How fucking lame. Basically this current batch of writers outright admitting they're incapable of being imaginative/intelligent enough to write stories where Kevin uses his powers in surprising and imaginative ways to get one over Ben

It's implied some outside force gave him the schematics to make it in a dream, might have been Albedo.

When has Kevin ever been like that? He turns to huge monsters every series and in the OS, didn’t know how to use power combos until Ben pointed out. His advantage over Ben in the OS was that he couldn’t turn back so he always had his powers, Ben was the one who needed to outsmart him

Also, I wish they did away with his forced transformations in this reboot.

I have seen nothing about that, but someone called forosha on twitter (who works on the show also) seems to ship him with Gwen.
She´s also the storyobarder who posts the most.

That never fucking happened before. In OS he turned into a huge brute. In AF/UA he was a shit version of Absorbing Man. He was irrelevant in Omniverse.

They seem to be giving him more depth than the other villains in this show.
Part of why I think this reboot doesn’t work is because of how dumbed down everyone is. The heroes are dumb, the villains are dumb, everyone is dumb. Kevin seems to be the exception of this and is even getting an arc where he’ll end up as a big villain or joining the heroes.
He might save the show.
