I also double checked the folder and uploaded the missing story arcs. I was missing the second volume of Mother Panic and the first arc of Cave Carson.
Doom Patrol is easily becoming my top cape show (rivaling Daredevil in the process). It isn't afraid to embrace the weirdness and doesn't poke fun at itself unless it is genuinely appropriate. The characters are all spot and I genuinely enjoy watching each one (even Jane). If it maintains this quality for the rest of the season I genuinely think it would overtake Daredevil. Other amazing Yea Forums shows are below.

I feel like I threw a personnel chair under the bus today. I needed to contact a PC and they have been dodgy for months. I had sent a reminder message earlier this week and gave them a time limit for this Saturday. That said, I didn't trust them to get the job done so I contacted a professor that held the position before them and asked for assistance or someone else that could help. She then decided to forward my message to the dean and then he started freaking the fuck out to my coworker because I was on my lunch. I feel dirty.

Yeah, pretty much my thoughts as well. Obviously it's not a 1:1 adaptation of Morrison's work, but it takes enough from it and other versions of the Doom Patrol to be true to the spirit of the comics and an entertaining show on its own (I've got three of my friends turned onto the comics due to how much they like the show). Even shit I questioned like Cyborg's inclusion has been shown to worked out. It's probably the best version of Vic done so far. I don't mind Jane, though I can see why some anons dislike her, but I think she's really gonna win people over after the Underground episode.

issue #12 (not in this trade) actually did come out, but MONTHS after issue #11. After that, there's been silence about how the book might continue.
I low key kind of hate Way for forcing everything to do a dumb crossover.
The same thing happened when Vertigo first started (The Children's Crusade), and it was an editorial and narrative disaster too

That is a hard question to answer. I haven't really given Morrison's Doom Patrol a real critical read (just passing certain issues) but I have enough knowledge to recognize how much Way is trying to emulate him in a way. I know he might be going for homage, but it feels like he is going a step too far. Way is definitely a competent writer and capable introducing some fantastic concepts in his own work, but I feel like he's writing to a demographic I want no part of. It's very weird to describe.

Yeah, it pretty much fucked Shade and Cave pretty hard. Shade had zero month-long delays/slips in its schedule.
But because Milk Wars was going to happen, every book had to wait until Way caught up with Doom Patrol to set it up. Only, DP kept getting delayed. Eventually the other books had a 3-4 month hiatus until Milk Wars, and that only hurt the sales numbers even more when they relaunched after the event.
Hell, Doom Patrol #10 released just before Milk Wars started, and DP #11 directly ends with a "now read MW" but had been delayed for so long that Milk Wars had ended a few months before.

That is the only reason I would not want to live on Danny Street. The Doom Patrol's variety of villains are innately more terrifying than anything the Justice League deals with. Sure they got Despero, and Starro but the Doom Patrol has Animal-Vegetable-Mineral-Man, The Brain & Monsieur Mallah, Number None, or Mister Nobody. I'll take Justice League thank you.

The fact my passive-aggressiveness hasn't come out in an email is one of my few personal achievements. Any time I feel close I have a coworker look it over to make sure it's an inoffensive yet entirely direct as possible. Working in the administration/office world has been a fascinating experience. I just sat in a two hour meeting where people voted on adopting a campus wide project that hadn't even been pilot tested at our university yet. It was absolutely insane and I wanted to scream....but I wasn't allowed because I was merely meant to represent someone else when our issue came up. I would love to hear other corporate stories. I thought they were boring but it is a fascinating dissection of this insane cultist culture.

The Superman run sounds interesting.
I always like peaceful Superman.
The art is great in Madman but it kind of meanders a bit and is a bit undecided between a more horror flavor (more in the very, very beginning really) and more conventional superheroics and strangeness.
I'm too bitter to be a fair judge of Flex Mentallo.
But I found the ending a bit bromide.
There's a Nietzche thing I don't fully get about tragedy as embracing the suffering of life that I think is much better than the Flex Mentallo sort of thing.
Maybe I should reread Flex Mentallo again because I don't remember enough details.

Bendis' thesis on superheroes in modern culture. THe art is great (if you don't like Omeing i totally get it), the characters are layered, and the story builds to something genuinely interesting. This series establishes its own lore and history and by golly Bendis nailed it.

I think S2 of Legion can grow on you but I've got ton of stuff to catch up on to indulge a rewatch.
You should check out Justice League Action, it's not as good as JLU/JL but it's got a lot of the same writers. There's a mega of all the episodes floating around if you want to be linked.

Oh I absolutely love Justice League Action. It pleasantly suberted my expectations for what the show was going to be and I gotta say I loved it. The fact the second episode involved an intergalactic taxi escorting Mr. Mind to prison while being hunted by Lobo is amazing.
