Thanks for storytiming! It was an enjoyable read.

You can tell this is from the 80s because building a huge supermarket with a giant parking lot is not an issue

yes, the story was written in 1984.

Yep, nowadays the main conflict of the story would be Scrooge vs environmentalists or something, pretty sure there's multiple comics already with that kind of story.

yes, there are many.

Thanks user

>Donald playing a guitar
I'd have thought Scrooge would make him play bagpipes.

bagpipes are not romantic

Scrooge going for that romantic angle that’s why he got Donald to do it
>Implying

Thanks OP

Legend was after this story came out requests for usucapione spikes all over Italy

I feel like Jubal Pomp is too dignified a name for a translation.

Who wants to see Mickey's wedding with someone that isn't Minnie?

Oh hell yes. You duck comic people are fucking based and I love you all.

Actually storytimed this last week after tracking it down when someone posted a thread about the controversy. Like this story pissed off American Disney executives so bad that it was banned and all the original art was destroyed.

Really? Damn dude, I'm even more interested now. I better save all of these pages too.

This is the page that set it off specifically. A bunch of Italian tabloids and zines saw this and their minds immediately went to the wedding night sex. Roughly translated headlines read "NOW CHILDREN YOU MUST LEARN, MICKEY MOUSE FUCKS" and that's when Eisner and pals caught wind of it.

I thought it would be because Disney frowned at the idea of Mickey getting a non-Minnie love interest

Attached: 19.jpg (525x810, 202K)

Well that's what the Reset Button ending of this story is for, but no, Disney was terrified of the idea that people thought Mickey was fucking a tall blonde.

End.

That was nice, thanks for storytiming. Any comic, whether it's Donald or Mickey, where the protagonist gets with another girl instead of his usual horrible bitch girlfriend is always great.

Children, and now that you know the truth
Mickey Mouse Blows The Trumpet [fucks]!

Here's the Proof

The eternal adolescence of the most famous mouse in the world ends

Is my sweetie regretting what he did?
Mmmm ... who knows?

Another wall has collapsed!

And she was never seen again.

Well, outside of being retraced for a one page comic in France a few years later.
