Ehhhh Sucker Punch was fake deep and it was kind of annoying. Every time they cut to an action scene I was just annoyed that I wasn't getting more mentally ill hooker drama. I don't even mean I wanted to see the dances I just wanted more follow through on the plot.
Guardians wasn't spectacular but pretty owls doing swooshes through the night is comfy.

Ironically the movie was pretty damn close to the source material, issue being that there's just too fucking many.
The author was cranking these books out every 3-6 months or so toward the end of the series and had to write several different spinoffs because there just wasn't anything else to do.
