I mean, the next arc is just them going there and getting the stuff, as he does not mean "it's gone forever" here in this context. If I'm wrong then I will eat my hat, but not my good hat, the other one. Also, Coyote gave them those things as a failsafe in case he ever lost himself again, like when he was a dead bird by a lake. It's why Loup doesn't know exactly why he wants them but he knows he really wants them. The moment he rejoins with them, Loup will split back into Coyote and Ysengrin.

here's what i predict
The two Annies will never merge, or otherwise become one, they will both be separate characters from now on.
This will solve at least a few plotpoints and problems, such as only one of them being held to the Psychopomp contract.
I also predict that only one of them will end up becoming pregnant.
The first thing works best for Court-Annie, since it could give her one last chance to talk with Ysengrin.
Seeing as they're both dressed and styled for either traditional femininity, and naturalistic femininity, i think pregnancy also works best for Court-Annie.
Not sure what would happen with Forest-Annie, maybe she goes to live with the forest, but i doubt she'll get together with Kamlen

The pregnancy part would be epilogue, and the surviving Annie would just be the mom. But I think they'll merge eventually, or one will die. Coyote made a point of saying he can't create souls.

All depends on the literal wording of the contract, and how they make their laws. It's not impossible that the pomps are prepared for a case such as this, and contracts only apply to a single individual.
Maybe there are other psychopomps that started out as human, but were eventually split like this, due to other people literally believing them to be some sort of god?

C-Annie look like a modern woman, similar to how the court is more modernized, while F-Annie looks like a hippie similar to how the forest is more natural

The Court-Forest is about modernity-nature dualism. Throughout the comic, Annie has gone back and forth between these two sides, but now she's split into two individuals, and one of them is more modern, and the other is more natural.

What's that got to do with pregnancy?

Alright, i guess i stretched that one a bit after that. But the way i'm thinking is F-Annie is more free spirited, and C-Annie seem slightly more focused on "remember mother". My thought was that C-Annie would be more willing to have a child, knowing she'll die, and F-Annie would not want to settle for something like that.

But i'll concede that part is a big stretch on my point. But i still think their two characters are dualistic. And i'm still -guessing- that they won't merge, and only one of them will be pregnant

I'm just not sure how either Annie would resist the urge.

I hope the next chapter is about Court Annie impersonating Forest Annie so Tony will treat her well.
