For me, this chapter cemented itself as Kino
Can I include anime?
I'm including anime
episode 11 of Revolutionary Girl Utena
Cringe and blupilled
Based and redpilled
So much happened in the first episode of Cowboy Bebop but the plot flowed so well. One of the few shows I would consider kino from the start
Is this James Baxter?
...
At least give Kino a pass
Actually fuck that. First episode showed me that the show was kino.
I don’t see him in the credits, so probably not.
Pretty good example there. I feel like that was definitely the episode that made me see the potential the series has. Hopefully they don't fuck it up.
Nice
That or the first episode, honestly, it was all very nice and I found it stayed that way.
Lapis' introductory episodes are the opposite of this and tricked me into thinking the show would be good
Mecha shiva!
Watching this live and discussing it with Yea Forums brings me back to simpler(?) times. Can you believe these episodes were written as a potential series cancellation finale? It feels like the writers are only guaranteed to write good shit when their backs are against the wall or dangling off a cliff.
>watching dyke ra
>unironically calling it kino
every time i think about this i get angry. what a goddamn waste.
If only the rest of the show looked as good as this gif
I got into the show earlier than that but it was at this point that I realized how sad it is that the show had only so many episodes. Very underrated series.
(OP)
Catra and Entraptra's personalities are basically carbon copies of Ryoko and Washu from Tenchi Muyo. If you like the reboot's take on these characters, then you should check out the Tenchi in Tokyo anime and see the original versions.
