Part of the joke of Scooby Doo is that the monsters are scary and they need to run away from them, HURR LET'S PUT IN A SMALL CHARACTER THAT WANTS TO FIGHT THEM DERP DERP
It's one-note and as I said it gets annoying the second time they have to carry him away.
Every character adds something to the group; Shaggy and Scooby are comic relief, Velma figures things out, Fred leads, even Daphne sometimes is a damsel in distress sometimes helps with plans. Scrappy is absolute dogshit and only adds a tired joke to the group.

Nope. Scrappy Doo was fine when he was first introduced. It wasn't until they started losing characters and tried to use Scrappy to carry the show that it became an issue.

They tried introducing and getting rid of characters,
When I was 6 they had The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo, it was just Daphne, Scooby and Shaggy, Scrappy, and some little nigger called Flim Flam or some shit
What they never understood is that the original team is well-balanced, they don't need to get rid of anybody or add anybody
