I'm not wholly opposed to a head covering for cosmetic purposes but the bubble is an odd half-measure. Way back when his electromagnetic harness protected him and also energized his body, which made him strong/tough.Though it did give him cancer, so I guess he had to downgrade.

I'm placing my crazy theory bet now: Taskmaster is working with Lizard to shut the place down or help Ant out. I don't think he would have bothered going out and capturing Lizard after he got Ant unless he had alternative plans.

I don't even think it's redemption necessarily so much as him wanting to get paid -and- set up future opportunities. It's less a moral thing and more cold pragmatism - this is a good way to get profit while also not burning bridges with every villain in town, namely Ant who he clearly values

I mean Flash, who is a symbiote now, has split of from the venom symbiote. Essentially he’s just a copy made from Venom’s memory, but he was still operating as Flash. He left in the same issue he was introduced in, it was left pretty ambiguous as to what happened to him.

it was 'flash drive' flash dna in some symbiote goo the last memories of him to go on one last short fight that saved eddie and then it went away it could come back but for now it was a one time use

...that was just the memory of Flash inside the dormant symbiote.
It didn't split off, it didn't go anywhere, the memory just faded away because it's just the symbiote in the end
