What's the point of this guy if Tony Stark has 40+ Iron Man suits and has licensed his tech to the DoD as War Machine? Like Stark's sitting on a baker's dozen power suits and they've still got Sam with a jetpack and a pair of flappy bois.
What's the point of this guy if Tony Stark has 40+ Iron Man suits and has licensed his tech to the DoD as War Machine...
>>Yea Forums
Lack of black Avengers.
I think Falcon is supposed to be faster and more maneuverable than the Iron Man suit.
Bingo. For proof just watch the Civil War airport battle. He was flying loops around Stark and Rhodes.
He's just carrying a jet pack, probably drone. He weighs less than an iron suit, of course he's faster.
He also has aerodynamic wings instead of just being a chunkyblock being forcably propelled against the wind.
Sometimes you need a superhero taller than 5'2"
How edgy
I'm going to go out and say it, there's no way he wouldn't catch a bullet in the head or legs. ffs Bucky shot him with two machine guns and he just flew away.
Because Tony's just one man. What if he dies? You could just as easily be like "y have wintur soldier f'n we gots cap" or same for t'challa. All three enhanced soldiers. The more the merrier when you're defending an entire fucking planet. Plus he has actual military/combat experience, so he's a more tactical thinker than Tony. There's a reason Cap is the leader, even if they're all using Stark tech.
affirmative action token diversity hire.
There's that one scene in Civil War where he launches a drone or something into Iron Man's face and it actually knocks him down. So he has that.
>What's the point of this guy if Tony Stark
Well, Stark doesn't have any actual combat training, is incapable of following orders and OH YEAH CREATED FUCKING ULTRON.
Falcon > Stark
And if you don't agree, you are probably a racist.
You know Falcon used to be a pimp
in super hero movies, heroes never catch bullets unless they're bulletproof, in which case they get shot at constantly to show how powerful they are.
What happened to war machine should happen in every single movie. After n9ne movies these guys should look scar the fuck up and barely hanging on.
>shot him with two machine guns
Machine guns are notoriously inaccurate weapons, especially when they're SMGs and you're squeezing the trigger.
You couldn't hit a barn at 300m with that type of shooting.
get out casul
Any actual combat training? I guess 5+ years of actively being Ironman wasnt enough huh?
>Stealth
Falcon's flight is quiet. In aerial combat he can maneuver without being detected, unlike the Stark suits that do that trademark REE every time they're engaged. Glave didn't hear him coming when Falcon drop kicked him. Falcon can also take off and, more importantly, land without everyone in the tri-state area hearing or seeing him. Stark did allegedly make a stealth suit between the Avengers and IM3, but it never saw combat. Perhaps being as quiet as Falcon causes him to shed too many critical weapon systems.
>Agility
Although the Stark suits are definitely faster in a straight line, (the Mark III could cruise with F-22s) Falcons agility, and nimble change of direction without bleeding any speed makes him a far quicker flier in low altitude or urban environments. Think of Titan, Sokovia, or the Battle of NY where Stark constantly found himself being knocked out of the sky. Not a problem Falcon has to deal with
Comparing Stark or WM to Falcon is like comparing a fighter jet to a scout copter. You could do it, sure. But why?
Why are we talking about Falcon's harness when Vulture clearly made the better device?
>ADRIAN TOOMES BUILT THIS IN A GARAGE WITH A PILE OF SCRAP!!!!!
I mean that's the case for all the non-superhuman members. Why do BW and Hawkeye run around every fight shooting guns and arrows when even Pepper Pots can use a suit? Shit, even Tony could get more shit done in one of Tony's suits then on foot with just his shield.
Vulture was slow, loud, and a massive target. No way Falcon loses a dogfight to Vulture.
he's War Machine but took Dex/Agi instead of Str
Even Steve*
>Slow
Bullshit it was. Toomes was fast enough to catch up with Stark's cargo plane
>Loud
Also incorrect because the thing was built for the specific purpose to stealthy fly in and steal alien salvage. As Toomes said, "UNDER THE RADAR!"
You're judging it by it's size. Falcon however probably has more maneuverability
God, Vulture is so good in homecoming, never liked him in the comics
toomes didnt make any of his suit. i bet he cant even repair it himself!
>Stark's cargo plane
Cargo planes aren't fast bro, especially not after take off or at low altitude. That feat doesn't match Falcon climbing after War Machine at full throttle. Falcon's thrust to weight ratio is insane.
As for the noise he's not insanely loud, but definitely louder than Falcon. Propellers are never totally quiet when they're objectives are to displace air and create lift.
Well I was under the assumption Stark's plane was faster than the average plane, not to mention a bunch of other dumb shit since he designed it.
Also if Sam was really so fast he would have caught Rhodey
In Spider-Man TAS, he was like some vampire that stole youth from men. Definitely an improvement.
I also enjoyed what little he did in the PS4 game
the detachable feathers is always cool!
? He was catching Rhodey, that's why Vision blasted at him.
Man that joke really flew over your head
like Vision's beam over Flacon's
The g forces that iron man faces make falcon a chump. Even if falcon had his bird telepathy he couldn't outclass Tony in any feat.
I do wonder how Vulture would fare against Iron Man. Or Falcon, for that matter.
Well considering what Peter Parker can bench press and the fact that Toomes kick the shit out of him, I say his odds are good.
Terribly in both cases. Stark is better armored, faster and better armed. Falcon is more agile, probably also faster, and arguably better armed.
Peter can't fly
He shows up.
You would still rather have a powerhouse like Iron-man on your team as oppose to Falcon.
Sure, but Peter was just beginning to actually cut his teeth on a bigger threat than random thugs or a Captain America that was pulling his punches. Add to it that he certainly didn't want to hurt the father of the girl he has a massive crush on.
Still frustrating to think Peter has yet to win a super hero fight, even in his own movie. Toomes basically K.O.-ed himself
Everyone here complains about that, but I personally like seeing Peter fail and grow. He's a kid. I care about his character. I think we'll get payoff in Far From Home. FUCK I can't wait to see Mysterio.
I'll stick with adult Peter Parker thank you. This rookie meme is old
>This rookie meme is old
How the fuck is it old? In both Webb and Raimi series, Spider-Man is essentially a professional, seasoned veteran by the end of the first movie. Seeing him grows as a Spider-Man as well as Peter is something fresh on the big screen. Everyone bitched about them casting such a young looking actor but I think it's clear Marvel is playing the long game.
High School/Rookie Peter Parker is only favored by casuals whom have never read a single fucking issue of Spider-Man, and it perpetually keeps fucking over the character in the worst sense of status quo ever. It's that sense of refusing to have Peter grow up, something beyond that worn out arc, that gave us One More Day.
I wonder how he would fare against Ant-Man
1.- It was an ALIEN pile of scrap
2.- He was slow and noisy
>yfw Into the Spider-Verse had the best Peter Parker rendition
>"lol black latino we wuz spoodermangz and shieeet" forever from now on because progressive multiculturalism fuck drumpf #resistance
Why do hate ItSV Miles so much?
Terribly. Vulture's pack was a cobbled together piece of junk that exploded on him when he pushed it too hard.
Bro what are you on?
How is wanting to watch Peter grow up, refusing to let Peter grow up? How the fuck do you contradict yourself this hard?
The best part was that it showed Peter's heart. He went above and beyond to save him.
Tony would have just let Vulture fry with a quip and never thought of him again.
Most importantly he's aerodynamic. If the suit loses power as we see with Rhodes, he's dead weight and drops like a brick smashing into the ground.
Falcon meanwhile if he looses his thrust can still glide and if the wing is damaged like in Winter Soldier he can pop a chute and make it safely back down.
>Well I was under the assumption Stark's plane was faster than the average plane
I'd agree that that is aa safe assumption, it took off from a being mounted to the side of a sky scrapper.

Falcon is a specially trained, combat proven soldier who's instincts, skills, and training, coupled with specialized armaments, let him keep up with literal superhumans.
Tony is a lot of things, and that can get in his way sometimes... Iron Man 3 and the Nanotech armor are him trying to do too much and his equipment failing as a result. He's brilliant and the suit is a marvel, but he expends a crapload of resources and takes way more hits than he has to to solve a problem.
That's why you need both. There's things one and the other cannot do and they cover each other. That's why chess boards have multiple pieces.
That's not a contradiction, we're talking about being sick of seeing Peter getting pushed back to the starting line. Let him stay grown up for fuck sake. We've seen this shit a thousand times already. Read a damn book
>>war machine is just falcon + ironman tech
shame he job so much.
>Iron Man 3 and the Nanotech armor are him trying to do too much and his equipment failing as a result. He's brilliant and the suit is a marvel, but he expends a crapload of resources and takes way more hits than he has to to solve a problem.
he also have a massive guilt/messiah complex that causes him to massively screw up on at least once per movie.
He seems like it for sure, given what we saw him pull off in WS. That's why he was able to duck out of the way of Vision's beam, and Rhodey got knocked out of the sky with it.
>in super hero movies, heroes never catch bullets unless they're bulletproof, in which case they get shot at constantly to show how powerful they are.
Not strictly true, but it's a related phenomenon: Cap was shot and wounded multiple times in the Winter Soldier, and still completed his mission to hack the Helicarriers, to show how much perseverance he has.
Diversity in Stark corporation. Also he talks with eagles.
See Even worse, just see how ANTS fucked up Falcon wings
>Also he talks with eagles.
It's a drone. Giving it a cute pet name like "Redwing" doesn't make it a bird.
Vultures outfit and suit is far superior. The bomber jacket just makes it perfect.
Also, would be cool if Falcon had an aerodynamic mask instead of just goggles.
People claim he's noisy, yet no one seems to notice him during capers.
People claim he's slow yet he has no problems reaching moving speedtrains and planes.
Thanks to Vision and him War Machine is disabled so I think he is a great asset to the team.
If only tony stark could learn to put parachutes into his suits.
It's funny how rhodes falling got hurt but stark falling in iron man 1 after taking a tank shell didn't get hurt at all.
The black panther gimmick of redirecting kinetic energy didn't exist so he should've just died.
Cap is a super soldier and as such can operate at near full strength while wounded and any wound he gets will heal without any after effects given time and rest.
>Cap is a super soldier and as such can operate at near full strength while wounded
That's not what the visuals of the scene communicated. Cap was visibly suffering in his abilities due to the wounds he was taking, and was still powering through anyway. It seems like it was less about his powers and more about the determination and indefatigable spirit that made him a hero in the first place. I'm not really interested in having a long argument about this, you can check the scene and see what I mean.
Would a parachute actually support the weight of a War Machine suit?
powerlevel fags hate when you argue for unquantifiables like "perseverence" and "the human spirit"
Because we're talking about combat grade suits. Vulture suit is meant for thievery and while you can fight in it, it's still doing something it's not built for.
There are thanks that drop with chutes. And it's acceptable that his suit was shit, it was an old model after all.
Tony is the one to blame in the end, letting his friend ride the old model with no seatbelts.
I feel like cap is a bad example there because he might need a custom-reinforced suit to use it properly. He’s just strong enough that he stands a good chance of fucking up the system on a normal suit if he loses control somehow. Remember, he can rip logs in half with his bare hands.
This could be an interesting detail to revisit. Hell, I've been daydreaming about a superpowered vigilante protecting victims of human trafficking.
Bantering with Bucky
>falcon: hey guys can i join you? i can fly and i have military training and...
>stark: i'm iron man
>falcon: yeah but i can help you
>stark: i'm
>stark: iron man
>falcon: there's no "i" in team? strength in numbers? friendship is magic?
>stark: I AM IRON MAN
>falcon: whatever man, i'm out
>stark: maybe if half the team dies we'll call you
he is to 'a wingpack' as hawkeye is to 'a bow'
Yeah.. No..
The Falcon is why they need to stick to the comic references and make more logical ( time continuum based ) Movies.
1940- 2010 in like 10 years of movies that are 2 to 3 hours tops.
They would have been more successful just going weekly TV shows. Or at least will now. Some of you know or remember when I posted here. I been busy talking to others..
But hes the only one..
I talk to a lot of people.
I dont always have to be so straight forward with it.. But I can show you many ways on how I am. And have been since I told people on here that Chadwick would be playing the Black Panther.
But trust me.. We have out own way of "'seeing you too"
We all go to school. Not everyone can get their Valley Victorian a job at ESPN.
I keep unironically accidentally calling him 'Black Falcon'
Just saying "Hi"
Why didn't he just shit on Thanos' head from above?
So why would I give yout this information now.. Do I want you to look at my banking information. Or do you want to find out the hard way.
Just sharing...
this.
Can you find the art work that I am mocking?
>alien and SHIELD tech
>pile of scrap
Post it if you can.
guess
But be-careful where you walk.
And if you cant read it upside down..
Just know its where I live for now.
I thought that was his name?
For now..
Like black widow and the gay one?
Let's be real, Black Anything sounds like a cool name but they won't use it anymore.
Black Fury
Black Marvel
Black Spider
Some try very hard..
But to try...
Trying is not success.
Bye [Waves hand]
And the bitch crushin too.
what is the point of a soldier when you have another soldier right there?
Cap likes Sam and they're bros and he's the one person Steve will trust the most, that's literally it.
Cap is too conservative and needs a wingman.
When's he get a solo movie?
During Captain Hydra's phase
If Peter can wear a suit without issue I think Steve could do.
Test
Falcon was always lame. He was lame in the comics (to the point he had to get a huge overhaul in MCU) and he is now still lame in the MCU.
