ITT: shows that got canned to soon
I'm still sad
Motorcity
>only 25 episodes
fuck
>Everyone else here lucky enough to get to 20 episodes or 2 seasons
>Everyone else lucky enough to actually get to air and be known before it got canned
This show had so much untapped potential. Instead, Disney put it on almost 2-year-long hiatus and dumped the remaining episodes right before premiering DuckTales. That's bullshit.
Did not care for the main characters
Only the good die young user
better to get 25 episodes of perfection than 6 seasons of progressively worse quality
This shit is the total opposite.
It still pisses me off. My mainproblem isn't the cancellation itself as in "no more episodical adventures" but that they had saved most of the backstories for s3 which we will now never see.
>More hype gived to Nu-DuckTales & The Battle Of Mewni
>Dump the 10 half hours on the app the same day of the premiere
Im still pissed about this
Hahaha.
No.
I really liked this show. I think it appealed more to older non-american audiences though.
What the fuck is going on with Disney?
WoY ended just at the right time - early enough that it left you wanting more, but not so late you got sick of it.
Felt like a show with a lot of potential
Milo Murphy's Law
pic unrelated
This show was actually quite good - why the fuck would Nick cancel it?
WOY was shit from episode 1.
One of the most obnoxious protagonists in cartoons, completely uninteresting storylines, generic villain. How it managed to even get two seasons is astounding. I can't imagine anyone but young children and people with autism enjoying this tripe.
This. I'll never not be mad about this.
Looks like all the major networks act like total jackasses, making insane decisions like these. Some of their shows get spammed constantly, some are stuffed into the worst timeslots imaginable, or put on hiatuses and aired in "bombs", getting cancelled/renewed with no rhyme or reason. What the hell is their endgame?
There's definitely a cut-throat profit angle to all this. IIRC, they cancelled Wander because its reruns made more money in the long run than making new episodes and premiering them.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAA I'M STILL FUCKING MAD
Came here to post this. Best cartoon
but making more episodes means more to rerun for longer
Also, they do not even broadcast the show anymore.
This.....
pre internet they controlled everything and good stuff could just be crushed out but now with internet streaming we are a hell of a lot more aware and the nepotism of the upper networks is no longer working like they want, it's why metoo happen, it's why they are trying to blacklist Netflix from award shows, because their little club is ruined and now the masses don't have to be burdened with what they want.
My assumption is that new premieres weren't bringing in enough revenue, to the point where not investing in it anymore and just airing reruns was more profitable.
>implying it wasn't on the verge of running out of steam anyway
WOY was never going to survive past a few seasons because it was super repetitive.
....aaaaaaaaaaand this
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
THREE FUCKING SONIC SHOWS SINCE AND NOT A GOD DAMN FOLLOW UP OR REBOOT
Ouu yeaah such potential, wasted
At least you got the comics. Oh wait.
Hey WITCHfag how's it going
