But this one stood out because I clearly remembered Lucy's original expression.

ANYWAYS, onto the HUGE ass retcon of alot of shit in chapter 6. I browsed through it, mostly adding more shit to make Paulo x Daisy more plausiable, Lucy look sympathetic, Augustus "closer" or "more concerned" for Lucy, Sandy looks more like a bitch and Mike is even more pissy then ever.

Like, who even does this for their webcomic? I get retconning a page or two but pretty much a whole volume? Major pages that otherwise are shitty because you can't write yourself out of a paper bag? Honestly I would like to see if we can do comparisons.

Honestly I didn't remember this page at all - it felt like a rando page slipped in because I only remember Paulo coldly walking off.

There is alot more focus on Daisy and her reactions to Paulo generally - like added in panels, changed up dialogue - things that seemed like that were alot harsher in the original draft then the softened "new" draft.

Like they were even trying to make Madison more sympathetic or less bitchy.

There is no good reason. Even in "It's All in the Mind" Daisy was hyper-critical of Lucy up until this page right after Lucy had a sperg-fit and suddenly they're cool with each other.
I know Mike was acting dickish in the last few pages but it still feels so weird for Daisy to just ditch him outright after years of chasing his dick without some sort of lead-up.

If we're talking about this chapter right now Mike has been growing increasingly insufferable as of late because Sandy won't text back. Slamming Paulo's face into the lunch table, screaming at Sue in the hallway, and now this. Even Daisy's got her limits. Granted Lucy is still a huge bitch but that Taekwondo chapter a while back had a trademark BCB dramatic shouting contest between her and Daisy so I guess she's more sympathetic towards her.

That's Liam, he was somebody's OC. I wasn't around for it, but from what I've seen of that one non-canon comic, he's the only character who isn't Lucy that's allowed to be as much of a Mary Sue as she is. It was a while ago, but I think the plot ends with Lucy telling Mike that he doesn't own her, one of the first scenes of many where the comic tries to pretend that it wasn't Lucy taking Mike for granted. If I recall correctly, that comic was a BCI, so if anybody has it saved, now is a good time for a storytime. Taeshi herself drew some porn of Liam and Lucy at some point, either that or a very good imitator.

You're having a laugh. Post a link. I've started looking on my own but the oldest keeps redirecting me to I guess what the old urls were. Reading what's left of the old information page was neat, though, as well as the fact that there used to be arc names even for volume 1 stuff.

He used to be able to bring the heat, mainly with Lucy, but he got softer as the comic went on. He still does it sometimes, like in that BCI where he buys Haley a gift or when he flips off David over text. Plus he's pissed because Paulo scared him.
