Last time I was this hyped was for spidey 3 or Revenge of the Sith. That last line makes Thanos sound like Tony's abusive boyfriend though.

Guys, this kind of feels like it's confirming the last round of plot leaks. Where The Avengers go off to Thanos' "garden" planet and defeat him, but it's too late, and he destroys the Infinity Stones, so they fail to undo it at first, before the time skip Look at Black Widow's hair here, it's short and blonde, this is right after Infinity War. And then later, when she's hunting down Hawkeye in Japan, and slumped in a chair at the Avengers Facility, it's long and red.

Few movies get me as emotionally charged as these, I don't know why. it's pathetic but I get goosebumps.

I'm assuming that brief Pepper scene confirms the "she dresses up as Rescue and brings Tony back on Earth" leaks were fake, although supposedly the Rescue idea is otherwise real

What I mean was, compared to the first trailers, this has specific scenes that outline a story, unlike the previous ones that were mostly flashbacks. They were a conscious effort to hide the plot, unlike this one.

I feel like the relative sizes and placements are very intentional on this one. Cap is right in the center, as he is the core of the team, and needs to be strong to hold it together. Tony and Thor are behind, less central to the driving thrust, but larger, showing that there's undoubtedly going to be a lot of emphasis on their emotional journey, and grudges against Thanos. Carol and Scott are at the front, calling attention to the idea that they will lead the way forward, and bring the Avengers' new X-factor, the secret weapon they didn't have before, but smaller in size than the other centrally placed heroes, to emphasize how we aren't really tracking their journey as closely, as this isn't our last outing with characters we've been following for years.

He's had a pretty rough time of it, for a billionaire. I just had a thought about one thing that separates him from Cap: he never signed up to fight in a war the way Cap, or Rhodey or some of the other characters did. He was perfectly happy profiting off of war from the outside, and then real war found him, and thrust him into that world, and he couldn't in good conscience go back to his old mindset. Cap on the other hand was someone with the kind of stubbornness and fortitude that he saw something that he believed was wrong and tried again and again for an opportunity to fight against it. I think that actually informs a lot about the way that they've processed their respective hardships and losses. Tony often feels very raw and vulnerable, like a man who was never quite ready for the role he's playing on the front lines. Cap on the other hand has alluded to the idea that that role may be all he has left.

I don't want to relitigate CW, but in the end, the fight hurt because both sides had clear, compelling, emotional motivations behind their fight. The thing is, as emotionally big as that was for him at the time, the scope of it pales next to what Thanos did, and when it comes to putting things in perspective, yes, fighting Cap sucked, but what he did doesn't rate on the misdeed power rankings when held against what Thanos did.

Therefore, when up against the guy who committed the unforgivable sin of standing by the guy who looked out for him when he couldn't look out for himself, who physically wasn't even able to resist following the direction he was given when he killed mom, who also isn't even around anymore, maybe it's well past time to just bury the hatchet, especially considering that we're going up against a guy who already left a monumental wake of corpses behind him, BEFORE killing half of the universe.
