The story with the Gardnerverse is that there's a bunch of hot broads my dude made up with the last name of "Gardner", and he had them being drawn sexy by many different commissoners. Over time he started forging new girls as family and acquaintances, and they also got sexed on, then other commissioners started pitching in I guess so their characters got worked into the fold a little bit. Then for some reason he keeps paying me to draw his girls even though i don't draw him porn. So I try to humanize them with little comic scenarios as a bonus, and we are both in agreement that it can only make the boner stronger.

Many people other than myself have been hammering on him to put together a proper archive, but he has some imgur galleries around here somewhere. Check his twitter @gardnerverse and see if he has any links for the imgur galleries. I'm sure he's happy to share if you badger him.

Are you trying to go for a comic strip sort of thing with your story? Or a graphic novel of sorts (that you can see getting published)? Cause if it's the latter I really suggest you not starting so far back in these characters lives/timeline. Yeah, character development is great and all. But if your inciting incident happens so far away from when the story starts, people WILL get bored-and wonder "what's the point"? In medias res is key. Flashbacks are great, you just gotta know when to use them properly.

As for when it starts, as I've rewritten the story the inciting incident is about this time in their history. I've got a lot of timeline options to bounce around to for fun shorter side story stuff, but the discrepancy between the previous start point and this one really isn't much. It just didn't set a good precedent for tone the way I had it, this also makes room for a more funner development.

That is my character, Cassidy. Some people seem to have taken a shine to her and her antics, so I'm working to oblige them with a proper comic.

Keep working on cleaning up your linework.
Make a solid decision about fanservice and stick with the direction that's going in.
Consider drawing at a larger scale if you don't already, eventually you'll start thinking "what if this were printed and sold"

That's because it's old stuff. It's from back when the comic was just TF2 and StarCraft doodles without speech bubbles. Jo used to drew Rule 63 on the engineer(s). Said engineers started being called as "Engie" and became one of the comics OCs, and then officially named as Angie once Jo ran out of ideas and introduced a named cast to the comic.

I think the previous thread had more people who just outright didn't get any of the setup. I was actually starting to doubt myself for a minute. But it was the first step on me figuring out how to do a comic page acceptably so I figure it was just lack of breathing room in the composition to pick up everything I threw in, and by itself without greater context to lean on they might think i'm just being crass.

The comic was probably just too condensed of a sample for a first reading, I was being selfish and wanted to pack it all into one page. It's close but I did have to dial in a little more humanity in later iterations. When I add some context you might come around. Who knooows.

You can still improve as an artist and make things that people enjoy independent of its lewd content. Take Incase, for example. Plenty of people read Alfie for the porn AND the story, not to mention the art.

Lots of professionals in the animation industry- who are currently paid to make actual cartoons that go on actual television- have drawn and profited off porn in the past. Even if you "abandon everything and do porn forever," you can easily live off the proceeds of that career, but it's very unlikely that you'll actually end up doing porn forever.

The so called "white flight" wasn't so much that minorities were actively bringing crime, but more than more and more opportunities were being given solely to white people to build new communities with government funds so they could build wealth
The building of wealth snowballed, where other communities suffered because increasing populations and a lack of movement options made everything harder

So white communities became richer, schools became better, children became better prepared for the rest of their life--wealth snowballed to where even if you don't mean to prevent minorities from entering your neighborhood now they might not have the built wealth to do so

And as far as employment goes, affirmative action in the workplace hasn't actually lead to much more diversity in the workplace
For the most part, most minorities do find work in minority led or focused businesses rather than traditional employers because they still just don't implement those diversity minded practices
When your quota states you should try to hire X many minorities, that's what companies do--even though affirmative action is a bit more complex than that
But that doesn't mean they bring meaningful change to their workplaces, just the change that is required

The current generation didn't exist 50 years ago, but their parents and grandparents did, and they benefited from the institution. And the institution isn't completely dead
So even if systematic laws aren't in place, that doesn't mean they never existed
But systematic oppressive laws DO still exist, laws that were drafted and put into legislation from those eras DO still exist
It's not a completely different society now that there's a "completely different generation"

Well hopefully this is helpful, but in terms of websites like this that have information forms, it's a situation where you can only do one thing at a time, input data, then flip back to the thread and read more, then back to the form to type more. When i tried this with a browser app so many years ago, you basically had to copy paste every time you were scared that flipping to something else would clear the entry forms. Which the browser apps would do anytime they got an excuse to, usually from an errant screen tap resulting in clicking a link.

As a step up, Mimi would remember the post, but it wouldn't remember the name i put in, and refused to add more than one post reference.

Clover by comparison, remembers the post, the last name i put in, and let's me put in any number of posts. Image boards are almost more about bickering and digression than images, so I'm glad this one got it right.

Yeah, that jibes with my experience. What I'm trying to do is to put the post form on the bottom, and have a button that just hides it. So you can select a post for reply, hide it, then select another post, and it would keep adding postnumbers to the end of the text, like you do on the desktop.

Originally I wanted a close button to reset the form, but the problem with that is the form takes up a third of the screen, and the mobile suck-my-dick typing area takes up another third. So a "hide form" button is necessary for multi-post quoting, cause otherwise you can't see shit from the posts if both the textinput and the text form are up.

But then I need another button for *resetting* the form (which the close button used to do). Also some way to prevent the user from navigating away if the post form is not empty.

My backdrop is always comedy, it's just how I tend to construct things. However, I will attempt at intervals to extrude dramatic developments, hopefully without embarassing the entire world with dumpy melodramatics. I think I've learned to be careful and restrained enough to pull it off. We'll see.

The development does start out in a kiiiiind of slice of life kind of way, I have ideas for standalone bits that are floatier and less directed than the normal progression I have planned, but those won't be particularly lengthy and will more just be for fun/supplemental/worldbuilding purposes.

Yeahhh... Not improving is the comicker's curse. The reason I knew I couldn't seriously start before now. When committing to a project, you do get better in some respects, such as clarity, but fundamental improvements require regular time and energy for experimentation, but suddenly the time and energy for that isn't as easy to get your hands on anymore when you're on a deadline.

The last poison pill is the subconscious drive to be consistent, even at the cost of improvement.
