It's good but not great. It's far better animated than most 2010s cartoons, and it makes great background noise, but it's not the type of show you can really sit down and marathon

No. Hawkodile is not a fitting main character in a girly show like this and Dr. Fox is another fucking generic inventor/scientist character. When are writers going to learn that you can make an intelligent character that focuses on a specific subject? It's so goddamn boring to have an inventor that can come up with any solution at any time the writers want them to. If they only excel at one specific subject then the viewer and writer both get to have the "Aha" moment where we know it's that character's time to shine.

for older audiences, yes. Some of the jokes are about age, futility, general life paths and shit. The animation is vibrant, and there are little hidden jokes the animator sneak in that only last a second or two. It's pretty good, unlike that Ben10 shit that keeps getting hawked off for toy sales.

It can get hyperactive if that's not your thing, but more than anything to me, it felt like everyone working on it was just having fun with the show, which is more than I can say for alot of things.

It seriously bothers me just how shit the sets are. It's bad enough the only way people can discover this show is through TTG-channel or fucking Hulu, but not even the fucking toys are any good. They're all overly simplistic and uninspired as hell. More than anything, I'm baffled as to why they didn't give us any iconic playsets; Hawkodile's treehouse, Frown and Brock's apartment, Richard's van, the camping van, the mech from one of the earlier episodes, literally fucking any of Dr. Fox's inventions, and most confusing of all, we don't even have a proper playset of the main goddamn castle.

It's like Lego wants this line to fail.

from what i heard, apparently it was a complete and total coincidence? That RBUK was in production for a while until Unikitty's show came out and was just, much more recognizable.
I'm just speaking from hearsay though, so don't take my word as gospel. Personally even if it was an original show (and from what i hear, a good one), the character design is too butt-ugly for me to even give it a chance.
