So he's singing about someone that leeched all his money and left him when he was penniless?
Is this alluding to the treatment of Native Americans?
He's singing about Nancy leaving him and him losing his massage business
youtube.com
So yes?
>whitey took all my money
FULL OF GREEN DUST
john redcorn reminds me of the cringey middle aged man who cant let his youth go and still acts like an irresponsible 20 year old
seen enough people like that irl
>tfw this is basically the protag for the show you're working on
Depending on the episode John's atleast self-aware/mature enough not to go fully down that route but he does turn into an overemotional teen when it comes to Nancy.
A lot of his situation however is implied to be largely because the deterioration of his whole community.
Why didn't anyone like it?
I think it sounds cool.
t. badtaste boomer
But Hank and Stickland are older than John Redcorn
>
BIG OLE HOLE
Go on.
It's a casual dining establishment. Even if the music was good, it's just not the place for it and clashes with the atmosphere.
I wish Redcorn could fill my hole.
*John Redcorn, scuse me
I hate how this episode ends Redcorn on a high note, only for him to try to fuck Dale's wife again later.
What is a boomer?
That basically what the episode is about. He keeps wanting his band to take off, but nobody will host him, so he gets financing for a casino on his land only to find out Indian gaming is outlawed in Texas.
After he realizes how monumentally fucked he is, he considers killing himself until he discovers kids like his songs when they're toned down.
They're like millennials but with the actual means of shielding themselves from reality.
And now I've got Cash Machine stuck in my head. Thanks.
I scratch a living it ain't easy
You know it's a drag
I'm always paying, never make it
But you can't look back
I wonder if i'll ever get to where i want to be
Better believe it
I'm working for the cash machine
There's a hole in my pocket, my pocket, my pocket
There's a hole in my pocket, my pocket, my pocket
There's a hole in my pocket, my pocket, my pocket
There's a hole in my pocket
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
The irony is that John Redcorn lived a very interesting life that would lend itself very well to some really good song lyrics. But instead of reaching deep inside himself and realizing this he just sings about how he wants money.
He just means he's a teenager trying to make a cartoon.
>retcon john redcorn into a struggling musician and give him an ending where he's one of the most success people in arlen because MUH INDIAN HERITAGE despite him being a scumbag
he even gets his own family at the end and he was quick to agree to sleep with nancy again despite dale now being a good friend of his now
Buck Strickland is more successful and a bigger scumbag than John.
he at least made up for fucking over hank that one time
