Sam's voice in the cartoon was so much better than in the Telltale games.

I like the cartoon more in general, its high energy just makes the writing and characters feel so much better than the stilted slow presentation of the click and point games.

for the anecdote, the numbers Max used were the corresponding script numbers, so each object would get a different one. They had to change it to "that stupid object" for the talking version though.

Steve's already been asked plenty of times about this. The main reason he hasn't made a Sam and Max movie with Pixar is because the tone of their series is completely at odds with the usual sort of stuff Pixar makes. Pixar just isn't the right studio for the Freelance Police.
