This is Rebecca Sugar and the crews fault, all of this is. They treat her as if she's a major character in almost every other media except for the show. From cons to promotions to interviews to quick little doodles, not to mention the SDCC posters she was with the rest of the characters with and even a fucking DOVE AD and how much they go on and on about her in interviews. If you never watched the show, and just looked at all the other material, you'd assume that Jasper is the muscle of the Crystal Gems, with the screen time to match that.

Should have also mentioned that her development clearly isn't finished and she is inevitably going to get more focus next season, unlike toffee who wasn't ever a very multidimensional character and is probably never coming back. So far she had been handled better that most of the other characters on the show, she's used as a "punching bag" but that's because she's intended to be self destructive and tragic, would you have preferred that she got the barn/bismuth treatment?
You and I both know that's not true. Rebecca and other crewniverse members expressed love for her and treated her as a major character even before she became a fan favorite, her corruption was just the midpoint of her story where she hit rock bottom and what was revealed about her + how she was portrayed in that episode left her open for an eventual return, and she wouldn't have just been left out of the loop on Pink Diamond forever. It was apparent to anyone with common sense that she'd be back. You have nothing to prove otherwise either, your autistic conspiracies are funny though.
I ship them platonically and expect them to continue furthering each other's growth next season, I feel like they could end up having one of the best developed relationships in the show. They have been played as foils and struggle with similar internal conflict, Jasper needs to learn the same lessons in accepting herself and her origins that Amethyst did in season 3
