> Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige on Thursday shared details behind WandaVision, a coming live-action Disney+ television series centered around Avengers Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany).
“We like to take big swings at Marvel Studios ... this story is definitely something unexpected and surprising, as well as something we can only do in a longform series,” Feige said.
>I hope they bring Pietro back in Endgame and he's too in it
That's a "no" on both, lad.
Cooper Garcia
IT'S HAPPENING
If they're introducing Viv, or Wiccan and Speed, they should make that a season 2 or 3 idea. Just focus on Wanda and Vision to begin with. They've had so little time in the movies.

I feel bad for them, in comics they used to be more relevant than Carol, they were classic Avengers, what went wrong?
Matthew Baker
They're kind of boring in the mcu
Lincoln Wilson
Good. Now get Marvel comics to synergize with this and get them back together all ready.
Bentley Collins
They were stuffed into other people's movies They didn't really get a chance to have people give a shit about them
Mason Nguyen
So, it's true? Vision without Ultron/Pym/Jan/Jocasta/Simon and Wanda without Pietro/Magneto/Polaris/Agatha are boring.
Owen Clark
>in comics they used to be more relevant than Carol, they were classic Avengers, what went wrong?
In comics, one writer hated them so much he destroyed Vision and broke them up. No writer that liked them together stayed around long enough to reunite them. Vision never properly recovered, until 25 years later, Tom King's Vision series was about how he was still traumatized and couldn't move on. There have been writers that liked Wanda, and tried to push her, but most of them want to push their own fanfic pairings for her instead of Vision, and after the X-books made the mistake of increasing the mutant population from thousands to millions, they used Wanda as a plot device to de-power most of them, something she has struggled to recover from, and making her hated by X-Men fans.
In the MCU, they were introduced in Phase 2, they're not part of the original Avengers cast, and never got their own movie, so they've been treated as secondary characters that get limited time on screen, and most of their development has taken place between movies.
They're also amongst the few characters to be in the MCU, yet Marvel comics don't want to push them, and have been fighting against movie synergy.

The vision Wanda scene at the beginning was the only boring part of infinity war.
Leo Lopez
Bendis shelved them for years
Justin Martin
>Vision without Ultron/Pym/Jan/Jocasta/Simon and Wanda without Pietro/Magneto/Polaris/Agatha are boring.
They could bring Ultron back in this. Vision only ever had limited interaction with Wasp or Jocasta, and MCU Vision is better off for there being no MCU Wonderman. The only loss for him is no Hank Pym.
After she left the Brotherhood, Wanda doesn't have as much interaction with Magneto as you probably think she did, and even less with Polaris. In the MCU, she's fine without being tied to mutants at all. Losing Pietro was a mistake that Endgame may be a chance to correct, and this series might introduce Agatha.
Austin Miller
I'm mixed. Scarlet Witch is cool, but Vision is pretty boring.
Blake Sanchez
This has a lot to do with it. Even when previous Avengers writers hadn't done much with them, they'd always been there, but Bendis took them off the Avengers, they were gone for over 7 years, and missed a lot of important events. The New Avengers, Civil War, The Initiative, Secret Invasion, Dark Reign. A generation of reasons knew the Young Avengers version of Vision, and only knew Wanda from Disassembled and House of M.
It's the only scene with no quips or pop-culture references, which says a lot about the people who find it boring.

Was the ever an explanation for why Edinburgh was so empty?
Lucas Torres
Everyone was too afraid of Muslims to come out at dark
Jaxson Perez
People were off the streets because an alien invasion was making international news?
Christian Perez
That wouldn't prevent everyone from being out a late hour Plus the trains were still running
Caleb Diaz
Even when all three were on the same team Vision and Wanda didn't really have much to do outside of the love triangle. At least Carol got her own arc
That run was Carol's big comeback after spending over 15 years in limbo. Just imagine, if Busiek and Perez hadn't put her on their Avengers, she could still be Binary, still be in limbo, and Marvel would have chosen someone else to push as their top heroine.

>Now get Marvel comics to synergize with this and get them back together all ready.
Marvel would probably need to fire Brevoort and Zub before that could happen. They've had years to prepare for this, and the assholes went from pushing Wanda with Wonder Man to Brother Voodoo instead, and Vision is probably going to die next week.
Kevin Stewart
Delay it until next year and call it "2020 Vision"
Ian Mitchell
>they should make that a season 2 or 3 idea. Are these shows actually going to go through seasons? I just assumed they were giving all minor characters 8 hour movies.
Brandon Clark
>>Loki >>WandaVision >>Falcon and Winter Soldier >>Hawkeye >>Rumored War Machine >>Rumored Rocket and Groot >>Rumored Gamora and Nebula
So how many characters we going through til we get a Mantis show? Like, I guess Shuri will likely get a show too...
What are your honest predictions about these new MCU shows? Will it fail or will it be a success? The one thing I'm worried about the most is the cgi. If the CGI ends up being on the level that you see on tv, then I probably won't watch any of the shows.
Nathaniel Nelson
They should do one with Wong and mystic shenanigans.
Adrian Scott
WHAT ABOUT STILT-MAN AAAAAAAHHHHHHN
Jack Green
From the people that brought you Spider-Man: Homecoming and End Game... Literally just taking random phrases from social media and then throwing them on the title. It's like machine learning and making up titles for them.
Zachary Baker
Depends on how well they do
Impossible to tell since I doubt they'll release viewership data but probably better than the Netflix shows regardless of quality
Connor Rodriguez
Flops. Disney is trying to cut down the massive MCU cast and give everyone a fair deal, the shows are just excuses not to give these people anymore more money. "Hey we cut you out of the movies for more random interpretations of characters no one asked for, here is a TV show!"
Carter Moore
Imagine being this delusional and retarded. Feige already confirmed that the MCU shows and movies will be together and characters will crossover into both.
Brody Jackson
user, remember when they said Daredevil was going to be in Age of Ultron? Imagine being this delusional and retarded.
Luke Ortiz
I predict WandaVision is a rom-com.
Nolan Williams
They knew the robot fucker was in town.
Andrew Williams
I don't think anyone at Disney said that.
Colton Bailey
They were never that important. They couldn’t carry a solo (or duo) book. On the other hand, neither can most of the X-men.
>in comics they used to be more relevant than Carol Jesus, rent free man. What the hell. It's as simple as them being uninteresting together and apart. Her solo back in 2016 sold terribly, and The Visions was successful mainly because it was treated as a complete independent story with a premier author at the time, and that was also because of trade sales and hardcover, not the actual singles. They've never been that special.
Jayden Hall
Are these series going to have the original actors, or cheaper knockoffs?
William Hernandez
The same actors. They're also going to have big budgets, the three series announced so far.
Christian Clark
I wish they had kept Wanda's chaos magic. it would have been so cool to have her trigger water spouts, call down meteors, make weapons explode etc
