oh hey, it is like that btas episode
we all in agreement that Arkham knight is Ric Grayson
it is either going to be someone New (OC) or an obscure character
No one knows what it's like
To be the bad man
To be the sad man
probably but dido has dick so I could see him telling them to make it rick
End
Thanks for reading.
Wait what if it's the second Azrael?
Ric is too tied up in editorial. It is probably someone tied to Arkham. Maybe even related to Jeremiah Arkham.
RIP Bats.
Gotham Knight is better name
What a batastrophe!
Not bad
My bet is that it is going to be an Arkham patient that blames Batman for what happened to him (and/or his loved ones) and wants revenge. Basically your typical Anti-Batman person.
is Tomasi a good writer?
>Perhaps they were tired of hanging around
Oh Alfred.
IT’S GRANNY GOODNESS
It's Prometheus, since he hasn't shown up since N52 started. Screencap it.
Check out those Bat-tits.
I could see that
Wasn’t he in the Midnighter run?
Should've been Batman caught in a War between vampires and vampire hunter.
It’s sound/sonics that are killing the bats.
Hot
He was in Orlando's run of JLA Rebirth
You know this isn't a joke, Tomasi, Gotham's mosquito and other pest numbers are going to skyrocket unless Bruce imports a ton of Bats in to replace these.
A box full of dead at GCPD's doorstep would have sufficed as a message.
>Batman's lenses become white when the sun is up
Kind of cool.
>The hips on woman-bat
please don't do this to me
this run is fucking terrible. I can't believe I'm about to say this but I miss Tynion
Ok so how about a book with orca and she-bat and you can call it Grace and Frankie?
I’d be down
>I miss Tynion
No you do not.
What has Ric been up to?
it’s Jason Todd
Tec hasn’t been good since Black Mirror
Fuck
Yeah, they get the fuck out of Gotham and go somewhere in florida.
It’s Nobody brought back to life.
I liked it as an introduction but I don't feel I have enough to really say whether it's good or not. Maybe I've been reading too many older comics recently but I'm not a fan of how decompressed Tomasi's run has been so far. That being said, I liked the conversations between the characters and everyone from Alfred to Langstrom to Gordon felt right. I also enjoyed the brief fight with the knights because it made Batman feel vulnerable as opposed "nyah-nyah, you can't hit me because of my super bat armor cloth™©®." It reminded me of Bronze Age Batman where enough goons could be a real threat if they surrounded him.
There really isn't a single good Batman book on the market right now.
So long as Creature of the Night #4 keeps getting delayed indefinitely, it's still technically a good Bat book currently running.
Tomasi's Alfred banter has potential. It's not quite dry enough, but it can get there with a little work.
>it made Batman feel vulnerable as opposed "nyah-nyah, you can't hit me because of my super bat armor cloth™©®."
But opens another can of guano.
That many arrows in a person should cause significant muscle damage, especially if the person continues aggressive movements while they're lodged in.
Secondly, if they planned ahead for the arrows to penetrate his armor, there's really no reason they shouldn't be laced with something lethal to put him down instead of hoping attrition would do the job.
Meanwhile, Kirk's scientifically codebreaking magic spells and trying not to stare at Wonder Woman's rack or Zatanna's thighs. It's good to be the Manbat.
I miss Maya...
>there's really no reason they shouldn't be laced with something lethal to put him down instead of hoping attrition would do the job.
Or they laced them with shit to incapacitate him because they wanted to capture him, which is exactly what ended up happening. The issue ends with a sword to Batman's neck and I assume the next one doesn't begin with him dead, so I don't think they want him dead.
>That many arrows in a person should cause significant muscle damage, especially if the person continues aggressive movements while they're lodged in.
Also, this part doesn't super bother me because injuries doing way less lasting damage than they should in reality is just something you come to expect in comics.
Bruce is pretty durable/tough. He held his own against Future Tim Drake, and that was without armor.
The point is you could probably make quite a collection of non-meta humans in comics getting injured in ways that should be debilitating, but is forgotten about after the story is over. Whether it's stabbed or shot or whatever.
bring back Lapham
>bag and tag
This will never not trigger me
It's tag and bag
You don't tag the bag
Who is Arkham Knight? Easy, the last character DC wants to push. What do you think Yea Forums? Ric, Jason again, Duke cause he's a black Robin, or somebody else?
I bet it's the Scarecrow.
My money is still on either OC or one of the Arkham family.
she should join the Teen Titans.
It’s Harper Row.
Maybe
>IT WAS ALL A DREAAAAAM
just like the preceding arc
kek
A Joker's son from the future
Some Joker?
Praise the Sun?
>Detective and Batman released on the same day
That’s Weird?
I thought both books were suppose to be released on separate times/days?
Clone of Jason
Azrael, Sean Murphy is writing him in a sequel for White Knight so maybe DC is pushing Azrael
I think it's Azrael and I'm not happy about it but like the last time, the more obvious answer is the right answer
Why do you think people hate Bendis now more than ever?
What kind of useless fucking helmets are these?
Azrael is one of the dumbest fucking characters ever created. I loathe any encounter with or reference to him. Dennis O'Neil has so much goodwill from writing Batman and The Question that everyone forgot how fucking silly the Batman books got under his editorship.
Azreal is awesome, whatcha talkin about?
I disagree but respect your opinion
Since it's probably not Jason Todd, what if it's Sheila Haywood (Jason Todd's mum)?
Well thank you. I hope you have a good day.
Like Mother like Son?
You too
Yeah he's solid. Issue 999 was great so I'm feeling good about him.
After last issue I'm afraid to read this.
>Issue 999 was great
Kings of Fear
Man, these are some stupid ass costumes.
I hate Azrael too
I haven't been following comics for a while, but I thought the post-Rebirth Batman costume had the yellow lining on the bat symbol and belt. It looks like he's back to his pre-Flashpoint costume now. Is this something that started post #1000? Or has he been running around in this for a while?
Half the time, yeah.
The other half is when he gives us shit like Arkham War
Yeah I thought so. You hated it? I definitely enjoyed it much much more than King's latest Batman issue.
King changed it and brought the trunks back because he's sad about Catwoman
It's a shame, a few more years of tweaks and that that would have been the definitive suit for the next decade
Whatever King is doing was better than Tomasi's phone-it-in Saturday morning cartoon fake mystery it-was-all-a-dream crap
King's Batman has LITERALLY been all a dream for the past 6 issues.
Not him but I liked the new suit or the N52 suit, I think my favorite was the N52 suit
And the comics for the game Arkham Knight
Admittedly I'm not caught up with King's Batman.
Superboy Prime
Um he's in JL Oddessy user.
Sometimes. Considering the Arkham Knight shit started with BATMAN SOUNDS LIKE BADMAN this is not one of those times.
