I saw a clip of this episode earlier of these two guys talking about Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy. Is this entire episode about framing nostalgiafags as the most obnoxious people possible?
It's one thing for a show like OK KO to be meta, it's another for Craig of the Creek to not only be meta, but potentially mock it's viewerbase. At least OK KO treats it's predecessors with respect.

No, it's just a side-gag with one of the Elders forcing himself to hang out with the younger kids who don't get his cartoon references due to them being too young. There wasn't any disrespect to the shows or nostalgiafags, he was suggested to talk about these shows with someone who could understand him.
You could try watching the episode.

That's was a really good episode, loved how Craig referred to all those older cartoons as "black and white". Regardless the sour candy episode goes into my top 3 for the series. Hope the show keep producing good ones like the latest two.
