Rumors are that they're gonna talk about:
>price
>release date
>If or when the Fox catalog is gonna be included
>Overall included content
Disney+ stuff will happen in 30 minutes, so there's gonna be a bit of wait.
Really mostly curious about their catalog of classic shorts. It'd be a treat to have most of them available in one place.
msavi.stream
Hoping for the Mandalorian, but the trailer will most likely drop at the celebration later this week.
>ESPN is the most trusted name in sports
Nice meme
Bob Iger gets fucked in the ass live on stage by the actual Figment The Dragon.
In the UK we have Disney Life which lets you watch all their movies and the channels live, but they don't have Marvel Studios or Star Wars movies, Song of the South and the Aladdin TV series.
I wanna know what's happening with that, it's a cheap service so I'm wondering if they're gonna upgrade it with a price raise.
Not watching it because I can’t at the moment but I’m hoping for
>News on the Muppets show
>Caballeros confirmation
>Oswald show confirmation
We will get the first actual news of Disney+ in 15 minutes.
Disney+ talk finally starts in about 20 min.
Avoiding things they've already confirmed like The Mandalorian and whatnot, the first thing I expect is a massive dump of almost all the movies and tv shows Disney has ever made. It sounds extreme, but it's a surefire way to compete with Netflix and other services on Day 1 of release with a massive library already on hand. Second thing I expect is actually new announcements for surprisingly high budget films for their platform. If Netflix can compete at the Oscars and drop high budget films whenever they please, it wouldn't be too surprising for Disney to do the same.
It'll take them a few years to actually compete starting flat against a service with over 100 million subs. Staying afloat and stabilizing after losing millions is mostly what they're looking at.
>News on the Muppets show
I don't know about a new Muppet series, but I'm hoping that they'll have the classic Muppet Show (hell, I'll even take Muppets Tonight) available to stream.
Movies will be available immediately the same time as blu-ray/digital launch.
Everything's downloadable.
>visually stunning
kek
There was a documentary series exploring the making of films through the lens of props in archives and film collections they announced yesterday that is set to include a Muppet Movie episode.
Falcon and Winter Soldier confirmed.
GOING ALL IN FOR THIS RABBIT!
>The World According to Jeff Goldblum
Nice.
show monsters inc animated designs dammit
it looks like it was designed in 2008.
Here's your live-action Lady and the Tramp remake
Excited for this to flop.
>making it easy for pirates to rip the content
based
Phineas and Ferb movie and Mickey Mouse & Friends confirmed to be on the platform.
Huh, Lady is my dog.
This is going to make so much money
Every other studio should just kill themselves at this point
They showed the shitty design for main char.
>No Simpsons
They are losing a lot of money in international countries. The movie was even rated PG in some countries due to how popular they are.
>Mickey Mouse & Friends
What kind of thing is this suppose to be that name is so generic
CONFIRMED FOR SWITCH1!1
No it wasn't they literally just said they only have Roku and PS4, use your ears fag lord
What is irrational, Alex
not like there was much to stop them before
It's Mickey's youtube cartoon series.
>and PS4
Confirmed more successful than that DC piece of shit will ever be
Wait, did he say latin america has to wait until 2021?
Any word on the Caballeros yet?
No fire devices or Apple devices? Wtf
Apple wants their own streaming service
When will this madness end
Surprising considering Netflix launched on Latin America YEARS before Western Europe.
If I had to guess, it's because Netflix will still have the rights to a lot of Disney's properties, like the MCU, Star Wars and Pixar. Netflix said their contract was longer for Latin America.
For everyone else around year 2. For Based Disney NEVER
>that lisp
is she out of breath or what?
So a non-announcement I just know it as Mickey Mouse
Warner's streaming service may last a lot as well.
Did she say Pernocchio too?
Entire signature editiona of the animated films will be include day 1.
Oh, so that's why. Yeah, they did mention it in the stream too.
Didn't ask for a ladderbro reply but I got it
No one's going to waste their money on that shit.
And WB is too incompetent to make a successful service in the first place. Their already talking about tier subscriptions and having no actual content for the first year
Not watching but is that it for announcements? Got quiet in here
on break
msavi.stream
OH SHIT IT'S HAPPENING
So what are the chances of Disney putting their old shows on this service?
Pixar's first 18 films and all of their shorts will be available at launch, Moana, Zootopia, Frozen and Big Hero 6 are also available at launch too.
Bo Peep is getting a short film.
In continuity or what?
10000%
Yes
just like all the tv shows
Yes, unlike the Netflix shows and AoS this is 100% canon and being overseen by God himself
>this is the MCU offerings at launch
What an odd selection of movies
Welp, that's a complete failure here. It's two characters nobody gives a fuck about. Especially Falcon, seeing as he's black and Yea Forums wants to murder black people.
hey, i'm black
That’s it, the character is black and /pol/ might not like that cancel Disney+
>It's two characters nobody gives a fuck about.
Yes, except for droves of fangirls.
>No Simpsons
Whats up with this, I would subscribe day one if I could get every episode right now.
Well, get out of here quick before someone here finds out!!!
Netflix and TNT probably have a few contracts that are unbreakable until their expiration date has passed.
It's same thing with the first 6 Star Wars movies. TNT has them on lock-down for another year or so.
You wasted your time accept it and move on
Is the Mandalorian TV series that Jon Favreau's doing the recycled corpse of the aborted Josh Trank SW Anthology movie or something altogether new?
Yeah, the Disney+ MCU shows are actually 100% canon to the MCU, not "kinda semi-canon but not really" like the ABC and Netflix shows.
Gonna have to hold on Hulu for that one
>IGN opinion article
Why would I care about that?
God you're fucking retarded
It's something new. Trank's movie was supposed to be a Boba Fett movie. This isn't about Fett
A) Speak for your self
B) Falcon was a great charcater who's been Cap's best friend in the modern era.
C)Those two guys are pretty funny
D)Black pussy is the white dude of pussy
>Ant-Man
Welp, that's a complete failure here. It's a character nobody gives a fuck about.
>Doctor Strange
Welp, that's a complete failure here. It's a character nobody gives a fuck about.
>Guardians of the Galaxy
Welp, that's a complete failure here. It's a bunc of characters nobody gives a fuck about.
>Captain Marvel
Welp, that's a complete failure here. It's a character nobody gives a fuck about.
Do you faggots ever get tired being wrong?
Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure, whatever you say...
Sick. Thanks senpai!
>Do you faggots ever get tired being wrong?
No dude you don't understand no one give a shit about endgame and wont be seeing it.
>Marvel Making a MCU What If? animated show
That could actually be bad ass
Pls
It could also be bad and ass
It's already losing money
>Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu may be included in a bundle at a discounted price. Disney+ and Hulu are planned to expand outside of the US in the future.
This is why Based Disney ALWAYS WINS
What, is that confirmed?
Bucky has a legion of fangirls and every Capfag has to love him by default and Falcon too
>Giving Disney praise when they are basically forcing things to become Cable TV.
KYS faggot.
Yeah, Feige just announced it at the Disney+ stream
Yes, the first episode will be "What if Peggy Carter became Captain America?".
>It's same thing with the first 6 Star Wars movies. TNT has them on lock-down for another year or so.
KK actually just announced that they'll have all 10 films on launch day.
Hey guys, we heard you're getting tired of all these different streaming services, so here's some good news! You can now purchase a bundle of streaming services at once which will be cheaper than buying separately! Remember how you used to have to buy a bundle of tv channels? Well it's like that, but now with streaming services.
If it doesn't look like Marvel's recent Disney XD cartoons, that's fantastic.
I'm actually shocked by this. I guess they bought out the remaining TNT contract time.
Loki got an official announcement already, is this the second of the Marvel shows to be officially confirmed?
If you get to pick and choose what goes into your bundle, it's not like cable whatsoever.
This is literally what people have been begging for for decades - true a la carte choices.
>Yea Forums or Yea Forums in general
>Being worth a damn
lol
Also i honestly never seen any hate for either sebastian stan or anthony mackie
"WandaVision?"
Disney Cable
Bleh
Loki
Wanda/Vision
Falcon & Winter Soldier
What If? animated show
All confirmed for first year of Disney+
I want to see the logo for that
So where exactly is the money for these expensive tv shows coming from anyways?
they failed the hashtag?
Or maybe she just took his name
what about non-marvel/pixar stuff
it's an idea that admittedly a lot of people saw coming, granted i don't have any interest due to piracy and not giving a shit about any of those services.
I don’t agree with his politics, but he’s not wrong. Hitler would have loved social media.
Wait, they're pulling the MCU movies from TV as well?
The fuck.
>maybe she just took his name
so Vision is his last name?
If it was cable, you'd have to get all three.
But you can get just one if you want just one.
It's not hard to understand.
But if Warner did it with Boomerang, DC, HBO, and Filmstruck you wouldn't say a word, would you dipshit?
This will either be a major success or be Iger’s Eurodisney
Appears so.
They are totally going for the kill with this. Disney must realize pay cable TV isn't viable anymore.
It's strange that he didn't just said that all mcu movies (except hulk) will be available at the start
Who said that?
Fun fact, in the '80s Wanda took Vision's last name but he doesn't have a last name so she just called herself Wanda.
And social media would have loved Hitler.
But all I have is cable TV ;_;
MCU is Disney's biggest money maker by a landslide
Until you buy this shit :^)
It is his only name but even his kids got "Vision" as their last name in the comics (the newer ones, not the original twins)
>Yea Forums wants to murder black people
Not sure if /pol/ or just new and confused by /pol/shitters
See regardless
based fiscally responsible user asking the really grown up questions mommys smart boy
Poor Clint.
Are they gonna dump FoX-Men, Tim Story Fantastic Four, Affleck Daredevil etc. on this eventually or is it just gonna be MCU movies?
that's funny
What kind of fucking argument is that? Of course I would, because bundles are fucking bullshit. And the old cable ways should fucking die.
How incredibly retarded
>monsters at work
This could be funny
You're willfully blind by continually ignoring all the racist posts on this board.
Surely they'll include the X-Men movies because those still have fans
Honestly I'm surprised they didn't just pull Dark Phoenix and make it exclusive to the service
Wait isn't that just across the 2nd dimension?
So no actual Disney/Pixar reveals yet outside the little icons shown during the design?
No
It's a NEW movie
OUCH
Right on brody, you know ComicsGate is absolutely NOT a culture war partisan fad for retards who don't actually read comics and it TOTALLY won't ever just fuck off gradually like GG did.
will they release it internationally or is it just a USA thing only? I fucking hate that netflix is the only shit they allow in my country
>Lizzie McGuire
HOLY KINO
No Avengers EMH?
HUZZAH!
They're apparently starting with US + Canada launch with International release within 4-8 months.
I think it would be obvious if it was that
They better fucking put this up!
so far the only thing personally interested in is monsters at work, it's pretty easy too find both clone wars and p&f online, like there going too have too announce a couple more disney tv animation department stuff before i personally consider paying for this, thanks for the cap though.
South America is 2021 apparently, other places not that far after release. Some appear to depend on rights
What’s What If?
fuck, that's a long wait
...
>What if Spiderman kept the symbyoite?
>What if all the Fantastic Four turned into The Thing?
etc
Not gonna lie, that Togo movie about Willem Dafoe and a sled dog sounds like something that's totally up my alley.
Tell that to the losers who still want DC's piece of shit
Balto
It's like the What If? comics but for the MCU.
It's Feige's first cartoon series so supposedly he'll be getting the actors to do their own voices (I'm taking bets on which ones won't come back).
JESUS H. CHRIST Disney is tearing Netflix apart with this.
Unless Netflix does something drastic, this is game over man, game over.
the CGI one?
:^)
MCU what if silly sauce show
>What if Peggy took the serum
>What if Ronan took part in the dance off
>What if Odin didn't pick up baby Loki
>Unless Netflix does something drastic, this is game over man, game over
Netflix will have a magazine! How will Disney+ match that? latimes.com
Netflix needs more diversity on the castings. where's my blind chinese vegan trans black woman superheroe hmmmm netflix?
>Netflix spending millions to make a magazine
But why? Are magazines even profitable anymore?
>disney classics will be available on day one
DUCKTALES CONFIRMED
I don't even read their constant notifications on my phone. why would I read the same shit on a thing I'll probably have to pay extra for?
>Feige also revealed what the first episode of the original animated series based on the Marvel Comics property What If? would be, describing it as What if Peggy Carter got the powers from the Super Soldier Serum and Steve Rogers remained his scrawny self, but was given a superpowered suit of armor designed by Howard Stark?
I think Umbrella Academy might have one of those
>All the Disney channel shows will be available Day 1.
Welp, that's it. Game over Netflix. That's the final killing blow.
Because they won't be. As far as I can tell, it's just those, with more becoming available during the first year.
yikes!
>>What if Ronan took part in the dance off
i actually want to see this one
Not all of them
OH YEAH FOKES HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL! PRAISE MICKEY! PRAISE HIM!!!
They'll probably be censored
It's not a public magazine, it's only being sent to oscar voters
I hope they going to follow the rule from the early What If? comics where every episode has a tragic ending to show how the original stories were perfect just the way they were.
>‘Lady and The Tramp’ starring Tessa Thompson and Justin Theroux will be available on Disney+’s launch day
>Tessa Thompson
Does this include old ones like Recess? Because that would be a MAJOR get.
those are all the movies i need honestly. i don't care about black cauldron
If they said all of them while just showing those on screen they probably still meant all of them
It'll probably just end with Peggy and proto-Iron Man Cap sacrificing themselves to save their unit or something
>Song of the South censored forever
Feels bad
does that include disney xd and jetix stuff
i wanna watch super robot monkey and motorcity
I work for magazines. You would be fucking surprised how popular they still are, although there is not a lot of buzz about them.
It literally says ALL
That was an actual rule, and the writers weren't just being edgelords?
They said all Disney channel content. Not sure if it will include XD or jetix though. Possible. Someone will need to ask a follow up question.
they didn't say all of them, they said these are their day one animated movies, and that "more titles" would appear down the line
MY WIFE JUST GOT ME A BABY GROOT FUNKOPOP!
>Phineas And Ferb: The Movie plot
>When Candace gets captured by Aliens Phineas And Ferb will try to rescue her with new songs, new inventions & new characters & more
>5,000 episodes of Disney Channel content and 100 Disney Channel Original Movies will stream on Disney+ at launch.
Recess wasn't a Disney Channel show.
aight thanks bro
Even tiger Cruz?
>Disney Classics
>Chicken Little
LMAO
For a sec i thought it's says "100 Disney+ Original Movies"
>imagineering Documentary
Oh baby yes!
>New content will be added every week
Jeremy Renner is a huge Coke fiend
They mentioned Disney Channel and Disney Junior, no Disney XD or Jetix tho, at least not yet.
Makes sense
>family friendly content
This is suppose to get me to cancel my Netflix why?
d y'all niggas kno what dis meen?
Murder, no. Deport, yes.
>Fantasia is not in initial batch.
I'm mad as hell.
This is the killer app
Rip Netflix
didn't that kid rape a girl?
No, the fact that it gets you this and Hulu is
>Bolt
>chicken little
>Meet the Robertson
How are those Disney classics?
Okay, guys, tell me How much time do I have until the Disney content in Netflix is removed?
because netflix is absolute trash and every day they lose another and another good movie due to not renewing the rights?
>Disney Classics
I've been wanting to see the original Love Bug and Old Yeller again so hoping they include their old live action movies here.
Been in development for a few years as a movie and they've turned it into a full miniseries.
Also, National Geographic is doing an Animal Kingdom/Living Seas behind the scenes show.
Look closer
Hint: they are in alphabetical order
>disney announces a service
>user is surprised it's family friendly
>>Thor the Dark World
>>Iron Man 3
>>Captain Marvel
PFFFFFFT! What a piss poor selection!
>Malcom and the Middle
fuck yes
it's not rape if it's Cory.
>All Simpsons episodes day 1
Welp Netflix got executed live
It was in the UK.
>First 30 seasons of the Simpsons available day 1.
Holy Shit.
>the anual price
Netflix is RIP indeed.
>>disney announces a service
>>user is surprised it's family friendly
Friendly reminder. Disney will use Disney plus to shut journalists. We will never see a openly gay character in a movie. But they dump one in a low budget mini series set in the MCU.
Same
>$6.99
>$6.99
>$6.99
>$6.99
>$6.99
>$6.99
BUT BUT I WAS TOLD SIMPSONS COULDN'T HAPPEN
>Disney plus cheaper than Netflix basic
Mousehaters are literally on suicide watch
>Only 6.99
Netflix is so fucked it's not even funny.
holy fuck
Why is this surprising? Disney paid a lot of money for Fox for a reason. Personally I would be happier if they nuked everything after season 10
>alphabetical order
Ah yes, the classic alphabetical order of pic related
If it makes you happier. Even the DC universe shows like doom patrol and Titans gotten better ratings than later marvel Netflix. Even a shit service like dc universe outperforming a lot of Netflix big budget shows.
>DC puts out a piece of shit with literally nothing on it for $8 a month
>Based Disney puts 2 in the back of its head in about 3 seconds
As if every marvel movie making a billion and every DC movie bombing wasn't enough of a beating
The mouse doesn't squeak. It roars.
Dear god, this isn't funny.
What if they just outright announce "Kingdom Hearts animated series" How would you guys react?
>It's cheap
>yet they're throwing a lot of content left and right
I don't know if I should care about Disney+, but is that worth it?
wasn't posted, so here's what live-action disney films they said would be there day one
>low budget miniseries
>citation missing
Because they're right this time.
>DCuck telling lies to look like less of a failure
Sad!
What you aren't going for the true spinoff kino.
>30 seasons where just 50 episodes are actually worthy
Fuck dc fuck incels
He's not lying though. You have new Marvel shows to worship. You can stop pretending everything but Daredevil wasn't ass
I wonder what are they doing today.
Okay but what will you do to the people of color who resist being deported? Shoot them?
>Haunted mansion
People liked the haunted mansion?
and some of the fox "classics"
Also, at the end it showed much more Marvel movies becoming available than the one pic ITT with four titles, but I couldn't screencap it in time
Titans and Doom Patrol are nowhere near as successful ratings wise
R.i.p. netflix
>Garfield
Say it with me:
K I N O
Cole is in Riverdale as Jughead
Dylan is doing small films/chinese films, owns a spirit destillary/brand and does video game VO
Both are big memelords and have probably been here at some point
>50
Get the fuck away there's at least five times that quite worth watching
uh user your gonna want to sit down now
>Home alone 3
>Not the first 2
Who the fuck is picking theses movies? Is it because Macaulay Culkin defended Micheal Jackson?
>there's at least five times that quite worth watching
Name them.
That skit alone is already better than what Fox was doing with the show. maybe they'll actually handle it better.
>The Simmons will become an exclusive to Disney plus
So.... more family friendly seasons like early classic Simpsons?
50 episodes is like two seasons lmao.
You talking shit about Mr. Fox?
As a note their parebts didn't fuck them over like with some child actirs abd they both went to NYU and are obscenely wealthy.
i've got a idea, what if we all buy Disney+ on his lauch date and livestream the first episode of Cory in the House?
It's because of rights. Notice that these movies are mostly ones that no other TV channel would likely give a shit about.
I hope Feige secretly hates Disney for forcing him to announce these series two weeks before the movie that brings these characters back to life.
Exclusive home for streaming. It'll still be a network TV show and not much will change I imagine.
His name is The Vision. Wanda is Ms. Vision, and his daughter is Vivian Vision. Mr. Vision's first name is The.
>No Oswald
>No Caballeros
Will it ever happen bros
wow
Hello Dolly
Malcolm
Princess Bride
Fantastic Mr. Fox
Journey to the Center of the Earth
now we just need to see if they'll put R rated movies on here
>implying literally ANYONE thought they were staying dead
>Warnermedia could announce HBO, Boomerang, Filmstruck, DC Universe, and crunchyroll, as well as every movie and TV show they've made over the last 100 years for $4.99 and STILL wouldn't be able to compete
But I've just checked Netflix this morning and The teasure planet was available.
>>Stargirl will be on Disney+
But...what?
I thinking HULU might be their R rated option.
If it looks like the shit on DisneyXD that’s gonna be a no from me
probably cause Disney doesn't care for Treasure Planet
>Talking about billions of losses like its nothing
I'd just buy both lmao
It'd be cheaper than cable or Netflix
So, how long until they buy DC?
HBO alone already competes.
Not sure if that will be true after GoT ends, though.
Not that one DCuck
The one people actually care about
Its an adaptation of a comfy YA novel
Where's Tron?
>Garfield
wtf I love Disney now!?
>November 12
I hate you, burgers
They're only losses when you don't make them back. They're expenses right now.
I just got here, have they said anything about the Vault?
With Birds of Prey and the way Shazam is bombing? Tuesday
...
>The Simmons
Lol
Never
the porn vault?
no not yet
literally just posting the image dude
also, those Fox criterion dvds are going to become collectors items soon
Right here at the end of the list:
Could've sworn I saw both the original and Legacy available
Right here
Are all MCU films available off the bat?
...
Thanks, I just saw that image thought it was a shitpost
They literally can’t, AT&T owns WB
No, it looks like it's just these: But there's a lot more coming in the first year as their rights with whomever else run out.
They can if AT&T wants to get rid of it
Which is likely with all the money DC is losing
>Rupert Murdoch in the trash
>Bob Iger statue
10/10.
>Zero family guy talks
So confirm Seth Macfarlane firing in the future? Besides reruns. I doubt Disney sees any marketing future for family guy or it’s spin offs.
Fuck Disney. This was available for free on FX, now they pull it and charge for it.
yeah after Netflix just jacked up their price who knows how long before they find a way to keep their customers
AT&T could sell DC, but you're right that it won't happen.
It's a bit better in the logo, but still.
At least we might finally get all the Vision & the Scarlet Witch comics reprinted including that Mike Mignola/Bill Mantlo pilot for a limited series that never happened. But they'll be reprinted under the title WandaVision.
>Netflix BTFO
DC isn't losing any money. Stop with your constant shit man
>tfw in we're going to wait 2 FUCKING YEARS until it gets into LatAm
why even live
This. Look how hard Shazam flopped. The joker will flop harder.
Disney won't put Family Guy on there
It will be on Hulu
What if Falcon and Winter Soldier Loki WandaVision?
no thanks
youtube.com
I guess my dream of DC and Warner Bros. buying the movie rights to Spider-Man, and putting him in Justice League 2 will always remain a dream.
>The Joker
>Flopping
Not a chance. The response to it has been huge
What if will be an interesting show to see
This shit doesn't look official in a slightest
That's not the actual logo man. That's a mockup
>High School Musical: The Musical: The Series
lmao
>already at double its budget
>in 6 days
It's not a runaway success or anything, but it's not going to be a flop.
Also, Aquaman just made a billion fucking dollars.
>Disney won't put Family Guy on there
Newer Simpsons just as Vulgar and violent as family guy. Disney just hate Seth.
>They think they’d give up the merch WB provides, HBO, and anything else because some films flopped a few years ago
>cursedimage.ppt
Wait, that's all that's in the vault? I thought it was full of all those more obscure movies like Darby O'Gill and the Little People, or all the Mickey Mouse shorts that they never put out on the Gold Collection.
Titans cost $20 million to make, Doom Patrol probably a shitton more and no one is paying for that shitty service
Shazam is bombing hard and every DC movie has had a lower opening weekend than the last since Wonder Woman
All their nonstreaming shows are getting canceled with Preacher being the latest to get the axe
>The response to it has been huge
>Dc shills are this stupid
Waaaaaaah Cry somewhere else incel.
The shadows are wrong
>Disney buys Hulu
>Disney makes their own competitive streaming service
For what reason? Just block more mature content behind a child filter, instead of splitting them across two different services.
Lucky rabbit!
That lucky Oswald Rabbit!
Nicest rabbit that you never knew!
;_;
>No Atlantis
>No Treasure Planet
>No Oliver & Company
>Not even Robin Hood
Ok, I get it. These aren't the most well-known or best Disney movies so I-
>Chicken Little, Bolt, Dinosaur, and Aristocats get to be here
Wow, is this what it feels like to be cucked?
of course they do, he outs actors as the creeps they are.
twitter.com
>I for one salute our new corporate overlords
Response to Maleficent 2 and Zombieland 2 will be huger
It hasn't even gotten to 45 million views
Grow the fuck up dc incel
>Shazam is bombing hard
This isn't true.
> every DC movie has had a lower opening weekend than the last since Wonder Woman
I like how you mentioned opening weekend as if that fucking matters, because you know Aquaman proves your argument wrong.
>Shazam is bombing hard
No it isn't
Yeah, SHAZAM was cool, but Joker has literally never had a good origin story ever. He works much better without one.
This is just the Day 1 lineup.
Why do people gloat over a company's profits?
They might very well be turning Hulu into their adult R rated streaming service.
I wouldn't be surprised if it eventually got stuff like Alien or Predator on it.
It's a low-budget, likely rated-r movie. It doesn't have to make a billion dollars.
Do you idiots realize that not everything is a blockbuster?
>Response to Maleficent 2 and Zombieland 2 will be huger
>This isn't true
It's truer than true
You'll see when it gets beaten by Hellboy
I'm more surprised they remembered the Great mouse detective
Christ, people ITT actually sound like shills.
>At least we might finally get all the Vision & the Scarlet Witch comics reprinted including that Mike Mignola/Bill Mantlo pilot for a limited series that never happened
Everything has been reprinted before except those two stories, didn't know they were intended to be another miniseries.
NO ADS ON DISNEY+
There is nothing more cringe than you living out some Entourage extra fantasy LARP of playing fantasy football with box office bullshit while thinking someone like Disney's success is yours.
>gets beaten by Hellboy
Yikes.
Why is Yea Forums literally never right?
was thinking that also, really doesn't mesh in the disney+ menu carousel having a xenomorp/predator image next to some family friendly content
I'm so fucking tired of you retards going on over dc vs marvel. Just shut the fuck up and die already, you pathetic losers
It's been proven that Microsoft has Indian marketers posting on /g/ and Yea Forums for at least a good 5-6 years now. Is other companies using the same method on other boards really that outlandish a thought?
>I wouldn't be surprised if it eventually got stuff like Alien or Predator on it.
Especially since they confirmed it months ago
Ladderbro is going to shoot up a theater while wearing a Hellboy graphic tee.
YOU NEED TO PICK A SIDE
THE WAR IS NEVER OGRE
Those are great economic stats there to prove your point
The war is over
Based Disney won
This is 100% happening.
Disney dabbles in R rated stuff all the time, they are just careful to make sure it isn't listed under the DISNEY logo.
That still doesn't mean much, it's not like anybody else owns tv rights to something like Fun & Fancy Free. Sure they could always dump it later, but there's no guarantee. It's geared toward the more mainstream Disney fans, so us more hardcore enthusiasts on Yea Forums are left suffering.
It also looks like stuff like Cinderella and The Sword and the Stone have the same boxart as those horrifying "restorations" that put photoshop filters over everything and blurred out all the pencil strokes. So that's another bummer.
>You'll see when it gets beaten by Hellboy
Oh it's b8. This is the next showing at my theater. It's in 10 minutes. Maybe it will be huge domestically?
Well, Yea Forums, since it's probably bound to happen. what animated series would you guys want?
>Wreck-It Ralph?
>Moana + Maui adventure/battle series
>Disney Princesses spin-off series
>Zootopia
>Kingdom Hearts show
I think I'm just gonna say fuck it to all streaming service besides criterion channel if that turns out worth a shit. Good movies are spread out and few and far between and I don't care about shitty TV.
With the recent buyouts they own about 70% of Hulu now. It makes perfect sense to put all the R rated and searchlight stuff Fox used to do under it.

DISNEY +
any word if if tv shows like talespin, chip and dale, og ducktales are gonnabe available at launch? or even forgotten gems like Recess or Fillmore!
Become a pirate like a smart person. There's no point for paying for something if you aren't going to use 95% of it's content
best anime
Cisbusters got 45 million and is a fucking flop.
Aquaman had a pitiful 30 million trailer views (40 when close to premier) along with it's extended 5 minute preview even more abysmal. And it grossed over a billion. Why are you so such a fly eating retard?
They've already announced a Love, Simon series for Disney+
The R-rated stuff is definitely going to Hulu though
zootopia animated series desu.
So...monopoly good now?
you will never be a real woman, rotscrotch
orange man bad
I mean really, the way I see it, there's no good reason they should even have a "starting lineup" for something like Disney animated films. It's not like they're fucking going anywhere, just put them all up. I understand if it's brand new like Ralph 2, but most of the movies they're missing are already 10+ years old.
Zootopia would work far better as an tv series sequel then another film, even if the focus isn’t the furfag duo
>Kingdom Hearts show
What are "things that will literally never happen"?
Can you imagine if they tried to make a KH show that fit into canon? It would be incomprehensible.
It doesn't have to be huge it just has to beat Shazam which is likely
I got here late, only just in time for the Q&A portion, do we have a list of all the things available at launch as just a text document?
Dc flopping everyday Incels crying everyday
Fucking Toy Story, the shorts showed you can still do a lot with the "toys are alive" concept
I know that feel.
Fuck, I remember when we used to go for quality over how much a movie earned now it's just some rando's saying they "won" like that matters to a Multi-billion dollar company.
The worst thing about this is that... I feel that the general population is going to start acting the same way these retards will.
Disney is always good so more Disney = more good
I'm already on that buddy, but half the intrigue of criterion is their curation (and convenience, as with all streaming services), at least for my pea-brain. Still though, I'm gonna sit on it and see where it goes. They have Fantastic Planet, that's better than most Disney animated movies.
why not put everything on disney+
>He thinks WB is just DC
>You cant like both
Company war fags need to go back to now
It literally will not happen. If it does I'll eat 10 Justice League blu rays.
Expectations for a Hellboy opening are ~$20 million. Shazam is expected to beat that this weekend, so Hellboy won't even open to #1.
Hellboy also doesn't have any internation presence, and it doesn't even seem to be opening in China.
Hellboy looks like the first legitimate flop of the year.
>Zootopia show
Oh god... I can feel the masive amount of autism and porn right now...
Sad thinking how so many sites have closed over the years due to piracy crackdown and now every single company wants to charge to stream their shit exclusively on their shit.
can't you use a proxy?
>Aquaman only made money in China
>Isn’t a flop
>t. Disney shill
Because they want to charge you more money
Oh come on, the movie didn't have that much. Why would this?
Shazam had a $50 million opening weekend so with a 50% dropoff which is being super generous by the way it's still going to be really close
Fuck off incel
user that's 12 seats. Did you see the price? Not counting the booking fee it's made $144 In one of it's four showing of the day. On opening weekend. Hate DC all you want but Hellboy is a complete disaster
fuck netflix
>incomprehensible
Have you seen this franchise? That'd be par for the course.
Hellboy still made more money than Shazam stupid
>$335m domestically
>$1.147 BILLION worldwide
>highest estimate places budget at $200m
There is literally no way you can try to spin this as a flop.
>
Tramp looks just like my dog! What the fuck!
>Shazam couldn’t even make a billion like black panther and captain marvel
>Isn’t a flop
Even if Hellboy beats it this weekend, that means nothing. It won't make more money overall.
Hellboy came out today, retard, and it hasn't made ANY money yet.
I bet their gimmick would be some "Love, Death, and Robots" shit where the style changes.
>Visit Steamboat Willie short
>1928 style fighting with swing theme of KH
>Visit Pirates of the Carribean
>have a live-action version of the cast
>visit any current Disney world
>all CG
DC has been working towards a comeback, with the Marvel Malaise setting in over how nearly every film is the same thing.
>quips
>giant beam
>world ending threat
>tearjerker fakeout
I'm not saying the DCCU is any good, far from it, but it has been more varied at least, which leads to good things like Doom Patrol or Shazam getting put out.
It's a shame that Shazam exists in the same universe as Superman when in the comics he's on a separate Earth, especially considering how shit every single movie in the Justice League plot line has been shit.
I shall screencap this post to mock you at a later date
>$6.99 a month
>4k HDR
This is sounding pretty based
do you want me to get a fucking virus?
Where's pic related.
Could you please retards fuck off? No one gives a fuck of how much money a company made, we are talking about Netflix and his goddamn dead body, go to sperg to another place.
>Dc incel cry cry
>Shazam flop flop flop
>Joker be the biggest flop of 2019
disney+ seems like the perfect platform to resuscitate a certain endeared classic
That's my point. No one would watch it other than die-hard fans. And even they would need a 4-hour youtube video to explain why it makes sense.
I'm one of them
That could actually be kind of neat.
Although live-action Sora legitimately scares me.
t. nazi incel
I want them to set up a Marvel Animated Universe like DC had, consistent art style across the board and at least 4 different shows.
If you think Shazam was doomed being sandwiched between 2 marvel movies, then how do you think a Non-Del Toro Hellboy movie will compare?
Someone post the calarts edit.
>Marvel Malaise
How fucking stupid are you to continue this meme?
Captain Marvel just made a BILLION dollars.
>crying that Marvel chad BTFOing virgin dc
What an erudite argument you make.
Please excuse me while I stick my head in this burning oven.
Hellboy probably isn't going to beat it this weekend. Even if it hits it's highest projection of 20mil Shazam would still have to drop off 65% for that to happen.
I think he's just fucking with you now because it's easy to bait DC fans. Nobody but an absolute spastic would consider Aquaman a flop
Any news on TTC?
That'd be awesome, but it would be overrun with synergy.
I don't care, It's just not related to the thread, faggot.
So are Hawkeye and Sif also happening? Did they give dates fir the marvel stuff?
stop that
I don't buy the 6.99 price. That surely won't include 4K content.
But if I'm wrong, damn that price is a Netflix killer.
>Shazam would still have to drop off 65% for that to happen.
Like every fucking dc movie and show ever
Is there a list of all day one shows and movies?
who the fuck cares this is a thread about disney+ fuck off
Isn't there one already? Avengers, Agents of Smash, Guardians and Spidey
They literally announced it today. What's not to believe?
FUCK DISNEY AND FUCK WB
The real issue is how everyone wants to make a service to make us pay for 15 things a month. Disney+ is bad just like the DC service. Fuck you idiots for rather having everyone charge you $7 a month for a few things than $15 a month for everything.
It's just Netflix.
I want HD restoration of the Golden Age theatrical shorts. I'm talking Mickey, Donald, and Goofy.
So when does Clone Wars season 7 air/drop/released/become available?
Which one is the tramp?
Because that seems too cheap for EVERYTHING in highest possible quality.
>$6.99
Christ they just curb stomped everyone
>INCEL crying that dc getting made fun of
no precise dates on the marvel stuff, just that The Mandalorian will be available day one, don't know if it'll be the whole series or just the first episode
So did Skyfall and Fate of the Furious, but those are both shit that only appeals to the lowest common denominator.
I'm not talking about the public's opinion, I'm talking about MINE. I'M tired of the same movie being made over and over. I hate the grimdark shit DC has been pushing since Nolanbats, and I hate the cheesy kitsch that Marvel has been churning out since Avengers 1.
Why can't we have more things that walk the line between Comedy and Tragedy? Whatever happened to actual Dramas where there can be comedic elements but still treat the plot seriously?
Shazam and Doom Patrol both do this, as does Spiderverse, which while a Marvel movie isn't part of the MCU.
> than $15 a month for everything
In what world would every company release all their content on a single app for $15?
Are you fucking stupid?
>Our streaming division will lose $3.6 billion over the next three years
>Investors cheer wildly
I don’t understand
And then they will jack up the price when everybody else is dead
>I'm not talking about the public's opinion, I'm talking about MINE
Got it.
Why not just watch other movies then?
Fuck off and cry about Shazam flopping somewhere else
>$7
Damn Disney.
Oh, most definitely.
>Incel nazi trying to make this place Yea Forums to avoid criticism
youtu.be
>the on model Dumbo
Holy shit, on model Disney characters in The Simpsons are gonna look so weird. I'm not ready.
They won’t have any content with lesbians so I’m not interested.
That's how it used to be. There was a time when Netflix and hulu were the only 2 people and each had 50%.
You responding to him doesn't help.
Except for the fucking Michael Jackson episode, which is now being pulled from all releases forever.
>He's not talking about Shazam in anyway
>Gotta bring up Shazam
You're mentally ill
That’s how every monopoly in history worked
It’s a race to the bottom, first one to run out of money loses. And the Mouse is sitting on the biggest treasure hoard on earth.
>Having DC rent free in their head when Disney is announcing their exclusive streaming service.
Disney has the money to be in it for the long haul. Giving high quality shows/movies and their enormous back catalog for such a rock bottom price will force others to either price themselves to compete, or go out of business, possibly even sell to Disney. Losing money now means nothing if you're the only one standing at the end.
And you think they had every movie and TV show in the world?
*ahem*
FUCK WANDA AND FUCK VISION
Any examples of this in the past? When is Walmart going to jack up it's prices now that all the mom/pop stores are dead?
Amazon and Diapers.com they ran massive discounts on online diaper sales until they took over the entire market share then brought the prices back up.
Amazons prices are still low though.
>now and forever will block your path
Walmart has Target and Amazon to compete with and literally everywhere else for groceries
They can’t charge monopoly prices because they aren’t one
DIDNEY WORL
It looks like there's some unannounced movies that will be there sooner or later
You can see Oliver and Company a little bit to the left of the center logo here, beside the force awakens
No but they had everything you could legally stream. It was a better system than just one comapny's IPs for one price, and another company for another price multiplied by 10.
>The Incredible Dr. /pol/
>Dr. pol
>Those movies
They doesn't look that much. I have seen most of them in Disney channel in the past.
I feel like some of the responses to the Company Wars feel like a bad RP.
>Flop-flop-flop
>SJW-SJW-SJW
>Incel-Incel-Incel
>Fungus-Fungus-Fungus
It's kind of entertaining to see people parroting stuff like this but it always creeps into threads that have even a slight whiff of cape movies which is to say 50% of Yea Forums.
It's getting more annoying every time I see it and it makes me uncomfortable to show support to one movie/cartoon because I'm afraid of getting called a shill or worse.
Walmart may not raise their prices, because their customers are all people they drove out of business.
But they do close their store when sales dip too much, leaving their remaining customers without a supermarket. Sometimes multiple towns are screwed this way
Lower than irl stores but higher than what the online price used to be.
It also had no new original content and wasn't sustainable.
The fact that it was cool for a couple years doesn't mean it could ever exist again.
>Animated What If is based on the MCU
Kinda disappointed but kinda interested.
Where?
>Dr pol
What the hell disney? They want the Sam rami spider-man audiences?
>Simpsons used to stream for free
>Now Disney is making you pay for it
>Everybody cheers
Interesting.
aww shit son it's Even Stevens
Disney's not neglecting Gravity Falls after all I see
live action movies, shows, and sports.
disney's gotten too big and gave up the cartoon focus.
>Disney owns literally everything
>Still too scared to pull this out of the memory hole
Ironically, the far left
Rockafeller put oil companies out of business by making their oil super cheap, bankrupt them, then skyrocketed the price. This is how he became the richest man in history.
>Dr pol
I can feel the shitposting right now.
>Incredible dr pol
Is this the MCU answer to the joker movie?
>Dr. /pol/
It'll probably a stealth addition with a racism warning beforehand
That's not what I'm talking about. I'm saying people who keep insisting DC will always be shit aren't seeing that it's course correcting itself already, and has been since Wonder Woman came out.
Yes, a majority of DC's stuff in its current CU is shit, but when the Simpsons first started a majority of its episodes were good. Now that time has passed, there are more good episodes than bad, and once enough time passes for DC there will be more good than bad, even if it can't be perfect because what is perfect?
Samurai Jack ended its fourth season on a cliffhanger, and was a five star show even without an ending. Then the 5th season came out and how terrible that was overshadows the rest of it. Meanwhile, Quantum Leap ended on a cliffhanger as well, and despite receiving no definite conclusion is still lauded as one of the greats. Having no ending is an imperfection, but a minor one compared to having a bad ending.
Such is the same for these Cinematic Universes, that neither one will be absolutely perfect, but can still be composed of good parts. I thought Thor:Ragnarok and GotG 1 were both good, even if things like Thor 2 and Age of Ultron were shit. Same as Shazam and Doom Patrol being, so far, the only good parts of the DCCU, with the latter being directly juxtaposed to the absolutely abhorrent Titans series.
Pardon the food analogy, but if I have a cake that's made of half vanilla and half anchovy, I can eat the vanilla half without even looking at the anchovy. Meanwhile people who obsess over the entire cake will eat the whole thing and mock people who only eat from part of it.
I've lost track of what I was saying. Is there a full list of the things available at launch yet?
>Neglecting
You get comics, figures, journals, full series physical release. Disney isn’t neglecting it
Yeah I made the dumb assumption they would considering the creator's at Netflix now
>Can't watch the first 2 home alone movies
>Missing Simpsons episode
Why should i pay for this shit?
I'm only excited because I wanna binge the older seasons. Were they already available for free beforehand? That's pretty shit if that's the case.
Because now people outside the US can check them
Quick, someone tell me to kill myself!
Please don’t meme Dr pol into some kind of psychopathic racist. He a good man.
But hey, Netflix has a Matt Groening show too! Jeez what's wrong with me
>So confirm Seth Macfarlane firing in the future
Let's hope for the best
New thread is up
Give Oswald
Disney will bust down sites like kimcartoons if they stream any content of theirs. This will ruin us.
>Shazam and Doom Patrol being, so far, the only good parts of the DCCU
Is there any evidence that Doom Patrol and Titans are actually supposed to be part of the DCEU?
Good. I'd fucking better get O&C, it's my favorite one.
Nigga please, Disney stuff has been on kim for ages. I wouldn't worry.
user, you know that's inevitable...
They aren't. Neither were Marvel's tv shows despite heavily referencing "the incident"
Piracy will never die. It would just bring a mild inconvenience
Probably not, but I don't really care, because if DC wasn't pursuing this venture, the show probably would've never got made, same as all those Netflix Marvel shows.
my ISP has given me a last warning. what do?
Now I remember!
He helps farm animals get surgery and helps with their pregnancy right?
Start running
I remember seeing somewhere that OG ducktales and Recess are gonna be on there
Except Marvel actually said they were MCU, regardless of whether or not they actually treated them as such.
But did DC even ever say so?
>Dr /pol/ relaxes on chair petting a golden retriever puppy
>Howdy kids!
>Fun Fact!
>Did YOU know that despite making up ONLY 13% of dogs, pitbulls commit FIFTY PERCENT of ALL maulings?
>Isn't THAT nuts, kids?
It's literally just one dude
No DC never said they were
Kingdom Hearts

>Nuh uh, we are the REAL fans and you are just posers.
ComicsGate totally reads comics! We don't just buy a couple of floppies then never even crack them open just so we can tweet them at publishers I swear!
Except that being objectively false and this just being Disney's attempt to enter an already crowded and competitive market with their large but limited content platform, that will kill 0 other services in total, but people will complain about Disney owning thing because people like to complain about Disney owning things because they're retards who don't understand how media works, how monopolies form, or competition functions in a market place.
All of unfounded conspiracies about Standard Oil, lowering their prices is not one that they were even suspecting of doing.
Predatory pricing is in all ways, a myth
>except for all the comicsgater who make comics
>and the ones who've been supporting independent creators
>and the fact that no one can get needlessly angry at something unless at least one of them opened the book to find something to point at and yell
Criticize anyone all you want but "they don't read/watch X" is such a fucking stupid and baseless argument to make.
>Falcon and Winter Soldier
>WandaVision
Okay, what fucking idiot came up with these god awful names?
Yeah because it's always fun to get into a debate with one of the retards only to find that they have absolutely no idea what they're talking about, right? You're acting like they only ever talk about stuff that they're knowledgeable about.
I'm looking for some more spidey content. Is the newest one worth the watch?
