating is? You literally only need to type the title and make 2 clicks

>Look, let's get to the fucking point already. Are you getting Disney+ or not anons
for at least a month or two in all likelihood, past that depends on what their back catalog looks like at launch, though I've already got quite a few streaming service subscriptions;

Amazon
Netflix
Hulu
VRV*
Funimation
WWE Network

*which effectively gives me a subscription to Crunchyroll, along with Hi-Dive, Shudder, and Boomerang for free

>$7
>just got an email from netflix that they are increasing my fee to $13
Not really helping your case here, Netflix

Attached: 1535696455447.gif (500x318, 1.84M)

I need to see how their original content's quality is going to be first. Only ongoing stuff I really watch from all the shit they own is Ducktales and I already own all their movies I like enough to watch more then once, so their current library isn't really a lure to me

>Also, there will be a Hawkeye TV series about passing Clint's torch to Kate Bishop in the works according to:
>variety.com/2019/tv/news/hawkeye-series-jeremy-renner-disney-plus-1203183398/
This implies that MCU hawkeye has a torch to pass on

To be honest Netflix is already dead from a financial point of view. All they need is the bankers to stop the life support. I'm not sure they need disney to silently pass away in a matter of month.

>I have to
a slave obey

Of course, minus the Michael Jackson episode and other problematic episodes

It's super low budget. Looks like Beverly Hill Chihuahua or the 90s version of Homeward Bound.

M-must...resist...
GODDAMMIT SOMEONE WILL HAVE TO FIND A WAY TO PIRATE IT

Got any pictures?
Because if it becomes a non-CGI version of "Dumbo" where the main characters are a bunch of humans then I'm gonna facepalm because I don't actually care all that much but it'll still be a stupid decision.

>>Captain Resting Bitchface
She isn't, in the movie.

I'm pretty sure they're using RL dogs

>o yes massah microwave your shit again omonomnomnomnom o god massah is so brave

>Wait, why did they buy FOX then?
the same reason they always buy Fox.
to seal up all their IPs in a box
and shove them in the Disney vault
where they will never see the light of day ever again.

I saw some news about them putting the show on Disney+. Sadly, I lost the source.

This will actually make it easier to pirate all Disneyshit since it's all in one source and there's supposeldy going to be an offline download feature. It's going to have drm, but that will be broken and we'll have all these shows and movies at web-dl quality. You just need to hope a good group pops up and keeps things organized, and it'll be better than ever to pirate.

I'd be happy with Darth Vader: Ghost Prison

Disney+ is supposedly intended to be a replacement for the Vault system.

Anyways, Disney bought Fox because the latter wouldn't play ball and license out the X-Men. Everybody will say that's stupid but give it five to ten years and Disney will probably sell back everything BUT the X-Men to Fox.

>Twitch

>5,000 episodes of Disney Channel content and 100 Disney Channel Original Movies will stream on Disney Plus at launch.

What's getting in?

Wait a year before getting it.
Disney will have more classic shows up by then.
And if enough people ignore it, they'll either lower the price, or at least keep it low.

We are never going to see Vision, Wanda, Bucky and Falcon in the movies again right
You can't tell me they didn't just get shafted

For Disney Channel original movies that’s just about all of them maybe except a few
I think they said every Disney Channel and Disney Junior original will be there. Doesn’t disclose if that will also mean stuff from the Disney Afternoon, Disney XD, Playhouse Disney or elsewhere. Think that’s a case to case basis

>Disney bought Fox because the latter wouldn't play ball and license out the X-Men
>people still believe this
Disney bought Fox's movies and TV divisions because Rupert Murdoch wanted to sell it, Murdoch thinks enterteiment is not as profitable anymore and wants to give his children a huge inheritane after he dies, Disney just gave him the biggest bag of cash of all the companies interested in buying,
It's more believable and makes even more sense that Disney wants to hurt Netflix business so much they bought Fox to made it lose a quarter or so of their potential content than only to get some capeshit's rights.
Disney+ and new Hulu's direction whole purpose is to be Netflix killers.

>new Hulu's direction
wuzzat

Source? I think these will be available on launch day because muh server load testing

>Wait, why did they buy FOX then?

Disney has been future proofing themselves for over a decade now by buying properties that won't go out of copyright for at least thirty to forty years. This purchase also gave them a controlling interest in Hulu along with a massive film library as well as a major studio for them to release things under besides the Disney name.

d23.com/complete-guide-disney-entertainment/

The presentation yesterday mentioned that they're gonna bolster the marketing and direction of Hulu and such. Since Disney+ can't have "mature" content like we all know, they wanna make Hulu the prime location for "adults" instead of for "everyone" like D+ will be pushed as.

So outside of
>Disney+
>VRV
>Tubi

Is there anything worth it for either netflix/Hulu?

Wowser way to spoil that Steve dies

>a sampling of content
Thanks anyway

Are the rumors of an Alita TV show true?

>he hasn't downloaded all 29 previous seasons

it's ok. I only have 1-15.

>They are literally just releasing Steamboat Willie by itself
Seriously what kind of shit is this? Why not every theatrical short minus any racist ones? They are just rotting there anyway

I do really like the idea of having all the classic animated films on there and in good quality since I don't own any of them.

It shouldn't be impossible to break the DRM, but it will take a while depending on how it is implemented.
The Criterion Channel uses Microsoft PlayReady DRM to encrypt its content, for example, and so far I haven't found any evidence that it's been cracked or is crackable.

It begins...

What rumors?

>no Tangled
Reeee I need to finish season one and it’s not on Hulu anymore

I only got a screenshot of it mid transition, but here

Kim Possible, Proud Family, Tangled the series, Gravity Falls, Phineas and Ferb, and more

at what point will i be paying more for streaming services altogether than i did for cable

What is the cost of cable in States?

Wanda vision? Why not scarlet vision?

Never unless you're stupid enough to waste money on anything other than Disney+

Why don't people realize you can cancel any of them at any give time. You should only be subscribing for shows you wanna watch or upcoming ones anyways.

You’d be surprised how so insanely diehard some Disney fandoms are that they’d spend 7 a month if that franchise they are obsessed with got something
I’ve see this with different stuff involving Disney+

Oh but I care user. Disney only needs to give me a way to officially support the show and I will

What's funny is that the seasons people actually want to see dont really have much that'd cause outrage these days. It's the episodes beyond the classic era that are drowning in questionable material and might cause letters from squeamish families.

>Disney getting rid of a merchandise juggernaut like The Simpsons

bob pls

So already better than Dumbo

Okay, everything but X-Men and Simpsons. And probably whatever other big IPs Fox has.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if they begin selling off their Fox library of classic films to others over the next several years. You know, the stuff from like the 30s and 40s that wouldn't make any significant amount of money with a remake or a re-release.

>Not Cory in the house

Because idiots will think Scarlett Johansson is in it.

>unless you're stupid enough to waste money on anything other than Disney+
Eh, Vrv is also good. choice as you get stuff that won't appear on disney+

>Anime (you knowwhat I mean)
>Shudder's horror movies (went through them, not a bad selection)
>Looney Tunes. Flintstones, tom and jerry, scooby doo, etc. Of course I don't know how far back these goes.

Idiot here, can confirm. Every time I see SW I think it means Scarlett Widow

>Looney Tunes. Flintstones, tom and jerry, scooby doo, etc. Of course I don't know how far back these goes.
Will be gone by the end of the year thanks to Warner's failure service

If it's on the UK streaming service, it'll probably be on Disney+.

It's a simple service, it has every Disney movie and TV series, only really missing a few, there's no Marvel movies, no Star Wars movies, no Aladdin TV series, and no Extremely Goofy Movie, so Disney+ is gonna be huge compared to this.

You can also watch the Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior live, but that probably won't be included with Disney+, no point if the shows you want are available with no ads.

>If it's on the UK streaming service
Also available in several European and Asian countries

>Will be gone by the end of the year thanks to Warner's failure service
What service?

somebody NEEDS to tell them to change the name of that show

Exactly

I get the sense you're talking about the film and not the show good man. It's the latter we hope they'll unveil worldwide.

I think the film also got confirmed to be on for launch in a D23 blogpost above so that’s pretty nice
Just hoping for the show

Oh man, I had to look it up, I didn't know they made a show. It's not on DisneyLife UK, just the Philippines I guess?

As much as I like Boomerang, yeah. Boomerang was a niche subscription that really only people probably had because of VRV

I guess if anything, they will do a bundle like Disney+ and Hulu for like 15 a month

So far just Philippines and it aired on tv in Asia
Yea Forums fell in love with it and it has a good fanbase, but it’s so obscure due to not being released that just about no one knows about it, even here if people missed the summer threads

15 a month

I could see it. but I dont think the bundle will happen within the first year.

>steal
You fucking numpty they PAY other companies for their shit to have on ther.

This is great for everyone involved, especially smaller studios who can't pay through the nose for a larger distributor.

Fuck no. I'm actually happy Disney's going to ghettoize their content to one streaming service, though, since that means that there'll be no chance of inducting new mouse cultists anymore.

A good chunk of an entire generation can potentially grow up without any attachment to Disney and I'm fervently hoping for that result

>get free amazon prime as student
>includes streaming
>includes twitch
>get hulu free with phone bill
>fuck netflix

Disney+ might be the only thing i have to actually buy

>>Crunchyroll
>>Twitch

>having to subscribe to free streaming services

Attached: 2ldenj.jpg (640x845, 108K)

all things considered, as much as i hate disney, this is a pretty good deal
i prefer hulu a lot more to netflix but what i hated most about netflix was mostly just seeing diseny shit flooded everywhere
so what a weird space to be in

>netflix will get better content because they can't just shill Disney crap anymore
I like it.

>Amazon - you probably just bought it for 2 day shipping so barely counts
>Netflix - typically thought of as the default go to service, probably less useful to most people now since they mostly used it to watch disney and marvel stuff
>Hulu - most useful to cable cutters since it has tv shows they used to watch, now bundled with this disney thing
>HBO, Stars, or whatever steaming services. great content but it falls in line of being so niche and so little that its needless if you already have netflix and amazon
>sports steaming stuff - only good if you care about sports. i think ESPN+ will be bundled if i'm correct
>Crunchyroll, Funimation - what are you a fucikng weeb? why are you buying an anime streaming service. but Crunchyroll becomes pretty useful when you bundle it with VRV which gives you a lot of niche content
>DC Steaming - this is incredibly useless depending on who you are. it has a lot of critically acclaimed content but right now its mostly just superhero dramas. falls inline of being made for a specific audience who is probably oversaturated with services already. WB should find a way to combine it with the rest of their companies. at least if also gives you comics but most people don't really care
>WWE Network - literally the best one, what do you mean you don't already have this

This was painful to watch

>>Netflix - typically thought of as the default go to service, probably less useful to most people now since they mostly used it to watch disney and marvel stuff
I never watched Disney and Marvel stuff on Netflix.

a lot of people did or at least saw it as a big plus
so it's going to be interesting to see what netflix will do now after losing such a big chunk

How can we use D+ to show we want more 2D features? They don't have to even be in theaters now

>Paying for streaming
Nigga, Yea Forums figured this out 15 years ago

Why not just purchase for the shows you want, then cancel and if it gets another season, pick it up again?

>>WWE Network - literally the best one, what do you mean you don't already have this
Spent a year with WWE, good just for pay per view alone.

But yeah, if you don't like wrestling it doesn't do you much good.

If he never takes off the helmet, it will be kino

>When you bought a shit ton of $DIS stock the second you heard they were doing a streaming service wi

Yea Forums here. For us, Netflix is literally the devil

I'm not even aware if they have a star system, thumbs up system, or anything. I don't think any streaming company has released details on how they promote certain shows. Like Bird Box got a bunch of views, but how do they record it? What if I accidently clicked on it, does that count as I watch? What if I stopped watching it, does that count as high ratings? Do they count repeat watchings as a new ticket sale? I don't think we know anything on how it's done yet.

No Yea Forums hates crunchyroll more violently

Crunchyroll is bad but it's also the reason why we get quick sub rips from HorribleSubs even if they are of varying quality and that basically defined how people consume anime now.

Netflix on the other hand holds anime hostage until it's over and they release it at once forcing fansubbers to pick up the slack which would be okay except that fansubbers aren't always on time in a weekly format. Netflix also drank the live-action anime Kool-Aid with Death Note

Death Note was already a live action movie as far back as 2006
>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_Note_(2006_film)

Nigga you know what I'm talking about. And American live-action=!Japanese live-action

The movie was how i knew DN's story as a kid, because i was intimidated by how long the show seemed so i opted for the tl;dr version

I finally watched the animu only last year, now i don't remember the movie's details in how it alerted the story, but in the end i feel like i was kinda right about how the show overstays it's welcome

Generally everybody considers the point where L dies to be where the story reaches it's peak and it's downhill from there. That said, the Japanese movies aren't really the same story

Wait, so Lion King now falls under the Nation Geographic banner?

Attached: KH3Mickey.png (667x671, 389K)

I'm more interested in seeing a marvel animated series that doesn't suck shit

What if it's not just The Mandalorian it's THE Mandalorian and we get a Mandalore show.

Attached: MandaloreTheUltimate-SWM.jpg (180x325, 21K)

That's just a lion, dude.

No different than watching anything on Disney+ to be honest

No, people like to shit on Nettflix but Disney+ is clearly worse in every single way.

How? It's not even out yet

>What if I accidently clicked on it, does that count as I watch?
In NX case it only counts as a view if you watched 70% of it,

Is there a list of everything on it yet?

it's like Diary of a Wimpy kid but a little weirder and a little more wholesome
