Sure CW manage to keep it pretty light hearted but Jesus the price is too steep.

Actually they can. At the beginning of the series they talked about how her actions in Barry's timeline have shifted it so now her future is a different timeline/world to his meaning that now technically she's not his daughter, she's the daughter of another Barry that went missing meaning that in the eyes of the great cosmos and time itself they could be together no problem.
