Nah. I see it more that everybody will pitch in to cripple Thanos in a specific manner per person; individually their methods are moot but altogether they render him useless. Captain Carol will deliver the final blow that either kills Thanos or puts him out of commission for however long is necessary. She will also likely deliver a snappy one-liner just before the final blow, but that's like predicting that the movie will be filmed in color.
