What would Boondocks for white people be like?
What would Boondocks for white people be like?
That show on Netflix about the 70s family
>Unapologetic criticism of white culture
Married with Children? The whole purpose of that show is to basically take the expected white middle class nuclear family concept and shit all over it hard.
South Park
Trailer Park Boys.
It would point out the hypocrisy of all or nothing us vs. them philosophy on both sides of the political spectrum, and then get cancelled after pissing off 90% of everyone.
Archie
>no episode where Sarah molests the boys
Did you even watch Boondocks? If you think it had nothing but shit to give toward black 'culture' you might need to give it a rewatch.
A repeating theme of Boondocks was mocking them for being the way they are, but embracing it because at the end of the day it was their community for better or more often worse, and concepts like family values would still mostly stand on top.
Married with children
Zone stuff
>Niggers
>Family Values

Glee
Not even close
She's more into hunks.
Murdoch Murdoch.
Probably the simpsons
I kinda thought King of the Hill/Simpsons was basically that.
Did YOU even watch it? It did nothing but rip on blacks for being niggers. It points out the only thing oppressing blacks is other blacks and their "culture" of acting like thugs
>Implying white and black people don't have the exact same values just completely different circumstances through which to apply those values.
t. Yangus T. Boikins
Thats right goy were all the same, genetics are a lie. Now go cross breed with the other goyim
White Boondocks is King of the Hill.
It satirizes every day life with somewhat silly hijinks that are grounded in realism and identifies complex arguments by presenting them in a easy to digest manner
We haven't had a good Boondocks thread in a while. Looks like it'll stay that way.
Really early Simpsons would be my guess. Same mix of heartwarming and self-deprecation. Thing is, Boondocks was firstly a fish out of water story, with the Freeman family moving from the city to an all white suburb across the country. That same setting isn't really present in the Simpsons where everyone sort of belongs where they already are.
Really, the Black and White experience is too differential, as sort of said. The best you'll get are close analogues, but nothing truly accurate.
Season 1 is still one of the best animated shows ever made. And considering the recent R. Kelly shit, still relevant.
We did before feminism started hitting black community hard. Now its about worshiping black women and regularly shitting on black men.
>socioeconomic poverty justifies broken families and other amoral acts which includes but is not limited to crimes
God I wish I were black
It be about a white guy who hates white people, but not in the self hating sort of way.
/pol/
NEETs shouldn't make comments on justifying amoral acts
the show had more to say than just that uncle ruckus
South Park
>What would Boondocks for white people be like?
The question is busted, because there is no unified white culture in America. There's something like 200 million of them spread out over 3 million square miles- it's not possible for there to be one. As a population, Black people are much smaller, are mostly concentrated in a handful similar areas, and have a tendency to self-sort themselves. In this way, they maintain a fairly unified sense of identity. You can't lovingly critique "white culture" like the Boondocks critiques black culture because a white guy from rural Florida is not the same as a white guy from New York City, or a white guy from suburban Michigan, or even a white guy from rural Texas. You can only critique certain branches of white culture. People who think that white folks have anything resembling the homogenized culture black folks (usually) do either haven't traveled or are simply playing an identity politics game.
Of all the shows that have ever lovingly critiqued a white subculture, King of the Hill probably does it the best.
>It points out the only thing oppressing blacks is other blacks
No it doesn't. It never says the ONLY thing oppressing blacks is other blacks. You're retarded. What did you think was the point of the Wuncler as a character?
You know what, I'll correction myself: King of the Hill doesn't necessarily critique a white subculture. It critiques a regional culture. Which just proves my point even further.
This
I really like the way Boondocks portrays white people. They're all so carefree and focused regardless of whether they're evil or weird or ignorant.
Yes it does. You don’t know what it’s like being poor, do ya?
I bet you think Fight Club recommends you start a fight club too right?
Not him, but grew up poor and was poor up into my mid-20s. You seem to be under the impression that poverty causes broken families, when the truth is that cultures that create and normalize broken families perpetuate poverty.
Feminism bridges the gap between Black Panthers and Klansmen. Weird times.

Grid filling is a mistake.
Zone dosent do shota
>user you're replying to is talking about the family unit and family value systems in the US are the same regardless of race
>mentions genetics anyway
I mean shit, go goypost all you want but that's actually retarded
King of the Hill
You mean Rick and Morty?
kek
It seems today.
I've never seen someone miss the point so hard.
I'd say Malcom in the Middle is about the closest you can get.
