why didn't they just adopt a baby?
Why didn't they just adopt a baby?
Because there was nowhere to go but Up.
This was the first movie I ever saw in theaters. My family was poor, so we never got to go. I was bouncing off the walls when I got home, grabbing balloons and tying them to cardboard houses.
Anyways, I asked myself that too when I was young, and I guess it was because the mother seemed very depressed. Maybe she just decided after that, that it wasn't really worth it.
boring blog
getting up and down a ladder to paint some elaborate mural while pregnant
no wonder she miscarried kek
dude, not cool, I'm at LOSS of words right now
Isn't adoption just another form of cuckoldry?
we like in a cuckoo world, you better learn to adapt to it.
How so? The baby isn't your wife's
Adopted babies can't love their foster parents. It's always about muh roots, muh real parents and shit.
> It's always about muh roots, muh real parents and shit
I know this chinese guy who was adopted by american parents as a baby and he goes absolutely nuclear every time you mention him china or his chinese heritage, never seen someone hate china with such passion as he does. he's a pretty cool guy tho.
As much as I hate my father, if I found out he was not my real father, I would find my real father and kill him so I can break all ties with his bloodline because he did nothing for me.
Why are you making up such ridiculous affirmations user? There are plenty of people with adoptive parents that would give their life for them in a heartbeat.
that means you and your wife are botrh being double cucked
Yeah but that makes it even.
UP theory: She ate the baby, and the tummy ache gave her upset stomach.
I went to church with this adopted chinese girl and she always called her adopted blonde mom "real mommy" it cracked us up so bad we'd go home and call our mom "real mommy".
They wanted white children
Hollywood strongly disagree. See countless movies, tv shows and cartoons about adoptive children whining about it. The big irony is that Hollywood is full of adoptive children but to be fair, third world babies are more like a fashion accesory.
/pol/ and truthpilled🙁
>why didn't they just adopt a baby?
>raising another man's child
That is definition cuckoldry. Never raise a child that isn't biologically yours.
There were tons of white orphans back then for WW2 and the iron curtain.
No it doesn't. You're still raising someone else's kid
People who are planning to become parents who are against adopting probably shouldn't be parents.
based and redpilled😃
Logically, it's a sound question.
But, there's a particular pain that comes with losing a child, and a whole other situation if it dies before it's even born, especially to the mother. Her hormones are going insane, she wants that kid, her body is screaming at her "this is your child, an extension of you, protect it at all costs." And then it doesn't even make it to birth. Some women feel like their worlds implode in such a scenario. It's like the world is telling you that you don't deserve a child. You're not worthy of having one. Even beyond that, just the heartbreak of it alone can cause some couples to simply abandon plans of having kids, adopted or not, altogether. To just let that not be a thing in their heads for a while, or ever again.
And, if it wasn't even a miscarriage, but a simple revelation that she's simply totally infertile, that can make a woman feel incomplete (same with some men, really). As though, again, nature deigned that woman in particular to be unworthy of bearing a child. While I can't imagine it's as bad as literally losing a child, before or after birth, it can be similarly world shattering.
To put it another way, the psychological impact of the situation can make logical options seem entirely unacceptable.
>Hollywood is representative of real life
user I don't know how to tell you this but they show those ones because they are more entertaining than the alternative. A show about a kid who finds out they are adopted and shrugs it off would be boring.
The neither of the birds whose egg is replaced by the cuckoo's eggs are the original parents... they're still both getting cucked.
You put it straight.
>People who are planning to raise and care for their own offspring who aren't also ready and willing to take care of a complete stranger's offspring probably shouldn't be parents
You're a moron.
Well this little thing called trauma probably played a big part of that
No, because cuckoldry has an actual definition and it's your spouse getting fucked by someone else with your knowledge. Kids have nothing to do with cuckolding.
>10 years later
>still haven’t seen up
Am I based or what?
The root of the word comes from the cuckoo, a parasitic nesting bird which gets other birds to raise and care for its offspring. It's not exactly off-topic.
To birds who can't tell the difference and do it unknowningly. There are animals who adopt other animals all the time.
No, you are souless, faggot
you're too young for this website.
Please take your boring story and leave.
that's where the word comes from, that is not what the word means
Because breeders place far too much value on their own genetics.
Superman was adopted😂
