The Heavy Metal soundtrack actually goes pretty well with reading these issues.
As a quick summary, Captain Stern and Hanover Fiste stole a large safe full of secrets from industrialist and general evil nogoodnick Fillmore Coffers. With the aid of his friends Aldo, Justine, Nico and their time machine, Hanover hid the safe in the past, over 100 million years ago. One of the safe's major secret is that Fillmore's soft drink company's main ingredient is an addictive molecule that turns people into zombies. And the plant that makes the fruit for the cola can only be grown in a prehistoric climate. Unfortunately, this resulted in the creation of zombie dinosaurs.
While Fillmore may be a cretin, he's never been afraid to do his own dirty work. And a flame thrower with a 200 meter range is good for dirty work.
Illissa (engaged to Nico) has expressed her dissatisfaction with her uncle's behavior, despite aiding him previously.
All things considered, Nico's very forgiving.
Walking from Wyoming to Montana is a bit of a trek.
And I can't imagine dinosaurs would make things that much faster.
The zombie T Rex are becoming a bit of a bother.
