Who will replace Thanos as the big bad in the MCU and why will it be Doom?
Who will replace Thanos as the big bad in the MCU and why will it be Doom?
We can dream...
doom is just an autist with a cape
Doom will almost certainly be the villain in an avengers film. Magneto probably will too. I don’t know about big bads. Maybe they could do something with reed and the maker?
Doom would win because DOOM doesn’t lose.
That's why we love him
If they want to do more space stuff, it's probably going to be Annihilus
Most likely Galactus
I still hope for Onslaught. Not the greatest in comics but would work fine in the MCU if they do a slow burn
Autists are always the most dangerous characters.
>Doom
>Prime Time
>God Emperor of Humanity
>Urza
>Seto Kaiba
>Black Manta
>another Doom thread
Why do you idiots actively seek to bring Tommy to the goddamn board?
Doom is a fucking PUNK.
Everyone talks about how horrible a villain he is, yet every damn one of his reads, at least the ones that I've seen or been suggested to see by Yea Forums, depict him as more of a fucking antihero than an actual villain.
Joker -- Killed Jason Todd, paralyzed Barbara, killed Sarah, etc.
Magneto -- Ripped Wolverine's fucking skeleton out
Green Goblin -- Killed Gwen Stacy, all of the psychological damage to his own fucking son
Doom -- The nigga delivered Reed Richards' child.
His big "act of villainy" there was just NAMING THE GIRL. Sure, you can toss out the whole "oh well he was proving that he could do something that Richards couldn't, he could help his family when Richards could not", or the bs "Oh well he's a classy motherfucker dohoho/he's an honorable villain" crap out there, but when it comes down to it, Doom hasn't done SHIT.
That all being said, Doom crying at 9/11 wasn't any sort of break in character or anything to me. Hell, I would even go as far to say that it was entirely IN character.
I mean it's a fair guess that he'll be a major villain considering he's the most well known Marvel baddie this side of X-Men. If it appeases that redditor, they'll probably WAY tone down his genuine Mary Sue-ness and focus on him just being a villain which may affect his comic appearances as well.
>Dr. Doom's full name in this film was originally going to be "Victor Domashev", but it was changed back to "Victor von Doom" during reshoots, to match his name in the Marvel Comics universe.
That's the type of hacky bullshit guys that think they are smarter than they actually are like Trank tried to pull. Marvel can not fuck up harder than they, and should keep the Russos and that screenwriting duo on as advisors or to help Feige plot out the future and how to make Doom as great as possible and another standout villain like Thanos.
>Galactus
every goddamn time with this casual shit
IF in the last post credits scenes of End Game, we see a metal hand retrieving a stone under the dust I will cum.
Oh boy can’t wait until he goes omnipotent to a theater of gasping marlel fans who change their opinion of it being a masterpiece of literature to a masterpiece of filmmaking
>Who will replace Thanos as the big bad in the MCU and why will it be Doom?
My votes:
Annihilus - Willem Dafoe (Negative Zone Doom)
Crimson Cowl/Adamantium Ultron - James Spader (Adamantium Doom)
The Mandarin - Andy Lau Tak-wah (Asian/Double Chinese box-office Doom)
Kang/Immortus - Ben Affleck (Future Doom)
To be fair, Tommy threads are the apex of writing.
I think the next big avengers villain has to be human.
Celestials
Sentry/Void?
Celestials as the next endgame event?
Throw in Galactus but he's too weak overal.
100% doom and Galactus will be in the next movies Galactus for sure will be an avengers villain
Thanos becoming an uneasy ally of the Avengers to stop Galactus is something I want. Heroes teaming up with past villain to defeat bigger villain is a trope I adore.
Phase 4: Osborn/Dark Reign.
Phase 5: Magneto/AvX.
Phase 6: Doom/Secret Wars.
Phase 7: Kang/Kang Dynasty.
Phase 8: Onslaught.
Also, fucking tired of this Galactus bullshit. He isn't a big bad material. At best, he'll be an antagonist in the 3rd Fantastic Four film. Which is probably going to be a crossover like CA: Civil War.
Could be Kang since time travel will, apparently, be a thing
