But if they wanted to get someone to play Lola in Wabbit the same way as she was played in Looney Tunes Show, I dunno why they went with her Space Jam voice. Would've made more sense to get the actress that filled in for Wiig in the Rabbit's Run direct-to-DVD movie. She fit Lola's current characterization MUCH better than Soucie.

Soucie was already cast as the fox spy lady when the show began, so they probably just decided to stick her back on Lola when they put Lola in the series, just to get that second voice out of her and save money.
But yeah, the old Lola voice trying to do an impression of the new Lola voice is super fucking weird sounding.

I once saw someone who worked on the show post that although the wacky Daffy was the version they primarily used in the show, later in the series they occasionally used traits from other characterizations for the variety or because just "wacky" could get too limiting.

Some studios find creative ways around it in order to rip the VAs off. Cartoon Network cast Tom Kenny to play Starscream in Transformers Animated. They later introduced an army of 6 Starscream Clones who were each functionally a separate character. But they credited them all as "Starscream" so Kenny had to voice play 6 additional characters without a pay increase.
Yeah, this guy mentioned her, which makes it even weirder. They had a better Wiig substitute on hand, but didn't use her and just got Lola's original VA to do a Wiig impression. It probably has something to do with what this guy brought up; a cost saving thing since Lola's original VA was already on the show.

I think it's the bizarre proportions. All the LT redesigns have very strange proportions, like weird bodies or gigantic snouts and noses, or just overall designs that are goofy looking. It can be somewhat tolerable on the male characters, since they can be any shape and size, but the fucked up proportions look wrong applied to a female character. They want Lola to be feminine and shapely, but they also want her to have "funny" proportions like all the male characters, and add in the fact that she still needs to look like "Bugs but GIRL", and she just looks weird.
I actually think her Wabbit design looks cute, but goddamn that voice. It doesn't sound like it should be coming out of that design.

I'm ago with LTS being Lola's default personality from now on because at least it IS a personality. But I think they need to either get the actress that filled in for Wiig on Rabbit's Run or find another actress that plays to that personality. Sucks that Soucie doesn't fit the part of a character she helped create anymore, but she really is off trying to imitate another actress even if it is for the same character.
With each redesign they try to make Lola look less sexualized. But with each redesign, I only want to fuck her more.
