People complain about Gravity Falls (I still think both are fine)

Only things I liked about it were crazy Pearl, Steven talking to the Cluster, some of the drama like Pearl wanting to turn Steven's gf into a puppet, Steven's dad freaking out easily, the soothing comfy music which played once in a blue moon.

The rest was terrible, especially Steven's shity flamboyant personality which ruined everything even in manlier dubs.

Plus that kind of atmospheric directing and drama I can get out of PPG, Dexter's Lab, Samurai Jack 100 times more in quantity and 100 times more talented and effortfully done.

SU on the other hand, started out great, then progressively turned to shit. All potential drained with each passing season. idk maybe its because SU had too much focus away from the stuff we wanted to see. Too much townee stuff when during those episodes we just wanted to know what Jasper or the Diamonds were doing. We did not get enough time with villains and many of the characters were just content with waiting things out. FMA was pretty good at keeping a focus on the main story arc while SU took its time
