Spiderman won animated film of the year over Pixar.

>Didn't make as much as Captain Marvel.

Look who wants the moon.

I dunno, look fair to me. Brie is waifu.

Captain Marvel had a bigger budget and I would wager a bigger marketing campaign

Good thing earnings from the box office don't speak for the quality of the films. Spidey made enough to survive and expand. If anything it will keep them humble to continue making quality products.

Imagine being this pathetically obsessed with how well a corporation does. Fuck off and get a life, spastic

Meanwhile in reality the sequel was handed over to amateurs and is supposed to set up all-female spinoffs and other gimmicky nonsense

>Better movie made more money
How is that not fair?

Minions got a billion dollars
People like the lowest quality shit and that’s what gets the most popular. Explains pop music and Jake Paul and shit. That’s how it is

>He thinks live action capeshit is better
Give me a minute to laugh at your entire life and shit taste

Whatever happened to "Japan will get the movie all the moneys because they love Spiderman and animation" ?

For want of a snail.

>mediocre work rewarded while a leap forward is not
>WOW WHO CARES

>a leap forward
In direction of a toilet or something?

Because the movie was awful.

>thinking Spider-Verse is anywhere near as groundbreaking as Captain Marvel
baka

In what world was Spiderverse not rewarded? Just because it performed worse than CM? Fuck off with your retarded metrics. You're trying to make a contest out of nothing, grow up

finally somebody made a gif of this part of the video.

Brie a waifu

will caotain marvel win an oscar

Based

This bait is still circulating?

Numbers show CM was 3X more popular. If that doesn't make you sad, oh well.

How is CM.groundbreaking it’s the same generic copy and paste from every other superhero film

>the movie with the higher marketing budget made more money
Gee, who would’ve guessed

>SpiderVerse not rewarded

It took the friggin Oscar, dude. And $300 million on a $90 million budget. It even made Miles interesting.Even if they don't go the sequel route it's a pretty good success story, and well-deserved at that.

Spiderverse was everywhere with marketing. McDonald's, local mobile stuff, shit was constantly in TV

I loved Spiderverse but I've more things going on in life to be sad about than some big-budget movie not performing to your apparently impossibly high standards

Popularity has no relation to quality. Also Spider-Verse will have a longer lasting influence than CM.

Carolfags deserve to hang

It had a marketing budget, but definitely not as far reaching as captain marvel. No matter where I go, I see shit for it. Both from people who paid for it and those giving it out for free

>10,000,000 to get japqnese spider-man
>Japan fail at getting their spiderman

Japanese Spiderman you say?

dont pretend to care now
you hated both because one starred a black kid and the other a woman

Spider-Verse was technically impressive, but just fine as a movie in my opinion
I also already expected a box office performance like that because it looks like a 2D animation and that doesn't make money in theaters anymore

>Yea Forums is a hive mind
And most of that is bait, anyway.

There are more than two groups of people in the world

normies are disgustingly easy to impress. what else is new?

COMPLEX

>Chinks will never bolster your movie by more than twice the dollars

There's at least 3 or 4

Guess they love ACTUAL Spider-Man and dismissed it because of Miles. Based.

>1 000 000 000
Do /pol/ know it already?

Asslet movies
No thank you

Normies only care for typical action film. Specially when they see a brave white woman in the front in 2019. Normies only watch movies that play it safe.

One actually had people attend its showings the other had Disney buy the seats.

For an animated film, that's pretty solid

Japan's a meme

>And $300 million on a $90 million budget
OP is the same guy saying Shazam is a flop on the exact same budget

Life hasn't been fair since China kept the Bayformers alive and then let Bumblebee fall off a cliff. We survived that, we'll survive this.

>enforce decadent lifestyle to the masses
>then complain

>those baseless assumptions
You people are worse than the alt-right White Supremacists you claim to hate.

Spider-verse got an Oscar over Disney which barely ever happens and it got rave reviews while securing a better gross than expected despite it being a 4th Spidey continuity, a Spidey that isn't Peter and 5 other Spideys. I will take that as a win

Maybe we should happy that we got the movie we got with the reception it got and not turn everything into a contest hm?

Shazam is live-action and a tentpole franchise movie. It has more expectations on it than Spider-Verse

>while securing a better gross than expected
So the expectations were no money at all?

From the opening weekend, the expectations were a complete flop. The reception made it's legs stretch to a full 3x it's budget

Must be some dysfunctional legs

>movie with white lead makes more money
>movie with African-Hispanic lead doesn't

Count ur days Whitey, they limited

There are two types of people. First type are those that like Spider-verse, the others have small penises.
