Why not? I love these music-inspired comics, they're really weird and cool.
Unless it's one of those Blue Water celebrity comics. That shit can fuck right off.

Andrew Nelson
I haven't seen a TA storytime in a while, so you made me google and see if Young recently died. Is this worth $5 if one can find it at a bookstore?
>No one will read because no capes but oh well it's friday
That, and it's one of those mid 2000s Vertigo OGN's.
No one read those.

William Lewis
Ha, I did New Super-Man the other day but have been away for awhile.
I haven't read this before but I imagine it's worth a fiver, seems alright so far.

Ah, I didn't click on those because I had recently read that series.
The last one I saw was Young Justice, and I'm under the impression that those storytimes got aborted

Not an OGN but I think I'm the only person currently in Yea Forums who read Beware the Creeper from that time Vertigo was reimagining random DC characters like Deadman or El Diablo.
Jaxon Rivera
Yeah that was about when life happened for me, and I haven't really been around since then.
Everything's OK though.

I remember that. That was the time when the Vertigo office and the regular DC office were 100% split and unable to reference anything from each other. Then in 2006 Didio declared that everything published under Vertigo was never canon and all in it's own universe (and tried to sell that one issue of Action Comics in 2010 as Death's "dcu debut").
The offices traded Deadman for Jonah Hex, and we got a shitty Bruce Jones series and Didio's favourite western from P&G.
Shit, I just remembered that Swamp Thing's arm was all they were allowed to show because Berger had also decided to clam down on what few dcu properties she still had original access to (literally just ST and Hellblazer) because all the "vertigo" launch titles had long been cancelled and reabsorbed (Doom Patrol, Animal Man).
I hope things are going better

I think Dysart was writing Swamp Thing around this time. Or he was when it started, but it was cancelled by the time this was released.
He didn't focus on Tefe

This is making me wish again that Unknown Soldier lasted longer.
Maybe I should read some of his Valiant stuff, even though I don't any interest in that universe.

Have you ever read Delano's "Ghostdancing"? It got added to (and ripped from) comixology unlimited. It was very much that (like a lot of Delano stuff).
Read it if you are into that kind of stuff.
"Faultlines" was also neat, but didn't use its full potiential. It hasn't been ripped.
Eli Brooks

I'm in the mood for some Vertigo shit so I'll definitely check that out, thanks user
John Cooper
Well that was OK I suppose. Probably wouldn't have read the whole thing if the art wasn't so good. Reminds me of a lot of YA novels I read in middle school, in both a good and bad way.
I think it works best as a supplement to the album, which is really great.
Thanks for humoring me.
Evan Lopez
The first couple issues of Faultlines gave me a weird warm feeling, but it doesn't stick the landing.
Ghostdancing on the other hand, that's something weird entirely. It's closer to the stuff he was writing in Hellblazer (Fear Machine, John's ancestoral legacy), you know, the stuff Ennis ignored completely.
Jordan Fisher
>Neil Young is my favorite artist
honestly? same. thanks for the storytime btw
