Probably. This ended up with the obvious parring, Ma3 will likely be controversial based on -who- Gary ends up with. Or maybe he'll just end up in an orgy with no resolution.

In my opinion Yuki was the choice for Gary that made the most sense from a story point of view. She liked him first when there was seemingly nothing special about him and women weren't all over him, she had a crazy reason why she couldn't be with him that she wanted to fix about herself, she broke up with him for selfless reasons, and she's eccentric enough to be the girlfriend of the lead.

She was also the only character who couldn't be paired with anyone else and it make sense. She was a broken character who wanted to change for the guy she loved, then didn't, and ended up being thrown together with someone else in a way that didn't make any sense.

I think it's clear just how much they weren't invested in this story. Hell their fanbase wasn't either, the forums are nothing but people complaining about what a shit character Chloe was and how absolutely insane this plot got. I think everyone expected magic hijinks but normally that returns to somewhat of a status quo. This shit took itself far too seriously despite how many "jokes" it had.

Also no offense to the artist who took over but man they cannot do sexy. Cartoony they can do just fine but when they try to do anything sexy it looks so out of place.

All of this author's comics are terrible. It's incredible that despite the sheer of number of comics they put out, not a single one is good.

I was kind of interested to see how Teddy would go back to being normal after getting turned into a succubus turbo slut, but they copped out and just had him be gay all along in the end. The first page and last page of every arc is mirrored, so if the pattern holds it should have Gary waking up between two girls as the last panel. I bet that's what we get with no explanation.

I highly doubt that was the context the comic had in mind. I mean, honestly, as long as the comic's been going, Gary, Zii, and DiDi should have fucked together long before the finale.

I'm a bit disappointed that there was that whole mini plot with Zii being secretly attracted to Gary and being freaked out about it that was completely dropped when she got together with didi. Felt like that was working its way to the three way ending, but now there's no chance of it.

Dan's issue is that he just seems like a genuinely nice dude who does his own thing but I think he allows himself to get influenced too much by outside factors (i.e. things people say to him) and he generally doesn't make much of a thing about it, it's just sort of something that's always existed in the comic.

Although I do take issue with the most recent story arc because having a genuinely transgender character in a story where everyone can magically change genders on a whim just seems dumb.

Yeah, turns out that Peggy's ex from college is a James Bond-style secret agent. They met up for a date and Peggy got swept up in a gunfight and ended up keeping her ex's attacker from dying when her ex shot them and tried to get her to escape.

A few strips later, she showed up, flirted with Sonya, and Sonya called Zii to say that she quit and was gonna be out with the agent for a while.
