I think that with Jei's backstory revealed, the next time he and Usagi meet is going to be their final encounter. That would be their fourth battle (Usagi was not around for Jeinazuma) and we all know what four also means in Japanese.
While I agree that anything but one more final encounter would be overdoing it, one major appearance of Jei for each 6 years of the comic is far from making me bored with him.

My two bits on Jei: After you read something once, it's way easier to see all the strings used to pull a story together, like Jei's power creep to make Grasscutter epic. Jeinazuma was a shocking twist the first time, and probably the best period for the character. But the body hopping really opens up a can of worms. Hama didn't have much impact when he became Jei, and returns to the original character design. I trust Stan to keep future jei stories interesting, he's been doing this a long time, but as is, had inazuma been exorcised and have that be the end of it, that would have been a satisfactory end to the character.
We're still owed a Sasuke/Jei battle.
