He’s one of the big name writers at DC so he gets some of the most criticisms from anons since he’s one of the most visible writers. The constant delays to his books hasn’t helped matters when it comes to shitposting and the Snyder cult are obsessively hating on him on Twitter. You’ll eventually start seeing some fanfics about him like how him and Didio despise each other, how he ruined the Green Lantern books, or how he hates Wally.

Johns has a few amazing runs under his belt and some decent ones. He's kind of dropped off when New 52 started, allegedly he hated it then he got to undo it with Rebirth and DC had a lot of success for a while. Then he got a promotion and got to oversee the movies and Didio got take charge again.

Johns has contributed A LOT of good ideas to DC over the years, but unfortunately he can't do home runs every time and naturally Yea Forums is harsher on him for it. Mix that with a few not muh fags, and a dash of autism, and the guy gets more shit than he probably deserves.
I generally like the guy's work for the most part. His Justice League however is kind of trash though.
You forgot Aquaman and JSA, both of which were good. I don't expect a writer to click with every character.

New 52 wasn't the problem. It did well enough and had great runs but the reboot wasn't necessary. The highlight was that it changed things up. Then Convergence happened and that was a filler event while DC HQ moved. That event tanked hard and then DCYou was the comics that took place after it and the comics were too different and the event left a bad taste in everyone's mouth that they were dropping in sales. So they did Rebirth and Johns was so sure people would love it he said they'd cover returns if people didn't like it.
Rebirth brought back the old continuity and merged some of the New 52 stuff in and a lot of ongoings sold well but some anons didn't like it that much because they felt it was too safe and boring compared to the New 52.

That is true but you can tell what the overall perception of a publisher is. Rebirth was definitely the best DC was doing in several years and Marvel was at its lowest at the same time. Then Johns left and Didio took over again while Alonso resigned and the Shogun came in.
