Huh alot of people seem to be in the same boat as me on this, alright actress in an alright role. Most of the issues I have are with the writing and the character herself. They don't know what to do with her but refuse to just take her out or make her role more supportive/background. So she is just kinda there with enough lines to be like "I'm here also".
Honestly I feel like that's where most of the issues with quips come from, they pay these actors big money so want to give them screen time. So they throw them into scenes their character has nothing to add to so they just get a witty one liner to justify them being there. Widow just gets it the worst as she as a character doesn't bring much to the table.

She was fine when she was actually allowed to have a personality and character, but that's been 3 movies out of a handful, otherwise she was just there. Same with Hawkeye, really.
