Looks like Borderlands.
Looks pretty good.
>Continuing on the huge success of promoting up and coming Japanese animated films, GKIDS has acquired to rights to to the next film to come out from STUDIO4°C. The animation studio who were involved with the production of films like MFKZ, Mind Game, Animatrix and many stand out works. The film is an adaptation by a manga of the same name, written by Daisuke Igarashi, and the film itself is directed by Ayumu Watanabe (After the Rain, Ace Attorney TV series). Aside from the gorgeous visuals, the film's soundtrack promises to be phenomenal due to the participation of Joe Hisashi, one of the leading composers for many of Studio Ghibli's hit films.

>other countries make unique and creative animated movies
>we make soulless corporate sequels and kiddy shit
fucking bump, make Yea Forums, Yea Forums again
To be fair, so do they but on a far smaller scale, but you only notice the good shit because why would you import "France tries their hand at Pets Life, with half the budget"?
This Magnificent Cake isn't getting nearly enough love. It's being released this month in the US!

Hell yeah a foreign animation thread! I remember seeing a trailer for this way back when, looks intense.
It looks a lot like a Fish Night short from Love, Death + Robots. Is it the same studio?
>Last piece of news on that film was in 2016
Damn it. I know that Chomet is a diva who is difficult to work with, but what takes so long? What's the reason for such prolonged radio silence?
Why must you only measure things by bringing others down?
this site is generally negative on things also people really care where something comes from for some reason like Japan vs west on Yea Forums
>upcoming
I saw it a year ago though
holy shit that animation is HIBY tier
>feature length stop motion in 2019
>not for kids from the looks of it
What kind of insanity is this

Wolfwalkers
Unicorn Wars
>HIBY
What?
Where can I watch this?
This another one of those pretentious art-house flicks that uses animation as a way to distinguish itself from the rest of that drek?
>Where can I watch this?
Probably in the future.
