Not necessarily a reboot, but the Simpson's could use a little bit of a shakeup and step out of its comfort zone. South Park has done story arcs, trilogy specials, and wrote their own stories for their games.
Simpsons just sits there floundering in its own mediocre slop, content with doing nothing new, no interesting ideas, and just being plain lazy.
Family Guys writers are unironically more creative than the Simpson's has been for 20 fucking years.
