Really, because it strikes me as very generic tie-in art that's been ubiquitous in low budget tie-in comics for like 20 years now.

Rough start, but decent enough ending. My main problem is that it just felt the wrong genre to me- its a very standard, clearly-aimed-at-a-younger-crowd, Disney-style Coming of Age story. I swear I've seen stories with these exact story-beats a million times before. But I get I'm not the intended audience for this, and it would probably be quite fun for kids who havent seen literally a million Disney movies yet.

This was considerably better than Super-sons, but it would have benefited from more word-building. Mera interal conflict about whatever is worth killing an innocent man for the sake of her people would have been a lot more compelling if what actually saw the conditions her people were leaving under Atlantean rule.

This feel really "fanfictiony". The type of story a young audience will like. I am not saying it like a dismissive thing, but why maybe it doesn't resonate with me or another anons in this thread. Overall is a good comic. This type of stories add variety and give characters that doesn't had a spot in the regular continuity, one.
