Yeah that's the joke, some people use digital images as a reference (for example, I want to know what a specific car looks like, so I google it and use a picture I find) and others equate that as tracing.

Tracing is lazy, but it's not "wrong" so long as you don't steal when you do it. Using someone else's work as reference IS wrong because you're taking something someone else did and re-purposing it with your name on it. This isn't up for debate, you're a legitimate idiot if you "think" otherwise.

Kinda. I do think that a lot of the shit thrown at the actors for the newer movies was ridiculous, but Dobson is projecting at the end, putting more into the choice of villain than the fact its really a semi-logical and interesting take on the next generation of villain in the timeline marred by bad acting and terrible writing. He's also acting like the execs don't feed into the rabidness of fanbases to drum up controversy and publicity.
The Jar Jar hate was deserved, though.
Can we also talk about how the severity of the consequences are all over the place in his comic? Went from 'Quit acting' and 'Almost killed himself' to 'Deleted social media platform' to 'Sold franchise'. Dobson needs to learn how to prioritize it to ramp up the severity (Though, knowing him, he probably thinks women deleting Instagram is worse than a guy contemplating suicide).
