Why is Tuttle in nearly every single episode of this season of American Dad? Is Richard Kind blackmailing the showrunners or something?

Am I crazy or does stan’s job as a cia never get used to start some crazy hijinks anymore?

In the current season, 2 of the 22 aired episodes have featured Stan's job at all, 3 if you count Bullock trying to kill Francine in Paranoid Frandroid.

I did not expect to see crawlers from The Descent (2005) to make a cameo
>The humanoid creatures, referred to as "Crawlers" in the credits, are, according to director Marshall... cave men that never left the cave; they evolved over thousands of years, living down there in families. They've lost their eyesight; they have acute hearing and smell; and they function perfectly in the pitch black.

I like Tuttle enough, but they are using him a bit much. He's better in small doses like Klaus.

Tuttle is the heart of soul of American Dad.

TBS might be trying to make Tuttle the new principal Lewis. Tuttle isn't an extreme personality like Lewis though.

Tuttle's the key to all this, if we get Tuttle working. 'Cause he's a funnier character than we've ever had in the show...

I just finished season 5 and started 6, and boy, did he start losing weight in the OP picture?

They drop the morbid obesity thing later on.

That's right, Lewis hasn't been on in a while. While I love Kevin Micheal Richardson, I also enjoy Richard Kind.
He does have some good supporting jokes.

What's everyone's opinion on Garfield?

a lot of side characters went unused for of the series run. for these nonsensical jokes that he's in they would have normally used some unnamed rando character made up for the situation before
so they just decided to use him. might have something to do with it being cheaper to reuse assets or them just having fun

him being everywhere honestly makes the world seem smaller. but him randomly working at the dog track was funny since they address that they are randomly using him

>What's everyone's opinion on Garfield?
It's a cute idea for him to be mayor of Langley. I actually really enjoy when the more absurd aspects of the show become part of a loose canon, like Jack Smith becoming the new Krampus. I'm just guessing but it seems like someone behind the scenes is pulling for less continuity so the show is more friendly for syndication, because it seems like there's less and less of that, and more one-off episodes that even outright contradict previously explicit details in the show.

the real question is why does Klaus need a C plot every episode

kinda wish Toshi's dad became a new Lewis

Well Tuttle had a long hard road
1. He was a background neighbor, then dropped off like a lot of the neighborhood.
2. Then his wife died and he binged ate, and started gaining almost a literal Ton of weight.
3. (Off screen) lost a almost all of it, and went back to his season 1 chubby self and became a side side side character of the show

Contractually obligated to pay Baker. They even joke about him and Hayley getting a single line and getting paid.

user I love you

Im glad Steve getting more shota time

>why does Klaus need a C plot every episode
If I was an AD writer, Klaus would probably be my favorite to write. Stan Smith family change what they need to fit the plot but they still have their core personality.

With Klaus, I feel his core personality is desperation to distract himself from his reality of being a fish in a bowl.

Klaus's character has made a bizarre shift from stereotypical german to "dirtbag obsessed with Ed Hardy and ICP who won't stop talking about his 'boys'"

It's fine because there really isn't much comedy to be mined from "he's german and a fish" but it still strikes me as a strange direction to take him in.

>ICP who won't stop talking about his 'boys'"
*Sigh*
I have a friend who is an underground rapper. I give him support when I can, going to shows. Most the show's have an ICP crowd. I can see why he would gravitate, with the whole "family" thing.

I do believe everything bad about ICP and the community, but I've never had a problem with them.

>trying to make Tuttle the new principal Lewis
Is there a reason why they are trying to replace Lewis? I too have noticed he hasn't been featured as much recently.

Not the guy you're talking to but I feel like the writers of this show get stuck in ruts of using the same characters over and over, ignoring that they have 15 seasons and an entire towns-worth of characters to draw on. I would prefer they didn't replace Lewis with Tuttle as their go-to secondary character, but not consider Lewis the only one to use either.

>not wanting more bing bong
you some kinda faggot OP?

>i loev baby toy 4eva
way to completely miss the point of the character

His wife was dead before he was introduced.

>Bob is introduced in "Homeland Insecurity", where he mentions his wife had passed away of "the big C" - when a giant letter 'C' from a sign had fallen on her. Francine and Tuttle both refer to Bob's wife as Betty. Bob is one of the guests at Stan's 'pool party' that becomes a terrorist prison camp.
Some'bitch your right

Richard Kind desperately needs the VO checks to pay for his nephew's prostate transplant.

Someone needs to tell why Jeff appears and disappears in multiple episodes.

He smokes weed a lot m not the thing you do out in the open in the Smith house.

yeah i thought that was cool
